You go to so many games you were bound to see a dull match eventually. The film "Looking for Eric" features FCUM and a certain Eric Cantona. Liked the Aussie bloke. I wonder if there are league clubs around which are the result of a split or protest.

I guess it's not only about the Glazers, it's about modern football in general as well, and FCUM is giving the longtime ManUtd fans and all Mancunians who dislike today's top-flight football an opportunity to meet like-minded people and to have a good time at Broadhurst Park.
The AFC Wimbledon story is even more important, taking a club from its home city to another against the will of the fans. They made it back into the league and long may they continue to inspire other clubs who have fallen out like Bury.
There is something very punk rock if you like about saying "we're not happy with the status quo at our club, so we're going to create one of our own entirely from scratch." Premier League is great for TV, but I can't see myself going to "big" football in person again.

Absolutely cracking watch, I thought FC united had folded years ago and merged into Salford city. Great to see what they have become, look really well ran.
There’s a brilliant video of FC fans constantly singing at Halifax. Great use of anarchy in the uk. I am not a MUFC fan at all; but the glazers have stolen some of soul of English football with their business model.
Brilliant club are FC United I did a football manager save with them last season Really like the fact the fans of Manchester United coming together to create such a likeable club in protest against the Glazers taking over their club A concept that seems so alien to many has brought so many together
I'm a boro fan and I remember us getting man united away in the cup and tickets were £46. The next home game we had a banner that said "working class game" "stop football gr££d" so I hope fcum make the third round and we're able to get them
Great content! You have to admire their ethos even if you're not anyway affiliated to Manchester United. Unreal facilities for their level, massive fan base and should at least be in the league above but they're not, it's a decent day/evening there as an away fan, good beer and three points!
While the odds of it happening are pretty low, it would be cool if FC United of Manchester were to end up meeting Manchester United in the FA Cup. I know it would take a good run on FC United's side and a lucky draw, but it'd be a cool moment to see. Gotta respect the die hard fans passion to not support the Glaser ownership. The abbreviation (FCUM) is almost like a snide way to say "f*ck 'em" to Man. United.😁
Very good video thanks to you Sam as it proves that football is really about the people and the community and if you got every person who has sincerity then all works out good hey
I'm a Millwall fan since 1973 but lived in Manchester for 12 years and witnessed the birth of this fantastic community team, and went along if and when I have time. I see them a few times annually and love it! My older daughters live nearby and love the team and everything it stands for. Real fans, real grass roots football, democratic values, where it's about friends, community, belonging, unlike everything that Glazer United stands for (and the mugs who support that nonsense). All power to FC United!
another good one sam..i like the guy that commented about premier stadiums being souless thinking of going to see fc at some point..folks correct me if im wrong but didnt sky want to show a fc cup game a few years ago and fc told them no???
FC United of Manchester call themselves FC United, the Reds or the Rebel Reds. They now have their own ground as well. I'm so glad you're back covering non-league of England. I have recently made some non-league videos on my channels and have done some groundhopping due to you. I will be leaving Derby in a few weeks which is making me a bit sad as I'll leave my club and the surrounding non-league clubs I've come to adore over recent seasons but I am going to Newcastle University and potentially thinking of going to see some non-league games in the North East so I will hopefully meet you one day when you come down to Newcastle.
Get down to hartlepool. Its league 2 but the fans are great. Blyth spartans, gateshead, spennymoor town, Darlington are probably the best non league clubs in the NE to go to
@@samuelpinder1215 Yeah there's a non league society at the uni so I was thinking of going to wherever they are. I have covered all those clubs on my channel and I know a fan of Darlington. Hartlepool is an interesting shout I'll see if Derby ever play them if I could get down there

I love this motto (I won't say 'slogan' because that sounds like some sort of marketing), "Making friends, not millionaires". Just imagine them entering the EFL one day, maybe League Two or League One, a bit like AFC Wimbledon...followed by attendances of 5,000 or 10,000 in an expanded Broadhurst Park. This would be awesome. If you ask me, these two corporations from Manchester playing in the Premiership, run by billionaires from the US (the Glazers) or from the Middle East (City), don't deserve to be supported in any way. Aside from FC United, I've always preferred the clubs in the outskirts of Manchester such as Oldham Athletic or Stockport County, not least because of their home stadiums, Boundary Park and Edgeley Park, which are so lovely and still spread the charm of classic English (or British) football grounds. Best regards from Germany and all the best for FCUM.
I hope the players see the passion associated with Manchester United, hopefully someday we get to see FC United of Manchester vs Manchester United in an FA Cup Tie...would be something
It was about time I saw a video on FC! Even though I am a United fan, the Glazers are not my cup of tea and I want them out as much as the next person. Any chance of a go at AFC Liverpool? They have a similar background to FC United (to protest the American ownership of Liverpool FC, and also for fans who were priced out of the Premier League)
You should come to Scarborough for a game! Scarborough Athletic are currently in Vanarama National League North. Just got promoted from the league where FCUM are. A fan owned club as well with great atmosphere, lovely fans and just opened a huge bar! I would be able to show you around the ground at a game and maybe even get the chairman talk to you!
i'm in Oldham, watched your video on the latics yesterday, but actually live closer to this ground than Boundary Park, drove past yesterday. in fact im starting to realize im surrounded by football grounds.
I've been a Manchester United fan for 35 years. One of the things I hated when the Glazers took over was they took out a loan to bye the club, then put the loan in the clubs name and we are still paying for it. The Glazers only recently put money into the club and that was to pay the UEFA fine for this collapsed Super League they tried to force us into. Every other penny put into the club has been more loans put in the clubs name. Yet they have taken over £2 billion from the club. Also Old Trafford is falling down and has not had any money invested in it yet to save it. FC United stadium is in a lot better condition. Before the Glazers took over the club was run by people who loved the club, people who had a passion for the club and its fans. We didn't owe a penny to anyone. The club was debt free. We only spent what we made. That was the clubs rule. We spent a lot because we were the top side in the 90s and we made a lot of money because of it. Think about it in the 90s before the Glazers took over we dominated English football. Pretty much every season we won something. Their were one or two where we didn't. But you think about it in the 1990s Manchester United won the Premier League (6 times). The FA Cup. The League Cup. The Charity Shield. The Champions League. The old European Cup winners cup. The European Super Cup. The World Club Cup. I remember when Manchester Cities owners first bought the club and they tried to sign a player called Ronaldinho. He had never heard of Manchester City. When he was told a club from Manchester was interested in him he said Manchester United. When he was told no it was Manchester City he asked who they were. He was later told Manchester United were also interested in him. He turned around and told Manchester City he would only sign for them if he was given £500000 a week tax free and bonuses. He turned around and Told Manchester United he would sign for them for £500000 per week and he would pay the taxes on it and don't worry about the bonuses and at the time every club in the world including Real Madrid wanted to sign him
I'm gonna go to Manchester for the first time some time between january and april next year. I'm gonna plan the trip so I get to see both man utd and fc united.
Please come to Liversedge ground Clayborn, 2 back to back promotions to get into same league as FCUoM, we have them at home 27th Sept, we have great attendances for our level
This is the club old Trafford fc club should support, good video Sam. Well done to rangers on getting to UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE group stage in 2022 and 2023 season Glazers in i say, the Manchester United fans should be thanking the Glazers.
tbh im a blue.. but have noticed FC Utd climb the leagues year after year.. there is just something about grassroots football, some people & fans there at FC utd have seen it from the beginning and to be where they are now is quite an achievement in the time they have been around ! Got to say grats & good luck..
Time for you to get down to another fan owned club Banbury United, the team that won the Southern league premier Division central by an astonishing 23 points last season and currently sit second in The National League North
As someone’s who lives in the area they built the stadium for F.C united of Manchester, they was able to build it there because they said it was for the community but no body asked for it and it’s definitely not for the community, wished they would have built it somewhere else.
Did they mention that the old board members that set up the club used the money and loans from charities on themselves, the club is now debt ridden and the Manchester city council are owned a lot of money, also the people of Moston did not want them and voted against them moving to Broadhurst park, but they did the dirty on them and the council was lied too about Moston youth team involvement

Absolutely cracking watch, I thought FC united had folded years ago and merged into Salford city. Great to see what they have become, look really well ran.
Salford have been bankrolled by ex Manchester United players. Very different to FCUM
I’ve been to Broadhurst Park on 2 occasions, FCUoM is a smashing club with a football league standard ground.
I just love your videos! Great work!
The glazers didn’t buy Man Utd. They borrowed money against Utd thus putting the club in debt. At no time did they use their own money.
There’s a brilliant video of FC fans constantly singing at Halifax.
Great use of anarchy in the uk.
I am not a MUFC fan at all; but the glazers have stolen some of soul of English football with their business model.
As always, Brilliant video! Seriously hope your subscriber numbers rise, love your content please keep doing what your doing! Legend
Fantastic interview @thestart 👏 yer a dab'hawn at this video malarky, you've achieved so so much. Thanks for what you do , 😉.
outstanding job mate, new sub from mexico wish i make it to work in english football one day, so much pasion
Brilliant club are FC United
I did a football manager save with them last season
Really like the fact the fans of Manchester United coming together to create such a likeable club in protest against the Glazers taking over their club
A concept that seems so alien to many has brought so many together
👀
I'm a boro fan and I remember us getting man united away in the cup and tickets were £46. The next home game we had a banner that said "working class game" "stop football gr££d" so I hope fcum make the third round and we're able to get them
One of my favourite away grounds when Boston have played. Friendly fans. Super club .. it’s an awesome day out . 👍🏻👍🏻
just stumbled on your profile and proper good content, lad. deffo subscribing, keep up the good work
Great content! You have to admire their ethos even if you're not anyway affiliated to Manchester United. Unreal facilities for their level, massive fan base and should at least be in the league above but they're not, it's a decent day/evening there as an away fan, good beer and three points!
My son in law designed the badge, was a season ticket holder at Man Utd but give up in 2005
That's great, but most of FCUM fans still support Man United right?
While the odds of it happening are pretty low, it would be cool if FC United of Manchester were to end up meeting Manchester United in the FA Cup. I know it would take a good run on FC United's side and a lucky draw, but it'd be a cool moment to see.
Gotta respect the die hard fans passion to not support the Glaser ownership. The abbreviation (FCUM) is almost like a snide way to say "f*ck 'em" to Man. United.😁
Wouldn’t go if it was at OT, not a penny more.
Another fact, the blessed by some Fergie, forbid any player at any level to go anywhere near FCUM! Only Ole Gunnar disobeyed.
Love this, another great video!
UTT
another good one sam..i like the guy that commented about premier stadiums being souless thinking of going to see fc at some point..folks correct me if im wrong but didnt sky want to show a fc cup game a few years ago and fc told them no???
FC United of Manchester call themselves FC United, the Reds or the Rebel Reds. They now have their own ground as well. I'm so glad you're back covering non-league of England. I have recently made some non-league videos on my channels and have done some groundhopping due to you. I will be leaving Derby in a few weeks which is making me a bit sad as I'll leave my club and the surrounding non-league clubs I've come to adore over recent seasons but I am going to Newcastle University and potentially thinking of going to see some non-league games in the North East so I will hopefully meet you one day when you come down to Newcastle.
Once a Ram always a Ram
Get down to hartlepool. Its league 2 but the fans are great. Blyth spartans, gateshead, spennymoor town, Darlington are probably the best non league clubs in the NE to go to
@@indiekiddrugpatrol3117 Exactly.
@@samuelpinder1215 Yeah there's a non league society at the uni so I was thinking of going to wherever they are. I have covered all those clubs on my channel and I know a fan of Darlington. Hartlepool is an interesting shout I'll see if Derby ever play them if I could get down there
@@ramsfanyt8227 newcastle university have their own non league team as well. Hartlepool wont go up to league 1 so you might have to hope for fa cup 2nd round
I think I found my favourite non-league team.
Love Football, hate the money!
I was going too the Chelsea matches before Russianmoney. I Travel from sweden. Now i dont really care. Sad but true.
What happens to the club if the glazers go
It's the cleverest acronym I've seen....FCUM.......fuck 'um. Love it, So Manchester.
Great vid ,mate , love how ordinary people ,can support a real football team again , GLAZIERS OUT ........
Crazy that this is on ur channel I live like 5 mins away from there😂
You should come to Scarborough for a game! Scarborough Athletic are currently in Vanarama National League North. Just got promoted from the league where FCUM are. A fan owned club as well with great atmosphere, lovely fans and just opened a huge bar! I would be able to show you around the ground at a game and maybe even get the chairman talk to you!
Nice video mate!
7:08 Australia for a game? Fair.
Hot Vimto..... why....... good bit of football knoledge, keep up the good work and research.
Mufc played at Maine road mcfc for quite some time after the war due to bomb damage to OT
i'm in Oldham, watched your video on the latics yesterday, but actually live closer to this ground than Boundary Park, drove past yesterday. in fact im starting to realize im surrounded by football grounds.
i remember watching that game vs Benfica! all the best for FCUM!! 🦅🔴⚪
This guy deserves more subs
Just love those little lads....I was their age when I was in the Stretford End.
It’s crazy to think that FC United have been around longer than some teenagers! Makes me feel old as I was a teenager when they formed 😫
That's how fast the time flies mate
I’d love a video on AFC Liverpool, a splinter club from Liverpool very much like FC United.
Fantastic how the fans started up this club and with succes.
Please come to Liversedge ground Clayborn, 2 back to back promotions to get into same league as FCUoM, we have them at home 27th Sept, we have great attendances for our level
Really nice stadium impressed with it -fair play to everyone at fc united
Nailed it again my son 👏
This is the club old Trafford fc club should support, good video Sam. Well done to rangers on getting to UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE group stage in 2022 and 2023 season
Glazers in i say, the Manchester United fans should be thanking the Glazers.
Great video. Nice stadium.
tbh im a blue.. but have noticed FC Utd climb the leagues year after year.. there is just something about grassroots football, some people & fans there at FC utd have seen it from the beginning and to be where they are now is quite an achievement in the time they have been around !
Got to say grats & good luck..
You should visit bury again because a lot has happend since you visited
1:08 more into Manchester?
Time for you to get down to another fan owned club Banbury United, the team that won the Southern league premier Division central by an astonishing 23 points last season and currently sit second in The National League North
As someone’s who lives in the area they built the stadium for F.C united of Manchester, they was able to build it there because they said it was for the community but no body asked for it and it’s definitely not for the community, wished they would have built it somewhere else.
what about the astroturf used by local kids and the links with Moston Juniors? That's not community engagement?
They should have called themselves Newton Heath and wore the green and gold
Did they mention that the old board members that set up the club used the money and loans from charities on themselves,
the club is now debt ridden and the Manchester city council are owned a lot of money, also the people of Moston did not want them and voted against them moving to Broadhurst park, but they did the dirty on them and the council was lied too about Moston youth team involvement
I'm suprised any one from Moston found time to stop drinking or taking drugs to complain. ....utter shite hole ...
