Hi Sheila! Neither do I consider myself "computer savvy", but I HAVE heard enough back +forth about translation, so............ The languages that you found listed are for viewers to go to, *per individual viewing, to select their preferred translation (I have to do this for x2 subscriptions, so I' m familiar with this). However, if a creator of videos *doesn't set it up FOR SUBTITLES, a viewer can go into the list of preferred languages, and it will say on the screen, (subtitles are not available/turned-on). It is a 2-part system/arrangement (
You're quite right, Sheila. You need some time to knit your own. Also the little cardigans and bags are going so well for you. That's a good idea to do a pink and white version. ❤
Quite agree Sheila, you must have time for making your own things, as well as relaxing time for other things. I'm the same, I only do these things when I'm in the mood and that's why I knit only for myself and family, othrwise it becomes a chore rather than a pleasure. Still got a few more rows of the Boneyard Shawl which is a Christmas present and dithering over what to cast on next, maybe another Vortex Shawl if I don't change my mind again. Happy weekend to you. Pam.

Hello 👋 Sheila you deserve a rest from big items. Adult cardigans seem to go on forever I knitted my sisters wedding dress 40 years ago and it took me almost 7 months as much as I was proud. I was glad to see the end of the dress enjoy your night xxx
Hi Sheila, I totally agree about the cold, rain+ wind, here in Wales. In our home, when I was growing up We called our meals breakfast, 7/8am. dinner time 12am/1pm. + tea time 4/5pm. Supper time 8/9pm. I'm already wishing it was summer time.😊😅😂 ❤❤❤😂🎉🎉🎉🎉😊❤❤❤
Ah, Sheila, you can’t please everybody , eh? You tried re the sub- titles. Guess the folks will figure it out - good they’re interested , though. Very cold here my heats been on all morning . See you later ❤ x
Checking in Sheila. You're like one of my bingo mates Sharon who's around your age. She knits too and I teased to Sharon about you flying to Seattle to come to our bingo.
Hi Sheila, I think they want you to put subtitles in English, as they may have trouble with your accent, and we in Britain talk at quite fast, I know that when I talk to people, ( I’m Scottish) so I try and slow down, or they just look at me and don’t understand me 😂😂
It’s possible auto translate may not work in older videos. I watch a lot of Korean knitting videos and not all will work with auto translate. But I know a few of them have mentioned they are the ones who have to do the translating. Perhaps there’s a tutorial out there that would walk you through how to use subtitles in your videos. I did try with this video and I was able to use auto translate in various languages. Maybe the people need to update the app too.
Hello Sheila, what a funny story about how your hair got wet! 🤣🌧 Sammy is still warming his backside! Don't forget, Sheila, you also speak Geordie! Hope you're feeling fit as a lop! Maybe you can teach us some more Geordie sayings. Take care 🇺🇲❤🇬🇧
I support you in knitting for leisure for a while!!! Making things for orders takes the FUN out (though, *for a while, the $$ is nice.). "Enjoy". ❤
Hi Sheila I live in the north west near manchester. I love your accent its my favourite.x

You deserve a rest Sheila and to do what you want. Keep warm and toasty. Snow lying here and very cold.
You should be able to enjoy what you normally do and take a time out to do it. 😂 Sammy is watching us.
