Thank you so much for making this quick guide, Lawrence! I've literally never messed with the "custom properties" option in Blender; I just assumed it was some advanced Neo hacker stuff that would be brutally painful and boring to learn. But your video made it instantly appealing! I'm going to try it out today!
Gosh after half an hour of looking at the SAME TUTORIAL everywhere just named differently, I really needed this straight forward peanuts music tutorial that ACTUALLY taught me something new. Thanks bro
Thanks! this is exactly what I needed. I have a robot with glowing eyes and I am using this to make it more convenient to change the color of his eyes on the fly.
Thanks for making this video! Helped me make a simple rotation property for my HDRI. For anyone who wants to do the same I recommend setting your max value to 6.275.
Really good info, I don't see many people taking advantage of the custom properties that much. I'm just wondering since I'm trying to make a fairly complex shader, are we not able to use the drivers option on textures?

I'm so glad! There are tons of possibilities for use with this feature, and I hope it adds value to your work!
This is incredible. I could use this same method to switch between a daytime, an afternoon and a nighttime scene.

That's a wonderful tutorial! It is precise, evenly spaced and not too fast and very informative.
Thank you very much 🙌🙌
I'm glad you found it informative and well-paced. You're most welcome!
thank you so much, for making and including a written version! I subbed, once you said that!
Thank u for the video , is it also possible to use float for mixing the shader value ?

thanks, you save my time
How do i change mesh to another mesh with custom properties?
thank you!
Thx :)
Dude, make sure you don't say how you got to those windows configurations.
