      Quran: A Book of Signs
Besides logic, there exists scientific evidence that God exists. He explained the beginning of the universe over 1400 years ago in the Quran, which was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him); long before modern science discovered them. Scientists have now observed new stars forming out of the remnants of smoke, suggesting the galaxies, stars, planets and other celestial bodies were nothing but a cloud of smoke or a highly dense gaseous mass.
“Then He directed Himself to the Heaven while it was smoke and said to it and to the earth ‘Come [into being] willingly or by compulsion.” [Noble Quran 41:11]
Today, we know, just like a satellite, the moon orbits around the earth and the sun revolves around the center of the galaxy, taking approximately 225 million years to complete one circular orbit. God mentioned orbits of the sun and the moon and the fact each travels with its own motion.
“It is not allowable for the sun to reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, but each, in an orbit, is swimming.” [Noble Quran 36:40]
We may not be able to see and hear God, however, His signs are all over the earth for us to see. Mountains have large underlying roots and only a small part of it shows above the surface. What remains of the structure is buried deep underground.
“Have we not made the earth a resting place, and the mountains as stakes?” [Noble Quran 78:6-7]
The scientific theory of plate tectonics, which was discovered in the late 1960s, tells us mountains act as a balance for the earth, without which the earth will not be firm. This means mountains prevent the earth from shaking.
“He has cast into the earth firmly set mountains, lest it shift with you.” [Noble Quran 16:15]
Likewise, consider how thunderstorm clouds are formed and produce rain, hail and lightning. This has been summarized in the Quran:
“Do you not see that Allah drives clouds? Then He brings them together, then He makes them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within it.” [Noble Quran 24:43]
One of the most interesting discoveries of modern science is in the places where two seas meet. There is a barrier between them, dividing them so each sea has its own salinity, density and temperature. This can be seen in Egypt between the Nile River and Mediterranean Sea, as well as in Canada between the Fraser River and the Georgia Strait, which is an arm of the Pacific Ocean. God mentioned the existence of this barrier:
“And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter. And He placed between them a barrier and a forbidden partition.” [Noble Quran 25:53]
No component of this earth is too small to be significant. Little creatures like bees are signs of the existence of God for us to reflect. Science has revealed bees collects nectar from flowers of different kinds to form honey within its body. God had earlier stated this fact, also highlighting the healing properties of honey.
“And your Lord inspired to the bee, ‘Take for yourself among the mountains, houses, and among the trees and [in] that which they construct. Then eat from all the fruits and follow the ways of your Lord laid down [for you].’ There emerges from their bellies a drink, varying in colours, in which there is a healing for people. Indeed in that is a sign for a people who give thought.” [Noble Quran 16:68-69]
Even modern scientists cannot successfully imitate any of these creations. Why then do we doubt the existence of God?
“DO THEY NOT CONTEMPLATE WITHIN THEMSELVES?” [NOBLE QURAN 30:8]

I was a Muslim from the beginning but I wasn't practising....
It's only after I got inspired by one of my friends and TH-cam videos that I started. Its been a month now.
By the next two days ,InshaAllah I will be starting with hijab. And just with the decision of mine I've started getting sarcasms and bad comments. Its really hurting. I wonder what will the reactions be after I actually start in the next two days. Brothers and sisters, please pray for me, so that I get the strength to ignore all those and stay firm in my decision.

Assalamualaikum. I HAVE BEEN GOING THROUGH THIS FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS NOW. My family are are born Muslims, but me wearing a hijab makes me look "Older, fatter and unwelcoming. Under qualified for hiring. Men will not find you attractive enough to ask you out or marriage". these are just a few of the things my family have said to me. Alhamdulillah I am still wearing it, and while the temptations are coming my way, i pray that Allah keeps making me stronger to withstand them. I love my family, but right now in my life, if anyone of them is too uncomfortable to be near me, or be in public with me, it is their problem, not mind.

Comments from your family brought smile to my face (I don't get angry at ignorant people). You should take them shopping to "help" you choose something slimming ;) Have they seen modest fashion these days? Take them there or online shopping :) About the hiring: As we all perfectly know Rizq with ALLAH which means if I don't get the job it's not meant for me to have ;) I wear a hijab and let me tell you in a work place dominated by non Muslims I got hired right away and they seemed to love me (I also pray at work and very obvious about me being practicing Muslim). Be proud of who you are. Always smile. Everything will fall in place InshaALLAH. All the love to you my sister in Islam. Hang in there it gets better :*

@@kaybia3795 Sister How is it going?
The one who likes you because of your body, will not stay with you after few years if your beauty changes and infact as we age it will. Staying real with the way you look , will clear all the wrong people who don't deserve you out of the way. The one who you inspires you to abandon your Hijab, will not stay with you when you enter your grave.
Not agreeing with ALLAH's rulings is like Saying i don't wanna put petrol inside of the cars tank but instead i wanna put it in the battery. Your car will not operate if you put the acid in the tank and petrol in the battery. correct? So not doing what ALLAH ordered is the same. ALLAH knows what's better for you and doesn't look at the body but instead looks what's inside the heart. So put ALLAH and his orders first sister. May ALLAH give your the power to withstand this. Aamiin

My mother was a little disappointed but was not shocked at all as anyone that knew me personally already knew of my leaning towards Islam at an early age even though I grew up in a Christian family. My Christian parents and extended family are now my best supporters and are the first to proudly share all of the changes I have made in my life. As a teenager, sometimes you just want to be with your friends, but as soon as you change towards Islam. Indeed your used-to-be good friends will go and never come back. Yes, you will feel sad and lonely, but never lose hope and change your faith because of that. It's okey to just have Allah and Quran as your best buddy. Let Allah alone be your decent listener, influencer, adviser, and planner because no one will ever be able to keep track of your life. As Allah will never neglect you even in seconds.

So I never stopped believing in what Allah has chosen for me. Now that I'm much older, I have been blessed with a son, I must show him and teach him that this is the Right Way. I love Allah, I am nothing and have nothing without Him. Please pray for me and my journey back to the Straight Path. This Ramadan is the time I have been granted and blessed to see and observe. remember my old times, i used to be a rebel teen kid who hate my life and didn't care at all. long story short, i was a kid with a disgrace on my face. it happens when i was a senior student, my teacher kind of telling us all muslim student how important it is to wear a hijab and be a positive person. i'm a depressed kid with a suicidal mind but when my teacher talks about akhirah and the end of the day i start crying and begging for forgiveness to Allah. and here i am, not completely perfect and try to wear hijab even everybody was shock and despise me first.

So recently I tried becoming a better Muslim for myself and started watching videos, stories of prophets and other stuff. Then I saw a book named “The secrets divine of Love” which brings us close to Islam. I ordered that online and I got a message that it will arrive soon. My mother saw that message and she was like you have this studies more and you want to read that book. I feel so disappointed and discouraged.
Because instead of supporting me my mother and brother are telling to concentrate on studies. But I am concentrating on studies as well as Islam.

Yes, it hurts very much, if your parents doesn't want you to wear hijab or a beard... But I think they aren't against it in their hearts, they are just against it because they have fear, that their children will not be successfull in this word. They don't think about it, that a muslim is successfull if you practice islam and so on...I think when they are alive they are against it, but when they die they will be happy that their children are good muslims. It's my opinion. But of course all parents are different.

    • @Yous0147
      @Yous0147 8 ปีที่แล้ว +9

+Dina Chan That's basically it. It's usually a more convoluted case, especially so because everyone today has gotten a negative view of people practicing Islam (or religion in general) passionately and sincerely. It's easy to fall under the idea that too much zeal and enthusiasm can blind you from the true deen and give malicious people the ability to control you through your good intentions. That's the biggest fear of a muslim fatherand mother, that the greatest thing in this world, your Islam, leads you to destruction by e.g. suicide bombing. It's the same concerns I've had to tackle, and the best way to do so is as this video states to be pacient, appreciative and understanding albeit firm in your belief as well as aware of anything that might use your good intentions wrongly. I've learned to appreciate my parents apprehensiveness, first of al because they aren't sarcastic nor hurtful about the way they show their concern (which isn't the case for everyone sadly), but secondly and most importantly because they give me a check and make me question everything I do. Is this for Allah swt? Am I doing this because a Sheikh said so? What makes sense and what doesn't? With the help of what I've learned from mister Nouman as well as other Islamic speakers, what does the holy Quran ACTUALLY say about things compared to the general understanding muslims have? My parents good-hearted criticisms lead me further through the path more safely, and although they and I make mistakes, we ask forgiveness from Allah swt for whatever we may be wrong in doing ourselves.

well this happened to me, I am born in a Muslim family and my family follows it really well but I was okay okay, recently same I came across a youtube video and suddenly I felt something very strong in my heart like my faith is calling out for me. before I saw the video, I was kinda addicted to tv shows, I was praying but not with my full attention, my heart often becomes empty as if emptiness is killing me from inside, I thought maybe watching shows might get rid of these feelings but didn't, now I am trying my best to build a good relationship with Allah and I seriously feel inner peace as if nothing can make me sad as long as I pray. my family is really good like they really support me, I told them that I want to wear a burka and they were happy with my decision. Allah always guides us when we are lost in our ways. I hope all people find their way which will lead them to Allah.

I hope we will stop making fun of anyone who is better than us, and that on the contrary we learn from him.
