When everyone and their momma started wearing weaves (Brazilian bundles) that's when the good yaki textures became obsolete. They definitely looked better. Way better !

@@guinnmyahslaysstaymad she’s very beautiful but they used FaceApp filters (I recognize cause every girl on social media looks similar to that after filter) when showing the shots. I hate that cause she’s perfect. She looks almost the same as the filter but it still bothers me to see they had to do that.

I love that you aren't afraid to leave more hair out around the perimeters because it matters to natural look of the style. It is so difficult to get stylist to leave out more hair. It's like there's an unwritten law that they don't want to break no matter what you, the client, are requesting. Let's normalize more leave out in 2023. It matters! 🙌👏❤🥰

Leave out are more natural. I prefer them than wigs
Depending on the hair and such, the natural hair might need to be straightened. I’ve heard many people complain about too much hair because they prefer low maintenance and no heat damage. I guess it just depends on how consistent they have to be with blending their hair, I’d say it’s 50/50 of people who want a huge leave out nd people who want a little bit of leave out
I think I'd prefer minimal leave out because it would be too much maintenance and manipulation for every additional hairs left out. I do agree that more leave out renders a more natural look, but it can come at a cost with maintenance of the leave out.
This is so beautiful! It takes me back to when we used the pressing comb on the kitchen stove and the whole house smelled like burnt hair. 😂 We we’re so glad when the electric comb came out and we could use it in the bathroom, outside on the porch or anywhere.

Very nice. I’m getting tired of the wigs and sew ins are just so much more natural looking. I generally do my own hair and can single braid like a champ but for some reason have never gotten the hang of French braids.

She looks amazing🤩. I can never find a stylist to do my hair that’s good. No matter how much I pay no matter how many times I ask I always have track showing I can never put it up in a ponytail. It’s always lumpy or something is wrong. I spend money on my bundles for me to always look unkept 😩. I miss the days when Stylist cared about every client and would never let you leave their chair looking crazy.

I like what you said about our natural hair. I agree I like seeing black woman with more natural proctective hairstyles than wearing wigs. I love seeing braids and wigs though. I only do braids because and mom usally does them. oh and crochet somtimes she will do crochets.
