Merry Christmas! I just found your channel and am super excited to hear you are in Wichita. I am from that area but now live in Lawrence. I look forward to visiting the shop you mentioned next time I am in town. I would love to win 2,3.
I absolutely love love love the Christmas rules stitch and finish that you completed! Wish I could find that same stand at HL but I haven’t seen it. I’m also addicted to Brenda Gervais, I have several of the same patterns and they are on my 12 x 12 list. Just going to go with it and cross stitch whatever season I want to, no rules, right? I actually re-broke my arm about a week ago so my stitching is limited but I’m determined to try to join in on NYE’s 12x12. Goals, hmmmm - have tons of fun stitching and begin quilting! 1, 2, 3. Hope you had a fabulous Christmas - so excited for NYE. Hugs!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! I think Christmas is just hard, no matter your level of cheer. My only real stitching goal for 2023 is to finish more and start less -- I have chronic start-itis lol! 1 3
1,2,3, your FFO was fabulous. I just bought that one. No Christmas Day start, I’m hosting dinner, no time to stitch. I don’t plan my stitching, I just stitch what I feel like stitching.
My pre-start for 2023 plans will begin by attempting the 12 by 12 on New Year’s Eve. I will be doing a combo of new starts and working on WIP’s. Happy New Year! 2, 3
Hi, Nichol: You are going to LOVE stitching Give Greatly. I did it on 18 count one over one and I was so excited and pleased when I finished it. I haven't decided how to finish it yet but will most likely frame it because the sentiment is priceless and I love words to express myself and the value I place on others in my life or those who pass through. I struggle terribly with this time of year but have two grandsons who remind me of the magic of the holiday; they keep me on track. Take good care of yourself and enjoy the days as they come along. I wish you a terrific Happy New Year!
Thank you for all your flosstube and card making videos. I really enjoy seeing all the beautiful things you create! Your home is so beautifully decorated for Christmas! I don't make resolutions but I have come up with a word for 2023 and that is Intentional. I bought last year the Heart box from the Happy Planner with no idea on what I wanted to do with it. I am using it to write and keep track of all the stitching and sewing projects that I am wanting to do this year. I always do so much for others but this year I am doing things just for me that I am excited and passionate about. Thanks for all your inspiration and look forward to seeing in 2023 what you create. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours!♥
My plans for 2023 is get more organized and do things for me which is stitching time. I have my new Stitchy floss tube family that I watch and get so inspired and now it’s time for me to get stitching. Love love the chicken needle minder. January month to month is on my wishlist. The FQS kit is exciting. 1 2 3 Thank you Nichol ❤
If you do the Big City SAL … PLEASE let me know! I would LOVE to do those cute ‘lil buildings! Can’t wait to hear about your 2023 goals … I’m sure that it’ll influence some of us (in a good way)! Merry Christmas Nichol!
I finished the mittens and the trees and now am working on a new quilt before I get back to needles and a 2023 stitching project. Thank you for the inspiration! 1 2 3
I am glad you went to the stitch store. We had one for over 30 years and just she retired and sold the business. New owners moved the business to MN. So we no longer have a local one. This has been hard for me but thanks to your flosstube I found Fat Quarter Shop. My plans are two at least two finishes a month. Thanks again Nichol. 3
I'd love to finish one chart per month in 2023! Wishing you all the best in the new year Nichol. Thanks for continuing to provide great crafty content. 3
Hi Nichol, Terri Whisler here. Your Christmas Rules finish is awesome. As for my 2023 plans, I am going to put a freeze on my pattern purchases and catch up on the patterns I have. I also enjoy stitching Brenda Gervais patterns, they’re wonderful. Thanks for spending your time with us, you are an inspiration to all of us!❤ Merry Christmas to you and your family. 🎄
I did not have time to start a project but I plan on doing the 12x12. I'm so excited about your planner info. Your makeup is always so pretty! I would love to see how you do your eyes. Merry Christmas. 2 3
Merry Christmas to you and enjoy your stitching 🎉🪡🧵 My goal for 2023 is to better manage my time in the new year. Set time for quilting, cross stitching and “cleaning”. Being a senior I get overwhelmed so need goals to relax more. I want to do the NYE 12 x 12 by doing 6 new starts and 6 WIP’s. Kitting up my patterns and making a list of floss needed, probably 3 trips to Hobby Lobby but still have time. Thank you for the encouragement and look forward to your next video 🥰🪡🙏☃️❄️
1, 2, 3 Merry Christmas Nichol - I so appreciate all you do and love watching your cardmaking videos as well as all the Flosstubes! My plan to start 2023, is to make placemats for my dining room table out of the fabrics I have been hoarding forever. I think to myself, "what are you saving this fabric for anyway??" So, that's one plan and then I'd like to get back to several cross stitch projects that are started! Of course, I keep making cards too so I do stay busy! Happy New Year too!! xoxo
Lovely video Nichol. I understand being grumpy. I was out of town for Thanksgiving and came home with covid. I wasn't very ill but was exhausted feeling for an entire week with zero shopping accomplished. Then there has been this thing with a sibling and our mother's estate, getting him out and the condition in which he left, it just totally zapped my Christmas spirit at times. But,I recovered from it all with my sweet husband's help shopping together,he even took off from work. Then there was the joy of my three grown sons shopping together and hanging out at our house, going to Mass and their great Christmas spirit made it a very good heart-warming Christmas weekend. You have great plans for 12 x 12. I hope to participate as well. As far as my plans for stitching 2023-I don't intend to plan.😂🥳 I will work on wips as they call to me and start a new piece if I am inclined to do so. If that doesn't work, I will do differently next year. 😂😂 I LOVE your Christmas Rules stitch and finish!!!❤ Thanks for the flosstube!! Sorry I wrote a letter! 1,3.
Your Christmas Rules finish is AMAZING! So very clever. I can see why you wouldn't do the back of it. But I was thinking about how you could use that cute chalkboard for more than just Christmas... was thinking valentine's pattern and patriotic/flags could go for memorial day, July 4th and veterans day. Not that you asked, lol, just that it came to mind when you were showing it. As for 2023, my goal is to take patterns all the way to FFOs. I've got 2 that need framing and 2 more that are taking too long to stitch and all I had thought would be Christmas presents this year! Ha, what a crazy woman I am! Would love 3 please. Thanks for sharing!
2, 3. Merry Christmas Nichol! Plans for the new year include actually having a plan! After many years of paper crafting, I’ve only recently gotten back into stitching (thanks to stitching dies and you!!) and I find myself needing more hours in the day to make all of the things. I recently dug out some of my old stitch patterns and kits, some 20+ yrs old. 😮 Love the ideas of witchy Weds and Santa Sunday. Sounds like planning might become another thing I need to do!! Thanks for being so inspiring. All the best in the new year. 🎉 ~ Michele
1, 2, 3 I'm such a monogamous stitcher, and seasonal stitcher, it breaks my brain to think about having so many starts all at one time! My plan for 2023 is to stitch a little or a lot every day and to get better at fully finishing my finished cross stitch pieces. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!! My 2023 plans are to complete WIPS that are over 80% done, stitch/sew and FFO my 2023 Christmas gifts, and keep a prayer journal to help build the habit of taking with God more. 1 2 3
Thank you for all you do throughout the year to inspire me to cross-stitch and quilt! I am enjoying your planning videos and am in the process of setting up my Happy Planner for 2023. Next year I plan to cross stitch 1 ornament per month, plan a new start each month, work on 3 whimsical Xmas stocking for my grandchildren, and finish my UFO’s. 1,2,3
I did do a Christmas start this year. My birthday is two weeks after Christmas so I plan on doing another start that day. And then my younger sister, who we lost earlier this year, has a birthday in February. So I have picked out a start for her birthday too. Then I plan to work on all my whips. thank you again for spending time with us and showing us your beautiful works of art. 2. 3.
Love all your purchases - so nice to have a local shop. My plans for 2023 is to use my happy planner to record my finishes, complete a project each month and to gift more of my finishes. Happy New Year. 1,2 and 3.
The holidays are always a hard time for me. This is the third Christmas without my husband who passed away in 2020. I was lucky to have my daughter here for the whole week and she’s expecting a baby inJune. poor thing was so nauseous, She was in bed most of the time, but just have her here at the house really made a difference for me. Looking forward to doing the New Year’s Eve 12 x 12. I’ve got to go out and get needles to get my projects all kitted up. I’ll probably do six new starts and six wips. I hope you have a happy new year.
Haven't stitched in a while -- time to get out the supplies. 2 3 -- thank you for a great 2022 of inspiration and looking forward to a new season and new year.
Merry Christmas Nichol!! ❤️💚 I love seeing all of your fabric in the background!! So pretty!! 🤍 LOVE your planning channel!!! 💓 Bless you, dear! 🙏 Oh! Your home decor is soooo cuuuute!!! I have cherished teddies and precious moments too!! We are so much alike, with what we like!! 🤍❤️🤍❤️
Merry Christmas 🎄. I cannot believe how fast time flew from thanksgiving to Christmas - I was scrambling 😅 I’m so excited to stitch along with the 12 by 12, work on my new stitchy planner with you and continue working on WIPS in 2023. I joined the chicken club so 1 please 😂. I have the other two already. Wishing you good cheer and Christmas blessings. I made so many of your paper craft tags and gift card holders this year and they are a big hit. I sent some to The Housewives and they were so appreciative- I felt like I needed to give you creative credit ❤. Thanks for your inspiration- you have brought me such joy. By the way, your house is gorgeous ❤❤❤🕊️
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas Nichol! My plans for 2023 are to be more scheduled with stitching so I am no lazy haha. I would be interested in 1,2,3. Thank you for all you do!
I only stitch on one project at a time. This is the way I have done it sine i started stitching back in the early 80's. I also usually do one big winter project, but nothing has intrigued me yet. So I will just stitch on whatever inspires me when I finish each project. Oh I do have a stash of patterns, fabric and fiber so whatever I pick out is usually 90% - 100% ready. 1 2 3
You are funny about dog barking. It’s better than the thoughts I have had about my neighbor that has 4 barking dogs all day all year. Thank you for your content. 1 2 3
2 3 - I hope you and your family had a very Merry Christmas! I have no plans at the moment for a specific stitch in the new year, but I will be stitching. We are just getting through some very trying times right now. But, God is good all the time. I'm very blessed to have the privilege to follow you and your channel.
I fly by the seat of my pants usually, but will plan for 2023 to finish more WIPS! Hahaha enjoy your Christmas! Remember not everything has to be done perfect it’s the memories that count and they never show imperfections! 1 2 3 😊❤️
Planning to tackle smaller projects so something gets finished. And scheduling nin the time until it becomes more front of mind. I find I can get overhwhelmed. . .
I completely relate to you saying you had a bit of a hard time getting into the mood for Christmas. I'm a new stitcher and am very excited to do the 12 x 12 on New Years. It sounds like fun. For 2023 I plan on stitching as much as possible but I seem to be guilty of getting finishes done but don't fully finish them at that time. They are piling up. 1,2,3
What a sweet treat to sit and watch your video after the gang left and I'm too whooped to do much of anything!! My stitching plans for 2023 are to create as many ornaments as I can for a stitched tree next year, and to complete a few big projects. Would also like to organize my floss and fabrics. Would love to see how you store your floss. 2, 3
I am planning to do the 12x12 on NYE but most will be WIPs and for New Years I want to start my “Give Greatly” too! As for my 2023 plans just as much stitching as possible. I love the idea for 4th of July stitching on the 4th! For giveaways I’d love either 1, 2, 3
I hope you had a beautiful Christmas, Nichol. I loved your Christmas Rules, it's beautiful! I haven't stitched in almost a week, I've been trying to get over COVID. I think I might be able to stitch a little tomorrow, I'm finally feeling better and more myself. The holidays really do play with our emotions, hang in there, and it's okay to feel a little off sometimes. 1
Bless you, Nichol. Thank you for your kind thoughts. Your Christmas Rules looks fantastic!! I love it. 123Stitch has the Black Jobelan in stock. I'm not sure if you buy from them. Plans for 2023... I plan to work less and stitch more! I've been watching your planning channel. I bought a Happy Planner and TOO MANY stickers. :-) 2 3
1, 2, 3 - I have no real plans - have several bigger projects going and would like to get them substantially closer to done than they are before I start anything other than smalls. Merry Christmas!
Beautiful Holiday decorations! Your home looks like a spread from Better Homes and Gardens! My 2023 plans are to finish all of my WIPS, starting on New Years. Thanks for all of your inspiration. 3
I am starting Welcome Winter by Primrose Cottage and really focusing on that one in particular. I am working not to overwhelm myself but just keep on stitching on all the new patterns I have ordered until I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I so love Cup Of Christmas Cheer as it is too cute! I enjoyed the video. Thank you! 3
2,3. I wish you and your family a safe, healthy and happy new year. Thank you for all the inspiration and encouragement. I hope to do Christmas ornaments for my nieces and nephews for next year. Have not decided whether to crosstitch them as I liked your felt ornaments. Still have to work on Santa crosstitch, hope to start this week. I do not plan on doing the 12by12 this year but hope to do some stitching. Take care and looking forward to seeing your 12 by12 progress.
I’m not a planner but I will work on that. Plans are a good thing. I would like 1 or 3. All ready have 2. You make me feel like everything will be ok. Thank you with Love. O no, tears.
My plan is for working on wips and patterns I already have. Except the new month 2 months and the new SWTH quarterly pieces. 1,3 thanks! Happy new year!
Love your stitching finish Nichol! You always do a great job and so fun to see. I am going to attempt 6 new starts and 6 new WIPs for new years. I love #3 please. I have been thinking of joining the stitch quarterly group, as I have loved those patterns. Thanks for all of your inspiration!!
1 2 3 I just want to finish my WIPS! I am Expecting my 4th granddaughter in march so the first thing I will be making is a baby quilt! Merry Christmas Nicole!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas. My goal is to have lots of seasonal stitches, birthday gifts, and one week a month of just Christmas stitching so I'll have a lot completed by Christmas 2023. Thank you for sharing. LOVE your Christmas rules. 2 & 3
Love Love you Christmas Rules short finish. I’ve had that stand for a while and now I know what I can use it for. Stitch this again short version and make christmas present for next year ❄️🎄☃️
1 2 3 I have several monthly smalls which will create a year long project. I hope to get the fabric cut and zigged zagged so that I get started! Happy New Year, Nichol🌷
1, 3. Happy Holidays and Happy early New Year!! I won't be stitching 12 x 12 but my "loose" plans are to start something new each month but devote the remainder of my time to my many, many WIP's. I am also going to go through my WIP's and deconstruct any that I don't absolutely love any more and/or use the stitching for project bags, etc.. You are truly inspirational - thank you for making such wonderful videos!
3 I plan to finish a large sampler, continue 12 days of Christmas ornaments (currently working on 8), and finish a cool photography themed project for my son. Really ambitious!
I loved the house tour! Everything looks beautiful! My plans for 2023 are to get stitchy organized, I would like to complete at least 12 projects, I am doing the 12x12 challenge with a combination of WIPS and new starts. I just really love to stitch! Looking forward to the new year. 1, 2 Happy New Year!
Happy New Year to all! My 2023 stitching plans are to complete some XMAS WIPS that I haven't touched in years. I have been motivated by a lot of your finishes also. I hope to participate in the NYE 12x12. 1,2,3
Merry Christmas to you and your family! Your project turned out beautiful. Your Christmas decor is gorgeous!!! Your home is such a welcoming place. Enjoy the holidays with your family. Take care of yourself!!!
I’m hoping to finish several projects I’ve been too preoccupied with other Christmas projects to do. 1 2 3

1. My 2023 plans include stitching a berry, a stand up, and a Biscornu. Finishing is not my strong suit so I am challenging myself. Happy New Year 🎉

Hi Nicole, another great video. I really enjoy watching you flosstubes, they bring me such joy!! Happy Holidays! 1, 2, 3.
28 ct Jobelan can be found at 123 Stitch. It’s my favorite cross stitch fabric. I also buy in the white. I’ve dyed it many times and I love it.
Happy Holidays! on NYE, I plan on working on both WIPS and new starts. 1,2,3

Number 3 is so darn cute, would love this!
I plan on finishing some of my wipes and of course starting a couple of small Christmas patterns. 1 2 3
Goal is to be more organized with my stitching. 1, 2, 3
Thanks for another great video. Plan to organize and work on WIPS for 2023. Beautiful Christmas decor in your home! 1, 2, 3
No plans for a Christmas day start. Good thing as it's the day after. LOL 2023 plans--to actually stitch as much as I shop and watch TH-cam. 1,2,3
You are so sweet and kind, I really enjoy watching your videos!
1, 2, 3
I fly by the seat of my pants usually, but will plan for 2023 to finish more WIPS! Hahaha enjoy your Christmas! Remember not everything has to be done perfect it’s the memories that count and they never show imperfections! 1 2 3 😊❤️
My main goal is to keep up with big city cross stitch pattern. 1, 3. Thank you!
3 I did not stitch on Christmas, but did finish stitches for gifts Christmas Eve. 12x12 considering I have been organizing whips and new projects.
My plans are to do some seasonal smalls each month, I have a larger sampler I want to complete and doing Christmas stockings for my grandkids. 1, 2, 3
My plan for the new year is to try out all the fabric I got for Christmas, different colors and counts of evenweave. 3

Merry Christmas! Hoping to use 2023 to finish many of the projects I didn’t get to in 2022😅. Absolutely love your Christmas Rules. Would love 2 or 3
I am planning to do the 12x12 on NYE but most will be WIPs and for New Years I want to start my “Give Greatly” too! As for my 2023 plans just as much stitching as possible. I love the idea for 4th of July stitching on the 4th! For giveaways I’d love either 1, 2, 3
1 and 2. I love the photos at the end. Your decorations are so beautiful. I have no plans yet for 2023. I'm a "what am i in the mood for stitcher".
My plans for 2023 is to get my sewjo back. And work on some of my stash charts. Happy new year🎉. 1
Happy Holidays. No real plans for the coming year. I will have a New years Eve/Day start. Hope you are enjoying your stitching. 3
Thank you! 3
I hope you had a Merry Christmas & have a Happy New Year. For the new year I hope to make some smalls to fill a dough bowl for each holiday. 1 2 3

I think I am planning a couple large Christmas pieces that I’ll work on throughout the year - Glitter Village and Kringles. 3
I do that often- “Merry Christmas to myself.” Lol
Since I have a few projects already started, I’m just going to focus on finishing those but will start a couple of really small ones too. 1
I plan on making some Christmas ornaments for family gifts this year, and also finishing up some current whips. 3
1,3 I plan to whittle down my WIP pile. So hard when it's so much fun to start something new! Love your Christmas Rules finish! Happy New Year!
1 2 3. I’m going to try to do some finishes and work up some of my stash. Hope you and your family have a blessed holiday season.
I didn’t have time to start a new project on Christmas Day. But I got plenty of new haul to play with after Christmas. 1 2 3
I hope to participate in the NYE 12x12. 1,2,3
