Played this all mornings when mum was in the hospital, the LORD is ever so faith-full, He healed her when doctors thought it was impossible for her to live. Glory to God in the highest. In my school, I was given the role of Mother Mary on every 8th September for 8 consecutive years. Class 3 to class 10. And this song was sung by my class in the 10th grade, the last year of my chance to be mother Mary. And now I'm 17, class 12 but different school. Mediation by lord Jesus Christ reconciles humanity to God which has many aspects and dimensions to it. The economy of salvation God intended cannot be fully understood by any man. Wrong! Mary is in heaven, her body isn't glorified yet, there's no suffering in heaven + Jesus is God & paid the price with His perfect body on the cross on OUR behalf so that we can choose Him as our Savior and make heaven our eternal home.
As a Catholic Christian, I have sincere love and respect for the Virgin Mary. She became the Mother Of the Son Of God. Two of my favorite devotions to her is the Holy Rosary and the Novena Of our Lady of the Miraculous medal. With these types of devotions, she’ll help me get more connected to God and his son Jesus Christ. And no, I don’t have any shame of showing my sincere devotion to her. In the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church, she’s referred to as the Theotokos. They too have sincere love and respect towards her. Even the Anglican/Episcopalian Church.
And when I (John) heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. Then he said to me, “See that you do NOT do that. Regarding your comment on the Blessed Virgin Mary, Jesus’ addressing Her as “woman” may sound a bit cold. But in Aramaic, the language in which Our Lord spoke, it was actually a term of respect, a normal, polite form of address.
When Jesus refers to his Mother in the same way from the cross, “Woman, behold, your son”, in John 19:26-27, that context certainly shows the Jesus meant no disrespect for his beloved Mother, since he wanted to make sure that his beloved disciple would look after Mary after Our Lord’s death, resurrection and ascension into heaven.
The most exalted and trascendental use of “woman”, recalls two instances:
1.- The language of Genesis 2:22-23 and the first WOMAN named Eve in the world, mother of all humans, who by her NO to God would propitiate the loss of God's grace for humanity.
2.- As described in the Book of Revelation (11:19-12:6), since the time of the early Church Fathers, this image of the woman has had a three-fold symbolism:
1.- The ancient people of Israel
2.- The Church
3.- The Blessed Mother
However, the fullness of the image IS the Blessed Mother, for she fulfills the prophecies regarding the coming of the Messiah, and she is the Mother of the Church.
In contrast the Woman named Mary, who at the annunciation said YES to God, is now transformed as the NEW EVE, the mother of all the living when on the Cross Jesus said to his mother, “WOMAN, behold, your son!” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your MOTHER!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.
(JOHN 19:26-27)
That is therefore Mary’s exalted status in the Church and in the history of salvation as the Mother of the Redeemer, the new Eve, since through Eve we lost Paradise and through Mary, the New Eve, with her yes, salvation came into the world, when she gave birth to Jesus.

As a Catholic Christian, I have sincere love and respect for the Virgin Mary. She became the Mother Of the Son Of God. Two of my favorite devotions to her is the Holy Rosary and the Novena Of our Lady of the Miraculous medal. With these types of devotions, she’ll help me get more connected to God and his son Jesus Christ. And no, I don’t have any shame of showing my sincere devotion to her. In the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church, she’s referred to as the Theotokos. They too have sincere love and respect towards her. Even the Anglican/Episcopalian Church.
And when I (John) heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
