I'm 34 and my gray's started coming in like the beginning of last year. I'm not sure how to feel about it yet but you truly help me with either decision I'm going to make. I really appreciate that. And I'm so frickin happy for you! Beautiful always!

Why are men with gray hair seen as distinguished, while women with gray hair are judged as ‘letting themselves go’? 🧐 Misogyny. You go girl! You are fabulous ❤

@@Jheneaaikoit’s common knowledge. Men are “silver foxes” women are seen as haggard and witches who have given up on themselves if they stop dying.

Exactly, look at richard gere, he has been a silver fox for so long, even in pretty woman (he was 40 at the time), he was grey. We don't see female celebs that have grey hair, so it's not the "norm".
Try thinking of a beautiful grey haired lady, they all typically fight to keep it covered up.
I can think of helen mirren, jane fonda, diane keaton, but they are all grandma age 70-80.

I’m 40 and stopped covering my gray about two years ago, and I think you’re right when you said how being happy and content in life is a huge factor in accepting it…I found my fiancé 7 years ago, and when I realized every time I changed my hair he would say “babe you always look good” that he actually meant it, and that my kids could care less about what color my hair is, I was like why am I doing all this upkeep? For other people? Anyways you’re doing great and your hair looks so beautiful…. Just wait till you see a gray from root to tip! You will never want to cover them again. ❤

You look beautiful either way whatever you decide. You have definitely influenced me into accepting my grey hair. It’s so weird for me though because I have watched you for so long and you were always saying you were going to leave your hair alone. You use to change it so much but to see you actually do it now to grow out grey hair I’m surprised is all but I love the complete acceptance of oneself. I never thought about that being rebellious but in a sense it is either way I feel like I’m on a journey to discovering myself as well, it’s good to hear that others are too!❤

I was actually just talking to my husband about your gray hair journey because he keeps telling me to stop covering it up and dying it. To just let it grow out for once and embrace it. I told him that you are doing that and it inspires me , but it's hard to really let go of all those years of hair dying and just let it be. Lots of love and good energy Kasey✨️💫❤

I got my first gray when I was 19 and pregnant. I've had my moments with allowing myself to be ok with it. Makeup and beauty is a way to express myself, and my hair is a part of that. I'm happy for you and so glad you are on this journey!

People will always find a way to judge someone else especially when that someone is going against the norm. Accepting your natural hair and color is great as you said to embrace your character and true self. I haven’t shaved my body in years and I’ve been judged, mostly by other women, but I don’t let others opinions influence my personal choice with my body. I think it’s great to have more people like us doing our own thing so we can stop the societal expectations and norms about looks and appearance.

I think your hair looks awesome! A lot of our hair color origin can be passed down through families. Both my sister and I have very little gray. Our father’s parents were from Romania. I’ll be 70 next month and have some gray in front of my ears, my sister, 73 has less than me. I embrace mine, like I’ve gained some wisdom from each strand. We swerve with the curve! As a longtime subscriber, I am so happy for your happiness! You deserve all the wonder this life has to offer, sweet girl!❤

I just turned 45 and decided to stop coloring my hair 5 months ago
And I noticed people treat me differently and not always in a positive way. My hair dresser tried to talk me out of it but I just got tired of covering up. I felt like I was hiding something.
I have started wearing all my eyeshadow and jewelry that I have had waiting for a special occasion.I am trying to remind myself Life is the special occasion and it's ok to look my age. It is a privilege to age,not everyone gets to do it. Blessings and good luck on your journey

Your grey is beautiful❤ I’m four years in and my grey is not as uniform as yours but I love it. I will say it’s been disappointing that most negative comments I receive are from women. That said, I’ve realized that the only beauty standard that should matter to me is that which I set for myself.

Mine is silver strands throughout and small chunks in the front.. I started getting white/silver hair in my 20s, now 44, It does make me look and feel old, i don't like it but can't stop it. So decided to ride the wave and see what it looks like. Also it is freeing not having to dye your hair every other week or monthly.

The problem with going grey for some people, is that the color does not suit them. Also grey hair tends to look coarse; not like the smooth color of your natural hair.

I enjoy this video a lot. I am 43 yo asian and have about 60 percent of my hair is gray. I have chunks on my bangs and I have been coloring it dark brown for at least 6 years. but few moms ago I finally got to a point to grow my hair. I am not on my 3 going on 4 most without touch up when normally I would co it every month once or twice. I am glad I started embracing "wisdom" but Im not gonna lie that a lot of times when I look in the mirror it is all could see and I would have this very strong urge to cover it. being asian I have a naturally black thick hair and it is beautiful but I also have been getting a lot of grey. my husband and kids don't want me to color them anymore and jus let it grow. for some reason especially my husband like my gray. he thinks its like highlights especially have chunks on the from and left bangs. I admit it looks great but I still have strong urge every now and then to cover it. I am going to keep growing it and hope I could hold it for as long as I could. I am doing this mainly coz I hate coloring my hair. so tired of doing it. I dread the time when I had to touch up again.

Radical acceptance 👌🫶🏼 I went grey and hella thinning since my mid 30’s and thought that I was “supposed” to dye my hair or buy products to make my hair look thick. I have done lots of inner work and love and accept myself completely. Now I am on the outer journey. Thank you for sharing your journey. I am not alone. 🫶🏼
