Omar Cardona (the guest singer) came in fourth on the last season of The Voice. He is an amazing singer and everything he's done with VoicePlay is worth hearing.
Layne Stein is the beatboxer. yes, they have a bunch of Disney stuff. We Don't Talk About Bruno from the Encanto movie is my favorite of those. That one features Ashley Diane.
Any song of Voiceplay’s is pretty amazing. There are many songs I have never heard of before, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy and appreciate the clear talent these artists showcase. They’ve had a couple changes in the last couple years but Layne (beatboxer), Geoff (bass), and Eli (bald man that rhymes with jelly - short for Elieazar) have been together the longest. Geoff and Layne are original members from 30 years ago! All of their very theatrical videos are just awesome but their ACA top ten series is just a simple recorded video and just as draw dropping! The Little Mermaid, Moana, and We Don’t Talk About Bruno are top notch. Hoist the Colors, The Dragonborn Comes, and My Mother Told Me are very inspiring. I enjoy watching your reactions and look forward to more Voiceplay reactions 😊
Great reaction. Both Voiceplay and Geoff Castelucci (Bass) have alot of awesome videos on their channels. Left to right.... Geoff (Jeff) Castelucci - Bass. Eli (elly) Jacobson - Tenor/Rock Tenor. Omar Cardona - Tenor/Guest. Cesar De La Rosa - Baritone/Tenor. Layne Stein - Vocal Percussion/Baritone. Voiceplay is not afraid to go out of the box when it comes to music. They will and have done just about every genre. Opera, Game themes, Rock, Country, etc. Their latest video they did Metallica. Nicknamed Metallicapella. Nothing Else Matters. Geoff latest is Till Then by the Mills Brothers. His wife makes 2 cameos in that one. Beginning and end. She's the Production Manager for both Geoff and Voiceplay. Welcome to the rabbit hole.
They are stellar. "Unchained Melody," "It Ain't Me," "Halo Theme," "Hoist the Colours, "We Don't Talk About Bruno," and "Superstition" will give you a nice sampling.
That’s kind of how we all feel at the end of every Voiceplay song. I want some more!!! Your kids are gonna love the Disney pieces. Little Mermaid Medley is wonderful! Great reaction, “Dad!”
Geoff Castellucci is the bass, and you probably want to check his personal channel, too. Listen to "Ain't No Sunshine" or "16 Tons" (anything, really, it's all good) and you'll have a better sense of his voice - all 5 octaves of it. Lots of Disney and Disney medleys, and they're all great. Moana, Little Mermaid, We Don't Talk About Bruno, Hoist the Colors - what ever catches your eye, it's all incredible. All the guys spent time working for Disney or Universal - (they're based in Orlando) and they have the love of theatrics, the discipline and detail orientation you'd expect from that.
Warriors was made in a warehouse, this is an abandone school. They talk about Warriors being the prequel to Dream On. They lost two members but gained two more. Same kind of apocalyptic makeup and costuming. Great reaction!! Check out their cover of I Can't Make You Love Me. Completely different vibe!
I like the pauses to emphasize something that stands out to you. Sometimes someone will do that with something I didn't notice and you can't NOT hear it when you listen to it again.
Thanks for your reaction! I am now a new subscriber looking foward to more Voice Play reactions from you. Voice Play is a group from Orlando Florida and all the members and most of their featured guest have all worked as performers for Universal and/or Disney theme parks so their Disney covers are the best around. You will definitely want to check out their Disney covers of "Little Mermaid Medley", "We Don't Talk About Bruno", and "Hoist The Colours" with your kids- they will love them!
Please check out VoicePlay’s “Wicked.” Geoff Castellucci just released “Sound of Silence” that is unlike any version ever done. His version of “High and Dry” is fantastic and really shows his vocal range, which is 5+ octaves.
Great reaction Voiceplay have rock, Disney, pop, gaming song … they are so versatile I mean they can sing anything … I recommend you voiceplay halo theme ( watch until end because it s explain why they doing this song )
Voice Play are known as The Theater Kids of a capella. They can do any any genre of music. Please do a reaction video of Voice Plays newest cover...In My Room...it is amazing. Thank you so much for a great reaction to Voice Play
Great reaction! I'd love to see you check out another acapella group (friends with VP), Home Free! They competed on the same season of The Sing-Off and while they do a lot of country, they do all genres from time to time. While most people seem to start with their cover of "Man of Constant Sorrow" a good choice to get to know the members of the group is "Workin for a Livin", a cover of the Huey Lewis and the News song, as it includes their names and really shows off some of their individual skill sets.
VoicePlay likes you reactors and never blocks or makes it difficult. You can feel free to show full video. And Geoff called this one Warriors 2 but Warriors was 3 yrs ago and this one last year. Check out Metallica's Nothing Else Matterss.
Exactly. Their independent and don't block anything. They do all aspects of the videos themselves except makeup, cameras and audio mix. They said they make these videos for everyone to see and enjoy. The more people that see them the more their name gets around and then the more their videos get watched. No matter who is showing them. They actually encourage people to share their videos. These are great guys in front of and behind the cameras.
There’s an Indonesian artist named Vanny Vabiola that is absolutely amazing. If you have time check out her cover of “Easy on me”. She puts her own spin and emotion on it, it’s really special. Great reaction.

Omar Cardona was recently on The Voice, being in the UK I've no idea how he got on.
Their most recent release is Metallica's Nothing Else Matters! Everything they've done is amazing. The same is true for Geoff's solo channel.
They are stellar. "Unchained Melody," "It Ain't Me," "Halo Theme," "Hoist the Colours, "We Don't Talk About Bruno," and "Superstition" will give you a nice sampling.

That's the best compliment a song could get: when it ends, you want more! Really great reaction. I loved this!

Yes, this considered the followup to Warriors.
