I played it a good bit over the weekend and I love it, but I have a hard time considering it a JRPG. It may have some aesthetics of a JRPG, but it's really more of an action game with anime cutscenes.

Every single part of that battle, ESPECIALLY what lead up to it, was glorious. I'm actually looking at doing a whole video JUST on the cut scenes in this game and how being in VR impacted the experience.
It was both a meme and and a sad story mixed in one I feel that even though it resided in a couple of dark levels it was still fun I also found it easier than medi guardian lol
They actually do have an option teleportation. On top of that, they also offer snap turning, vignette in motion, and there's a main mechanic I mentioned in the video called blinking that lets you teleport a longer distance. Probably not the most ideal way to play, but they have done a good bit to try and accommodate motion sickness. If you can find a way to try the demo, I highly recommend it. They have the main movement and gameplay tutorial right when you start and it's pretty quick. Should be good for letting you know if the game will work for you or not without having to put down any money.
...Your comment has made me realize that I can't for the life of me think of a single VR exclusive IP that has received the r34 treatment. As a man of culture, this is terrifying. Might just have a homework assignment for my inner artist once I'm done the review.

I hope they dub it eventually. Subtitles and low vision don't work in VR.
