Let me say I LOVE my Phantom. I LOVE my Tethrd Xtra Large Platform. I use the Skeletors and like them. I personally do not like amsteel for platforms. Tie back limbs or etc fine. What amsteel does not do well is hold the platform. You hold the platform vertical and pull the cam buckle tight then cam over the platform. It NEEDS to bite HARD into the tree. There is a VERY high chance you will need to swing around and side load it. A cam buckle had every ounce of slacks taken out prior to being cammed over. No real way to do that with premade amsteel loops. The platform will be safe sure but will move around on the tree when side loaded. That's a big nope for me. I like a rock solid platform and the cam buckle provides that. That is the 1 thing a cam buckle can't be beat for at least for me.
Sorry but I totally disagree with you. I use these on all my platform and they are so solid it’s like the platform is built into the tree. When you get on the platform you simply toe hook it, and most time you barely have to lift the platform to get it to bite extremely hard. They may take a little more practice to use than a cam buckle, but they are more solid IMO
Versa links have been a solid addition to my set up!
I use a 1/8 amsteel daisy chain very similar to the verasalick as a linesman. Super compact.

Is there a video that actually breaks down better ways you can use this for platform etc.?
Why are they so long?
Thats what she said!👀😂
I make my own out of 1/4in amsteel super easy to do
Yep! DIY is always a good option if you are comfortable with it 👍🏻
