Darnolds accuracy seemed to falter after he took the hit that took him out for one play.
Yeah, may have been a bit roughed up.
But when we needed him the most. On that one drive. He made every throw, accurately. Which has me really wondering. Jets are the #1 pass defense and have been for years. We couldn't run well. Wasn't a good matchup for us , at all. But we still won.
I was thinking the same thing. I wonder if he had some cracked or bruised ribs. 4:07 in the first quarter.
I can’t believe more sports media people aren’t talking about this his. He took a helmet to the ribs. He’s lucky nothing was broken. Only Peter Schrager on Good Morning Football said anything about how it affected Sam’s accuracy because when Sam came back, he didn’t look the same after.
So that's actually good news because that will be feeling better by week 7

There is NOTHING "wrong" wth our offense, although I DON'T like O'Connel's play selection at times! The Jets have the NUMBER 2 RANKED DEFENSE in the NFL!!! S💟K💟O💟L
@@electriccontrol7680 kind of what I thought, we went up against a good defense…good experience from an AFC opponent to learn from. That Toss fumble and the dumb special teams penalties(all the “more rare” self imposed penalties) all made this closer than it needed to be.
I like the fact that KOC is aggressive with a lead but to continue to throw deep passes at Jefferson when he is covered by a shut down corner doesn’t make any sense to me. I think when that happens it’s best to try something else.
Been saying the same thing Luke. KOC’s philosophy is passing and aggression. I’d rather him have an identity that defines this team.
Expect more short game action against Detroit to open up the deep stuff down field. We might have issues running the ball against Detroit depending on A Jones health. So I'm expecting more short to mid level passes to compensate.
I hope so. we need more of that period. Mcconnell calls too many long winded plays.

Jets had at least 3 big Pi's just cuz he didn't catch them doesn't mean he didn't have a big day
Too many long pass play calls, too much forcing the ball to JJ, it was raining and the Jets have a top 5 defense.

Luke, last year when Cousins went down, we immediately went out and got Dobbs and did not trust our our 53 man cuts and didn’t go the the “back-up/next man up” so I think it’s understandable that fans might mention getting a running back especially given Jones’ history with injury. Granted the QB is a completely different Back up.
Nick Mullens was on IR. If he were healthy they would not have gone and gotten Dobbs. Similarly, if Ty Chandler also goes down then I think the Vikings could go make a move - although even then, it's more likely to be a waiver claim or practice squad poach
@@LockedOnVikings forgot about Mullens being on IR…Plus Hall was concussed too 🤦♂️ . I was totally wrong …I still wish they would’ve just rode it out with Hall. The Dobbs thing was cool for a minute but was never gonna be a long term solution.
The title is rage bait for sure, Jets have one of the best defense. One game where we face some adversity and the fans are acting like the sky is falling. This is ridiculous, as fans people need to do better.

It’s football, and we got an ugly gritty win. Why is the entire fan base acting like the sky is falling? The jets defense hadn’t allowed a first down on an opening drive until the Vikings game.
