This is such a good tower defense game. I wish it got more attention.

You can beat the boss, put you need to get ube and flan down fast as possible to melt the mini boss, and you need supports (mocha,matcha,starfruit, bacon) to help you. Otherwise than that you got that right strat spamming sushi and chili. Wouldn’t recommend spacing cupcake out tho, cupcake does very good when clumped up together with supports (you need matcha for it to work tho and bacon)

A week before update 0.5.0, I was testing out some strats and got really close to solo clearing the map with my loadout being: Cupcake, Sushi, Matcha, Bacon, Starfruit, and Mocha.
My strat was to get like 4 cupcakes down, with a starfruit + mocha combo near em, then get the mocha at lvl 3 or 4. Max upgrade my cupcakes, then put down 7 Sushis and have them all lvl3 or higher. Then matcha and bacon combo on all of them too except for starfruit.
The rest was smooth sailing till the final boss. If I did it right I could have beaten it with my strat, but the best I got was dropping him down to 1900/35000
