This is a goto base design for me. I think it's one of the best bases out there... plenty of room for improvements still... but I think this is pretty strong!
All my bases are small and take me hours... This is a big build and must have taken forever! Even using creative mode. Keep it up. I love big builds. Plus, I'm enjoying your series. Im so glad I found your channel! Can I make a request? You’ve done quite a few big builds. How about a little cupcake build. What's the smallest base you can make that will withstand a day 70 horde night?
Thank you for the encouragement! Big base builds do take a long time. I didn't time this one, but if i had to guess it was about 1-2 hours. I'm glad your enjoying the series. I actually am having a lot of fun with it, using the "fans/watchers" suggestions. You want to see a small base... I'll see what I can do, it's out of my norm, but I will try!
I would replace the top blocks, with the ramp block. They love to get hung up at the top of the laddes. I feel like the ramp on it's side, would work better. Also, I'd be using AP rounds for extra punch. By this point in the game, I'd have 2 auto turrets facing the ladders to help.
I 100% agree! There's a whole lot that i could have added, but i try to make myself weaker so that I'm not super OP... I enjoy the struggle lol. By day 100, you should be able to have turrets, robo turrets, more dart traps, and better weapons. (I used level 3 everything). And I know i didn't show it, but I have the bare MINIMUM of perk points assigned. But I love every struggle! I hope it was enjoyable to watch!

I used to competitivly play rainbow 6... then I got old, aim and reaction time started slowing down... then I started to get destroyed by little kids who would tell me to uninstall and go play minecraft lol... Me after getting smack talked: "Ya know what lil guy, at this point, I'm just playing for fun. If you not enjoying playing, your doing it wrong!" Them: "shut up and uninstall!" Ya just gotta laugh lol
Do you think if your playing multiplayer with friends, if you made multiple of these in a general area that it separate zombies in groups? Square-like area 4 for 1 or 2 ppl each.
@raven2263 the way I understand it: the amount of zombies that spawn in depends on the max zombie number in the settings menu before you play. The most you can have (without mods) is 64. However, that number (64) is PER PLAYER on the server. So if you built them far enough away from each other (outside of draw distance (which is about 100-150 blocks depending on your pc)) your only going to get a max of 64 per horde wave, per base (if you play 1 base per person). If you built them close together, (playing with the 64 zombie max) 2 players would have to deal with 128 zombies per horde wave. Does that make any sense? Or did I just confuse you, and myself? Lol
@grumpynomad3551 I've done this before too... 1 base playthroughs are fun. The ONLY downside, is my first base is usually near rekt. Sometimes I just can't deal with his attitude lol
Yeah, I've had a few comments on that on previous videos... I've made a decision, I'm either no longer going to use the term step-by-step, guide, or how-to, or I'm going to actually learn to do a proper guide! It's frustrating to even me! When making this video, my goal WAS to do a full build guide. That's why I started the video with that... I should have just cut that sentence out. But I always get sidetracked and forget to talk about what I'm doing. Then when I'm editing, I'm sitting there watching an hour of me fumbling around, building... I think actually watching that process would be boring without any cohesive commentary... SMH at myself... I'm still learning. It's not an excuse, but I'm trying to do better. (I even changed the title, so it didn't have the word "guide" in it after it was released). Hopefully you still enjoyed the video. Thanks for being here, and for thefeedback! I really do appreciate it!

I appreciate you answering it, and if its up to me i would like to see more on "how to do it" step by step, but if it takes to much time for you i respect it. ill give you a sub anyway cause the vibe is good.

Tell me what you think, something someone suggested, is to seperatly upload the raw, uncut, build process, at 2x speed, with no commentary/no face, just the build. For people that want to see the whole build. I still have no idea what I'm doing or what people want to see... I'm just playing the game and having fun. And I guess some people like watching, lol. One of these days, I want to play some different games. I'm just having too much fun playing 7 days.
@@RebelOnTheRiver They like watching cause ur doing a good job, so you are on the road to something good if you keep it up i think.. After thinking about it, maybe something like pictures of your end base with the caption of what blocks you are using? I dont know, but it sounds easier then to do a full video. for me as a new player im not that creative yet cause i dont know all the possible ways to set up a fully creative base like you made in this video, but i would like to learn, but its few youtubers that actually show the exact way to do it. Youll figure it out i bet :D
Thanks! I like the idea of using captions of the blocks i use... maybe like pre-build, "In order to build this base you'll need X amount of (Block shape), X amount of other block shape... ect... I appreciate the encouragement! I'm gonna keep at it (and hopefully continue to improve!). I have a bunch of ideas on "new" different styles bases but I have no idea how I'm gonna make them work lol...

My end game base is done on day 3. I upgrade the blocks that’s all. It’s also a storage base.
