When solo farming for Toroids, I use a duration build Octavia. I use her 1, 3 and 4. I skip her second ability because if you don't place her mallet correctly, it can break the beacons; but doing this method I can just stay invisible, and let the enemies kill themselvs. Every now and then I will need some energy, but with primed flow on the frame, I rarely need to put down an energy puck.
Toroids are the one resource that's annoying to farm? Entrati Lanthorns would like a word.

@@WarframeFlo those are super easy to farm, use your slentiel with the ressource drop on death mod and start an exterminate. go to vvoid mode, let the sentinel be killed, die yourself and repeat. if you get a drop finish the bounty and repeat the dying again in the end then extract. got my 45 in half an hour mabe. i used loki so i die quickly and then did the misison on invisible
Idk, the zariman resources aren't bad. I've gotten all of those that I could possibly want just farming for arcanes and voidplumes
lanthorns are ez how nobody seems to have any is beyond me, farm standing in zariman for a few days and you'll have tons of them
I never struggled with Lanthorns tbh. When Zariman came out I just played normal Solo missions, searched for Plumes, broke containers, killed the Angels etc. I'm only just now starting to run out.
I don't think they're hard to get, they're just time consuming, so if you instead do other things on the Zariman and just enjoy yourself, you'll passively farm them a lot better.
atleast they dont require lures for eidolons

you get to visit places (underground bases, oooh so mysterious!) you normally don't go to, plus you're not tied to any particular mission objectives. Sounds like fun to me :)
orange toroids are best farmed in the earlier pt stage in my opinion. you dont need a full team and its really chilled and not so annoying
Such a darn pain, for sure. it does make me wonder about the relic/hr of the 3 lowballs, vs profit, vs exploiter. sure lazulites are 12k but how fast, and how easy can it be done vs getting 12 of the lowballs, or 2 crismas?
I would encourage atlas plus nekros. When ore gaze is installed gives extra loot ok.
But each fragment will count as one extra body for nekros dessecrate.

I have an ore gaze nekros that works surprisingly well.
Bringing a Smeeta kavat def makes a HUGE difference for farming these. Charm can spawn you free toroids out of thin air, which are boosted by boosters, and also another charm buff can give free resource booster that can give 2 fold or 4 fold boost (4 fold and 8 fold with an actual resource booster. Just make sure to use Tech Enhance and have Charm in the top left most slot.
Hey I've looked everywhere and Tech Enhance doesn't exist.
@@ravenhall254 tech enhance drops from the bounties in Fortuna, it gives extra ability duration (+30%) for kavats, and boosts charms effectiveness significantly.
The Smeeta proc gives x2 loot drops, and if the Smeeta uses it again while a previous one is active, it resets the duration and does another x2 buff (allowing for x4, x8, etc loot drops with no boosters, however boosters still stack multiplicatively with Smeeta procs).
While this is heavily RNG based, tech enhance increases the likelyhood of buffs double stacking by increasing the duration of the buff each time.

What do you mean a other charm buff? You can't equip two of the same mod.
@@asdfqwerty271 if the x2 resource buff occurs again, while a previous instance of itself is still active, it refreshes the duration AND multiplies itself. Initially, it’s x2. If this occurs, it becomes x4. If you get extra lucky, it can go up to x8 or x16 even.
Went Nekros to Temple and got 11 steroids in 25 mins. Without resource booster. I guess they made drop chance easier. It was supper chill and easy even when enemies were lvl 100.
I actually like running around getting my wanted level up in Orb Vallis. Just with it was easier to consistently get it up to the maximum. It's pretty fun to fight enemies out there and it's a real challenge, especially on Steel Path
lmao I'd never do it in steel path, you kidding me? it gets really rough after like 20-25 mins iirc, in normal mode at that, and I am mr28

This isn't a new meta this is how it's always been done
Yo just focus on me.
Do the spider in the cave boss fight (orb mother how is it called..) u get the toroid that gives 12k standing.
Add a resource booster (24k) and in the end dont pick up the resource just wait for smeeta kavat to proc double resource booster buff (the buff with the longest timer) and then pick up the resources from the dead boss (48k standing). This mission takes around 25 minutes, solo. Depends on how lucky u r waiting the cat to proc the resource buff. U can do 20 min or 30 min its just luck. Anyway in 60min lets say u will have 8 toroids that give 12k standing ea so 96k standing. Much better than the full team combo that gets 30 to 50 toroids (1k standing ea) in 60 min that means 50k standing max..
So ye...do it my way for standing unless you want to gather specific toroids to build something or lvl up.
It takes 10 mins with Octavia for me.
Or you can do profit taker in 2 min consistently and faster if you’re good, earning 6k per run. That’s 30 * 6 which is 180k standing, much faster and not counting the fact that you get credits galore and the latest prime relics already radianted for you.

@@georgevass6863 yes lol. 2 min is a comfortable time for many profit taker players. For speed runners that’s slow. Just knowing what to build and a little bit of practice makes your farm time much much faster, and the more you do it, the faster you get instead of waiting for RNG from your smeeta kavat.
@@zacharyhsieh9358 yes profit taker the much better approach. Great credit farm as well. But the requirements will likely be a lot for someone at this stage, exploiter may be easier for them to complete.
My set-up:
- Gloom/Despoil/Shadow Shield nekros (Arcane Eruption helps a lot to keep things under control as these guys can burst through your defenses if you're unlucky)
- Laetum build for toxin with a bane mod. You're gonna need this kind of firepower for Steel Path Fortuna enemies.
- Ripkas melee with the Amalgam Ripkas True Steel mod. The Gore chance effect means you get guaranteed corpses if you're using bad elements like Radiation that would normally disintegrate enemies and stop you from desecrating them. Also allows a lot of things to cut up enemies, that normally wouldn't work, like Toxin procs.
DO NOT USE COLD ELEMENT!!! It doesn't play nice with the mod and will stop you from cutting up enemies. Most likely a bug as in the past frozen enemies could be cut up...
- Smeeta Kavat and Steel Path. VERY IMPORTANT! That build-in resource drop chance booster makes this way better than regular star chart runs and Smeeta is a wel duh! for any serious grind.
- Both a resource booster and resource drop chance booster. Yes, that's 80 plat you need to invest, but this allows you to farm multiple full arcane sets with ease and quite a few of those go for 100+ plat on the Warframe market...
- Resource drop chance blessing from relay. If you can't do it yourself, ask someone. Most Mr. 30 players are nice people and will throw a blessing if asked to ^_^
Results with bad luck and playing solo (on Switch, the version with the lowest amount of enemy spawns):
100+ Toroids per hour and 4-8 Riven Slivers
Results with good luck and playing solo (also on Switch ofcourse):
300+ Toroids per hour and around 16 Riven Slivers
I'm not sure if speed running Profit Taker can match this, and it's a lot harder to do as well, considering you're also dealing with 2 loading screens for each fight.

yk you can use both hydroid and khora right? since yk, KHORA HAS ENSNARE???? also if you use khora and hydroid you won't be needing nidus as strangledome groups enemies, just

I had more trouble getting Atmos systems than I did any toroid. I fought Profit Taker so many times.
you just have to get to rank 3 with vox solaris. Then you can manually buy these bad bois

@@cartoonvideos5 You don't want to play the last phase of profit taker. It's very inefficient. Just play 2nd phase of profit taker again and again. You will have atmo systems in no time. It took me about 2-3 hours non-stop for full amounts. There are guide videos for playing 2nd phase as fast as 2 min at most. You will see how rare the repellar systems are. But luckly you can buy these at rank 3.

@@leachblah6313 I've already gotten them and the fortuna amp but I appreciate the advice. When I was farming Profit Taker there was double credits, so I was trying to kill two birds with one stone.

you can literally just ask recruit chat and start within minutes. It's not like destiny where you need to have an active clan, friends or use the out of game LFG tools to make groups.
I feel like some people took this a little too serious. It was just a joke.

Tried this solo and it was DEFINITELY not worth the trouble.
Might as well farm narmer bounties at that point.

We did it with 2 hyrdroids and 2 mesas, got hundreds of the things.
what about the 4th kind of the thoroid?
I know killing Profit taker/exploiter orb are some of the best Vox solaris standing farms but that's on IF you can actually fight them. I tried not long ago for the first time in the best kitted out Chroma I had and the mook enemies plus Profit spelt disaster for me and I had to abort.
I will try again at some point but right now I'd rather just farm Toroids from the open world areas instead of dealing with Profit takers crappy encounter/combat designs.
I tried it on SP solo with my khora well it didn't go as I planned it once it went to max wanted lvl oh boy

Apologies Vincent! Was trying to reply to a different comment, phone hates me! You are 100% correct! Just a lot harder, especially solo, for SP Toroid farming. Takes a special kind of self-hate to do that to yourself haha
@@Mark-nu3us Haha no worries Mark, it all makes sense now. Thanks technology! Steel Path raknoids are a bit insane but in a group with a Nekros you can get toroids pretty fast with some bonus Steel Essence from the occasional edgelord spawn.

additionally, don't use ranged weapons for the smeeta to proc less buffs as if you only bring melee, it'll not proc reload buffs, secondly, i prefer the squad use auras like steel charge and shield disruption, also one bring arcane pulse, arcane eruption (for more crowd control), arcane strike and arcane fury for dps, lastly, use ripkas, as there is a mod called amalgan ripkas true steel, wherein if maxed, has 100% gore chance, it means that if you kill an enemy using ripkas, it'll slice them, as individual sliced body parts will yield loot, thus doubling it much further (you can do heavy attack ripkas build since you have a wisp thus making the wind up faster)
last tip: make the strangledome as small as possible for easier positioning and killing
You are 1000% correct I completely forgot about the amalgam mod for the ripkas
Actually, the gore chance is global (anything you kill with will gore) so its much more effective to blow enemies apart with AoE
@@Frameygamey i didn't know about this, thanks, yet having no guns will lessen the list of rng roll of smeeta's buff, thus higher the chance to proc resource buff when one doesn't equip both primary and secondary
@@fedgy810 This benefit is dramatically outweighed by the fact that I’m gonna kill alot more enemies with my bramma then you with a ripkas
You dont proc the reload buff if your weapon doesnt reload. So you can use Bramma + Epitaph + Melee and still not get the reload buff.
how to change the fortuna background into purple light again after finish the new war quest. . its been a month my fortuna background still in red orange light 😰

or Solo grab a Mech and you can farm for ever, i run a 30-45min run and walk out with about 40 every run, or even Mirage.... and smeeta buff
On Friday buy resouece boster and use smeeta, each toroid Will multiply x 4/8/16 depending your luck :)
Buy both resource boosters one for chance and one for x2, and before that go to a relay and hope for a chance booster too, I did that with a friend and we got like 100 toroids in less lf an hour, i didnt had the smeeta kavat so it could have been more nor the resource x2 booster
I recently farmed enough Toroids in one session to be able to build Baruuk but then I died because I foolishly tried to do some Thermia Fractures instead of going back to Fortuna and lost all of the toroids. Thermia Fractures: not even once
one resource thats annoying to farm , looks at nitain extrain can't even farm it only get from nightwave or other missions .....
also the cryotic resource (40k for a weapon) , and recently dilluted thermia for me are annoying as fuck, getting 6 hildryn chassisses is a fucking pain in the ass

Drop chance + nekros = 32 Vega in about ten min.
how is your fortuna normal?
Vauban would actually be better then nidus as bastille has more range gathers more enemies and can grant a damage boost. Flechette orb will also delete enemies. Also not to mention vauban can hand out power strength for free
Might want to factcheck next time lol. Bastille/vortex vs larva: 100 energy vs 25, 15s vs 7s, 10m vs 12m. Larva has more range and less duration, which is good so dome can tether afterwards, all for 1/4 the cost.

hydroid is one of the worst farming frames because his abitity has to kill it and can only hold around 11 foes, the others can kill with weapons that help farm like slashing to get more body parts for nekros or a stat stick for khora

Most guides out there don't utilise the 4 frames in this video as they all work together really well to make it as fast and efficient as possible. Ofc you can farm toroids solo or any other method you want but this was the fastest way to do it
Yeah its just the same method for years, in this video he just combining all the "how to" into a squad run, so nothing really new
Why many people think this is new because people tend to watch then copy/paste it, doesnt really do the vreative way by asking their clanmates "how about we do this or that but combining our warframe abilities to make it even more efficient", yeah very rarely people does "creative grind" as far as I know other than me and my friends and we're from 4 different clans but play only by ourselves
Like combining speedva and zephyr on hydron for easy lvling non AoE weapons, how many people doing this? Almost none
@@bagusprayogo7025 But thats the point of my video to change the way people farm toroids 99% of the time people just do it solo? which isnt a problem but why wouldnt you want to do it more efficiently. The idea behind this is similar to people knowing how to do the end farm. if you say LF endo farm in the recruit chat people immediately know okay we need khora/nidus/2 nekros.
I want people to start actually realise it can be done in a group. im on recruitment often and i barely ever see people asking for a toroid farm

@@WarframeFlo true, but yea sadly people better off solo since there will be no random problem in connection, such host migration for example that can even lead to lost of hours on grind time if the person encounter "the rare bug", if I'm going with squad also I'm better off with my own friends since its also easy to strategize and willing to listen to instructions compared to random people
It's rare now to find even people in high MR that understand how the game works, can't really trust randoms nowadays
Ever found someone that started "can you bring khora/hydroid for this mission with their augment? i need some resources, thx in advance", and once on mission he started to separate himself from the squad so far away and doesnt even come back to use that putting strangledome in the 1st place, and he complained about getting lesser loot after asking "how many u guys got?"
Compared to years ago, these warframe new generation players are mostly dumb, ever heard a legendary 1 struggling on The Jackal? I do
Basically today new players are just racing to get into higher MR as possible and doesnt even try to understand stuffs, and I dunno who gave them influence to do that in the 1st place, pshhh legendary... trying to talk big yet still under 600 hrs, yet what came out from their mouth are all bs, if the stuffs that came out is correct I don't really mind, that means the dude understand and actually learn the game, but sadly nah, I'm better playing with MR10 that understand game mechanics compared to legendary yet olay like MR5

Do not use hydroid for this it is a 100% but khora slash + nekros is just so much better, cause each part of body cut off by slash procs counts as a body for nekros desecrate
plus hydroid's 100% only works if he kills with his fourth and it damage doesn't scale well where as khora just has to be in her cage and can be killed will and slash weapon to get mulit body part that each works on nekros

they do jsut as nekros and khora, but khorakills with slash proccs so nekros can desecrate multiple bodyparts

Istg the reinforcement beacons constantly blow up and I can never get the wanted level up
Hydroids 100% chance is only if his tentecles get the kill. Better to run a second nekros in most cases so that if one nekros doesnt get the bonus loot the other one has a chance to. The only time hydros is key for farming is when you farm growing power
Funny I wanted to farm those to get Baruuk, just got banned for negative plat balanced, it happens to a lot of people and you have to pay DE money even though u'r innocent...

This is nothing new. The meta has been here for quite a while. I mean maybe even since orb valley released. Also there are much harder resources to farm... But at least the video explains it nicely for players who might not know.

Please god ignore any hydroid advice in this video, bring Khora. Solo or in a squad BRING KHORA. Her loot is 100% as well as it chops enemies up into multiple pieces giving nekros more loot to desecrate. "Oh but what about solo? it's still a lower drop chance!!" Khora's KPS (kills per second) is LEAGUES better than Hydroid's, you'll just get more loot objectively.
Clickbait title, typical red arrow thumbnail, asking for likes and subs 12 seconds in, and taking ages to basically say "you go there with the usual loot comp with boosters".
I value my time, otherwise I wouldn't want to farm efficiently. You'd gain in quality if you could respect people's time instead of just trying to juice them up for stats.
