I respect that you don't like the new singles. But remember that TFK has always been mixing all sorts of sounds in their albums. They have always had a couple 'simple' songs in each album to appeal to the mainstream a little bit. So I predict that these two songs released so far are those type of songs. (Which I do still like, just not as much as the other stuff on the album. Example being that Let the sparks fly is a good song, was one of the TEIWWB singles, but it's not nearly as deep and good as Fly on the Wall or Be somebody.) I was lucky enough to catch these guys live at their Grand Rapids Winter Jam spot, and they're honestly one of the best live bands I've seen. Major props to Trevor for the asbolute energy.
Those of you that view TFK as a band that simply makes music may not agree with me here, but here are my thoughts on this new sound. Thousand Foot Krutch is the proof that a band is not their music, but their purpose. I have followed literally all their albums, and each one brings in a new piece of who they are. Not a distant band, but a group of guys who strives to spread their flame and love for their Lord to all they interact with. TFK has never stuck to one genre of music, and I don't blame them, because heart has no single genre. That being said, while Welcome to the Masquerade is my favorite album Musically, I think this album will be my favorite Lyrically.
Bought your guys cd, the end is where we begin, 3 years ago, been listening, finally heard it for the first time this past week, WOW! Keep planting those seeds brothers. Feel like everything yall make is another anthem for me now. SOLDIERS!!!
Bless these band! This is an awesome song on an album that seems to range from Pop Rock and ballads all the way to Hard Rock. Untraveled Road and In My Room are amazing! Absolutely awesome music and truth in lyrics! Keep up the good fight brothers!

When we scream, our lips don't make a sound
We march, with feet on solid ground
We walk, where no one wants to go, on this untraveled road
And I can choose to respect it, or choose to infect it
But once it hits the water, it's too late to be selective
'Cause one voice is enough to make sleeping giants wake up
To make armies put their hands up and watch whole nations stand up
It's one belief, one spark, one faith and one restart
And we can reboot the whole chart before it all falls apart
When we scream, our lips don't make a sound
We march, with feet on solid ground
We walk, where no one wants to go, on this untraveled road
When we scream, our lips don't make a sound
We march with feet on solid ground
We walk, where no one wants to go, on this untraveled road
On this untraveled road
On this untraveled road
Thank you!!
thank you
Thanks

Hold on for a second, if words can be weapons
Then what I say can effect it, they're not just words on a record
And I can choose to respect it, or choose to infect it
But once it hits the water, it's too late to be selective
'Cause one voice is enough to make sleeping giants wake up
To make armies put their hands up and watch whole nations stand up
It's one belief, one spark, one faith and one restart
And we can reboot the whole chart before it all falls apart
So stand up, shout it out, and put 'em in the air if you like it loud
We only got one shot, so let's make it count, it's a take down, nobody can stop us now
Stand up, shout it out, sing it loud, so the world can't drown us out
And before we depart, let's leave a mark 'cause light shines brighter in the dark
When we scream, our lips don't make a sound
We march, with feet on solid ground
We walk, where no one wants to go, on this untraveled road
So hold on for a moment, if we're not scared of opponents
Then with what we have we can own it, we'll just plant the seed and keep growin' it
And when that light shines in the mornin', they'll still be waken' up yawning
But we'll be smilin' like we expected, with sweet victory one method
'Cause one voice is enough to make sleeping giants wake up
To make armies put their hands up and watch whole nations stand up
It's one belief, one spark, one faith and one restart
And we can reboot the whole chart before it all falls apart
So stand up, shout it out, and put 'em in the air if you like it loud

Breaking Benjamin
5 years feels just like yesterday... I remember waiting for the release of this album
I consider this alternative rock. I love this sound. It brings back the 90s and 00's
from 2:34 the guitar tone seems to be similar with LP's Bleed it Out mixed with What I've Done's rhythm.Isnt it? Anyway awesome song better than Born this way.
Yep. A definite 'What I've done' vibe there. Nevertheless a solid song this one. Very powerful.
2:34-3:04 then listen to what I've done :23-:39
UofACats is similar but not equal tfk this song has higher notes
nonix hd jajajaja tienes razon bro!
HOLY SHIT IT DOES just bleed it out slowed down a little but
This song is for God's people the children of the light the children of God the salt of the world and the untraveled road means the secret road that leads to salvation
I was lucky enough to catch these guys live at their Grand Rapids Winter Jam spot, and they're honestly one of the best live bands I've seen. Major props to Trevor for the asbolute energy.

Best music to work out and paint to
Those of you that view TFK as a band that simply makes music may not agree with me here, but here are my thoughts on this new sound.
Well said
Bought your guys cd, the end is where we begin, 3 years ago, been listening, finally heard it for the first time this past week, WOW! Keep planting those seeds brothers. Feel like everything yall make is another anthem for me now. SOLDIERS!!!

AWESOME WITH HEADPHONES!!! MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOU CAN TAKE ON THE WORLD!!!!!
I always listen to this song
Is it just me or does this have a "Bleed it out" vibe to it?
the beginning does a lot i think
looks like guitar during 2:50 has a little bit of what ive done.
i didnt relize that, it does though
yeah its kinda mixed.... bleed it out + what ive done rhythm.
its just because of the guitar pacing so stop comparing to LP
i love both bands :3
