    If you own an E39 or E46 in the year 2020 and is still impressed with the quality of the car, this video shows the world where those machines come from. Created by people passionate about car making. Today’s BMW cars? Is just so-so. 20 years ago was the golden age of BMW.

    Had a 2002 540i sedan. All black with 6-speed manual and sport package. Loved the car but was sadly written off in 2015 from an accident. But in Sept 2019 I got back in a E39...
    A 2003 M5 😁

    I have an E39 2001 525d Sedan, tuned to 195hp/430Nm. it's a non-M package, but with manual and sport seats with widescreen navigation. I just love that car, it's so much fun driving it. The most reliable car I've ever had, and I've had a Porsche 944S and Volvo 960 facelift. But this BMW after like 8000km hasn't used a single drop of oil or any other fluid with already 308000km on the clock, even after the tune. And I don't always drive it gently (only when warm ofc) It pulls well on full throttle too. it's miraculous. Not gonna lie I had to invest some money into it when I first bought it. But that's just me being a perfectionist and wanting everything to be new/perfect.

    I find it ironically sad that the part where they talk about BMW styling and design themes features Chris Bangle....the guy who ruined BMW design forever! Compare today's linup with that of 2000, they are like bloated caricatures of their former selves.......ah well guess I'll have to keep my E39 forever!!

    • @forzaferrari9912
      @forzaferrari9912 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's your opinion and I respect it. But I really appreciate Bangle's design. Mainly because he was fearless with his controversial ideas to push them through no matter what people and press would say. I feel kinda satisfied when people get mad about car looks :P

      you realize bangle was head of design when the E39 was made.

    • @soundseeker63
      @soundseeker63 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@satvikarora5813 He may have been at BMW while the E39 was in production but he had nothing to do with the design of it.

    The newer ones with the huge buck teeth grilles are 🤮🤮🤮 so sad to see them give in to this Audi/Lexus fad. It is not going to be remembered fondly. Hoping my E90 lasts until this fad is over and I can get a new one.
