Nargis seems to have a special gift. She understands Muhammed and his brother without official sign language. I think Nargis and Muhammed were meant to be together. Muhammed has a big heart and accepts Nargis children as his own.
I think they are married in real life...and its their own children.

Why would they stage that abuse. Most Nomads don't abuse their children, they let them roam freely. They also take in orphans and raise them as their own. Some are ignorant and only want boys!
Also, many Nomads are into "white Marriage" as they call it. Like common law in western countries. Marrying a divorcee or widow usually means they don't need a dowry, especially if the man is poor.
Nargis ex husband told her to take the kids instead of getting her dowry, she married him at 15 or 16 so she was a virgin and entitled to a dowry. But the father can take the kids when they are 7, he didn't want them because they were girls and blame the wife for having girls. They do that in India too!
Seems the deafness is very hereditary as his brother's kids are deaf so, high chance of Muhammed's children being deaf. Nargis had 3 girls all hearing!
