Robbie said that the skin suit was to represent the idea that no matter how much he gave the public always wanted more and wouldn't stop until they got their "pound of flesh"
how many of us were just quietly, happily waiting for 'THAT'moment just so we could see their rection! great song, certainly shocked a lot of people when it came out, huge hype because they banned or censored the video. Nice choice, loved your reactions... lots of laughter and then pure 'rabbit in the headlights'
He so sends himself up in this. It’s so British it hurts. 😂 Love Robbie. His tracks are amazing… and my poor eldest got a lot of me singing his Swing album when I was pregnant with him lol. (I’m a singer so at least it was decent!) U can see why they banned it! lol
Love Robbie Williams, he’s absolutely huge in Australia. He’s cheeky, funny and has a great voice. He performed in the AFL grand final in front of 100,000 people, (Aussie Football) and did a great tribute to John Farnham, who was suffering cancer at the time. He had the whole crowd singing with him, phenomenal. Maybe stick to life performances from now on.😂
Went to see Robbie in concert & were told he would probably get his kit off. He didn't let us down, when he sang this track, he did strip to his briefs 😅
Haven't seen that uncut video for years. Your faces were a picture! Have you checked out Kids where he sang with Kylie Minogue. Saw Robbie live back in 2000 and Kylie came out to sing with him - amazing!
I bumped into Robbie Williams on a flight to Nice in the South of France in 1995. He'd just left Take That under a cloud, had peroxided his hair (some kind of disguise, presumably) and was travelling with Paula Yates and Mick Hutchence (of INXS fame - who I also loved). I thought that was hilarious because I really wasn't bothered at all about celebrity in my early 20s, so, without caring about embarrassing my girlfriend and other companions, I made a really shitty, smartass comment like "there are so many famous wankers on this flight I really hope we don't crash. Ten million preteens won't know what to buy next week." Yates and Hutchence gave it the ice cold stare forward treatment. Fuck them. But Robbie laughed out loud and gave me the nod. As I made my way to the cheap seats, I decided that he was a legend to me ever more. Then Millennium came out in '98 which I had on repeat while I drove all over Italy that summer. Magic year!
Lol I kept thinking "you guys haven't seen anything yet" Aww poor Rob, trying absolutely everything to get the ladies' attention! LOL Such a fun catchy song :)
Was wondering what your reaction was going to be when he ripped his skin off & then flinging his muscles & tendons all over the place. He is my namesake & I have this song as my ringtone. Robbie is a legend.
Robbie was originally in a UK boy band called 'Take That'. He then went solo and has had an extensive and successful solo career. He still packs stadiums 20 years later. 'Angels' is a must listen, but there is much more in his back catalogue. Loved the 'Eye of the Tiger' reference too btw!
Robbie was so huge back in the day!! He was known as the 'Cheeky One' of the boy band 'Take That' and then went solo. His solo career was slow to 'take off' but when it did, he was one of Britain's biggest stars. You should check out some of his more rock type tracks.... No Regrets, Let Me Entertain You & Karma Killer
I think this is supposed to symbolise that with every artist the fans want a piece of meat from them. If it be gossip or just a fan who is like X just threw me their sweaty towel or t-shirt to keep forever. When fans see their favorite artist fall short they want them to change. Anyway, one of is most recognised songs, apart from Angels is Let Me Entertain You. He is a diverse artist who always makes his music videos into a story. Like Supreme is about the 1970s F1 Championship with Jackie Stewart, Millennium has a theme of James Bond, Advertising Space has a story about an Elvis impersonator, The Road to Mandalay is like Oceans 11. You'd love Sin, Sin, Sin. It is a rabbit hole of fun, crazy, serious and interesting. All his songs hold a message.
This video was heavily censored in the UK. Before 9pm, the song would end after getting to his underwear . Some cuts would jump from the underwear straight to the skeleton scene. This full uncut version would usually air at midnight or after 10pm due to the skin and muscle ripping scenes
Hi from Austria, at the heart of Europe! I love Robbie! Saw him live 4 times so far. There are so many videos you could react to. Come Undone, Let me entertain you, Feel (live version at Knebworth), Something Stupid (with Nicole Kidman), Love Supreme, ...
This is one crazy video. Try Candy its over 10 years old now, but was one of his last numbers 1s hes had. Also co written with Gary Barlow from take that, so the hatched is truely buried.
Definitely has to request 'go your own way' from fleetwood mac's 'the dance' show at burbank studios. Superb live performance. Probably my favourite ever live performance in fact.
brilliant tune & brilliant video commenting on the predator/prey nature of fame --- the celeb can't exist without the voyeur and the master/servant relationship loops on and on and on... do we serve the "DJ" or does the DJ serve us?... Robbie knows he's as much a victim of the dynamic as he is a victimizer -- 'Enough is never enough.' the public isn't satisfied until the celeb gives EVERYTHING... Robbie Williams is kinda fearless and peerless in his self-awareness and commentary on his struggles with life under the microscope -- nice little documentary on Netflix featuring Robbie looking back on the height of his fame... great choice of video to react to! thanks!
This was a fun reaction and my new TV showed the colour change in your faces lol, it's one roller disco I wouldn't want to go to, do you know what disco's are called these days now records and CDs are not used.
Great reaction, the girls skating around are super models and they were told not to look at Robbie, hence him not getting many if any looks, until later in the video. And yes he did get naked in front of them :D.
The Video was just meant to be a dancefloor hit but the video was his criticism of the Music Industry. That to get noticed or paid attention to you had to keep pushing the envelope, going further and further to stay relevant and people were only happy when they got their 'pound of flesh'.
On the face of it..very pop.. has typical eh..hooks... The video tho ooft very much an fu to the industry... They way it can literally expose you to your fkn bones.. honestly great video..
There`s a Vincent Price film called "MONSTER CLUB" in which music numbers are performed, one of which is called "THE STRIPPER". Methinks Robbie is ripping off that idea but with a twist.
I remember first seeing this video when I moved to Mexico in 2000. It was on MTV-Latin America. I do not think the song and video were released in America until much later. I know the video was mostly censored when it did arrive in America.
The fact of censoring that video when it was obviously about humor is complete stupidity, the intention was not to be gore but to be funny Does the meaning of the video have to be explained? It is assumed that he enters the stage thinking that he was going to be applauded by the women but no one paid attention to his constant flirting and provocations, until in a part where he did not have any clothes to take off, they looking at him tempt him to take off his skin. Well, once he did it, women already paid attention to him, that's the funny part, it's just a comedy, is it so difficult to understand? Who did you expect to see the video? 8 year old children? The REM's video called bad religion seems more grotesque to me, with those scenes of explicit torture and no one censored that video in US
Robbie said that the skin suit was to represent the idea that no matter how much he gave the public always wanted more and wouldn't stop until they got their "pound of flesh"
'Let me entertain you' by Robbie Williams is absolutely brilliant! High energy, lots of fun...easily my favorite of his.
Any live performance is worth the watch.
how many of us were just quietly, happily waiting for 'THAT'moment just so we could see their rection! great song, certainly shocked a lot of people when it came out, huge hype because they banned or censored the video. i was and i'm 70
Me too !!! Oh this is going to be fun....herrrre it comes... It still grosses me out.
I was patiently waiting for the gasps of horror, hilarious to see.
He so sends himself up in this. It’s so British it hurts. 😂 Love Robbie. His tracks are amazing… and my poor eldest got a lot of me singing his Swing album when I was pregnant with him lol. (I’m a singer so at least it was decent!)
U can see why they banned it! lol
Eye of the Tiger......LMFAO!!!!!
🤣
"You might see the eye of the tiger." One of the best lines ever!
I remember that this song by Robbie Williams was an incredible success throughout Europe
when robbie was in the skin suit he popped down the shops for some snacks for a laugh
One of my favourite things he did 🤣 just nipped to the shop

The symbolism is fairly obvious, like him exposes himself and giving more and more.
And we eat it up.

Ironic that the two with no soh died young.
The point of the video is that he had to give her absolutely everything before she noticed him .
Lol I kept thinking "you guys haven't seen anything yet"
Aww poor Rob, trying absolutely everything to get the ladies' attention! LOL
Such a fun catchy song :)
This song (and MV) is iconic in Europe (I'm from Italy), as is Robbie. I personally really like his swing albums too
Was wondering what your reaction was going to be when he ripped his skin off & then flinging his muscles & tendons all over the place. He is my namesake & I have this song as my ringtone. Robbie is a legend.

Loved the 'Eye of the Tiger' reference too btw!
Forgot about this video to how graphic it was at the end! lol
Robbie Williams live at the Royal Albert Hall 2001 is completely different 😊
Robbie is my love and he is brilliant to💖💗🔥
the " dj" in the video is called Lauren Gold, an English model( now actress)
One of the special effects artists I went to school with and was my neighbour... He created the buttocks and the heart for this video!
Robbie was so huge back in the day!! He was known as the 'Cheeky One' of the boy band 'Take That' and then went solo. His solo career was slow to 'take off' but when it did, he was one of Britain's biggest stars.

I just always appreciate artists sing in a talky way..then the switch up comes...and its impactful
Helicopter 😂Eye of the tiger 😂I couldn’t stop laughing 😂😂😂

Robbie Williams, supreme.
Another crowd entertainer magic
Some of your best work Suzie. Had tears in my eyes. Another cool track of his is called Kids featuring Kylie Minogue.
The Original Video was not Blured out, you could see everything lol that is why MTV Banned it that and the Total Mutilation of Himself
Live at Knebworth is required Robbie viewing. What an Entertainer.
Aw god sake man.... 😂 This is my guilty pleasure ❤
I thought this was the coolest music video when i was little. It was always on the telly in Australia when it came out.
Catchy song & great video. With all that flesh being thrown around, I wonder who ended up with the one eyed python. Lol
Gotta luv Robbie, it was his idea
Love Robbie.....huge in Latin América
😂😂😂 i love your reactions ... Robbie is Legend ❤😂❤😂

No Regrets is one of Robbies best songs.
The song goes from full monty straight to hellraiser
Wait for it😅
I can’t remember the last time I laughed out loud. Thank you 😂
Eye of the tiger deserves a like!!!!
This is one crazy video. Try Candy its over 10 years old now, but was one of his last numbers 1s hes had. Also co written with Gary Barlow from take that, so the hatched is truely buried.
I'm still rocking to this music.
I know right? 90's Music is art.
This song was massive at the time
You two kill me 😂😂😂..I love your reactions, always guaranteed a laugh
Si, los niños y adolescentes veíamos eso en MTv😂
Jesus, Robbie Williams. Jesus...
Now we know this guy does the Helicopter for his Lady on a regular basis.
I mean each to their own. :D
One of my favourite Robbie songs is his swing duet with Nicole Kidman, 'Somethin' Stupid' I think it was called.
Brilliant reaction !!! look up Hot Fudge, live at Knebworth.
You should do Robbie William's and delta goodrem live at the AFL Half time show
Robbie would, I think, be the most enthusiastic helicopter pilot of all time IMO. You just know he would.
All Robbie reactions should be on his live performances! Can we make a rule?
I absolutely love the people trying to find deep meaning in this, like they are philosophers. a 6 year old could figure it out 😂
Definitely has to request 'go your own way' from fleetwood mac's 'the dance' show at burbank studios. Superb live performance. Probably my favourite ever live performance in fact.
This song was huge when it released
EYE OF TIGER!! HAHAAA😂
Don’t let me down Robbie.
Several female’s were friends. Mostly bar staff.
Helicopter 😂😂😂😂😂
franki goes to holleywood relax is even more extreme

Robbie live at the Albert Hall. You’ll see a totally different Robbie.
Adding a little bit of info - the DJ is actually Lauren Gold, an English actress / model
Why were you shocked and why were you both wearing hats. Were you cold?
Yes yes yes😂😂😂
Omg your react to the skin removal had me LOL
There’s some funny footage somewhere of Robbie in that muscle suit running down the side of a road
😂😂😂 you both rock❗
This was a fun reaction and my new TV showed the colour change in your faces lol, it's one roller disco I wouldn't want to go to, do you know what disco's are called these days now records and CDs are not used.

He is big in Argentina and Uruguay too
Great
Of course have to do helicopter!! 😆😂

Eye of the Tiger 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Angles by Robbie .
😳 I didn’t see that coming 😂🤢😂 I know and love the song but I had never seen the video before
Oh- that's the first time I saw this one though know the song- I couldn't watch the end- it was too gruesome.
hi could you react to no regrets or millenium by robbie williams also ? thanks :)
HE just talks, SHE just grins the whole time...
So?
The Video was just meant to be a dancefloor hit but the video was his criticism of the Music Industry. That to get noticed or paid attention to you had to keep pushing the envelope, going further and further to stay relevant and people were only happy when they got their 'pound of flesh'.

Almost choked when you said it may get removed in us if there’s any kind of nudity ,you mean the country that as one of the biggest porn industries 😂
There`s a Vincent Price film called "MONSTER CLUB" in which music numbers are performed, one of which is called "THE STRIPPER". Methinks Robbie is ripping off that idea but with a twist.

I think he called his American tour 'The Ego has landed'.
Please react to Let Me Entertain You
Try Kids that he did with Kylie. Talk about sizzle…
Elo jungle
Basically he is saying “what do I have to do for you to notice me?!” It is gross though.
very weird video like the song tho
Like the song. Could have done without the video.
The fact of censoring that video when it was obviously about humor is complete stupidity, the intention was not to be gore but to be funny

TOTALLY PEEING ME OFF. OTTA HERE . TALK TOO MUCH !!!!
