My first truck was a coffin sleeper 9670 International cab over with the great pumpkin in 1991. I’ve been dreaming of rolling like that for 30 years. It’s probably no big deal for you, just a way life. Mama said she won’t come back out unless we rolling like that. Is anyone out there to help me get one besides the traditional bank loan. Dang that’s a nice truck I have a 1981 peterbilt 359 that’s putting out about 500 horse And me and my dad have hauled more than 95thousand pounds of corn it just has a little sleeper tho but urs is practically a rv (super nice)
Congratulations 🍾🎊🎉🎈! Can you park at all truck stops! Or do you have to park at Walmart Sometimes? Any problems with picking up and delivering at customers?
How much can you legally haul with this? Curious because I am going into driving and I want an ARI but how much of a loss would I be taking as far as the amount of weight I can haul.
Great truck my brother. I dream of getting one of these trucks and I will thank you for the video. How much would financing one of these trucks cost for a down payment and monthly payment?
I drive on average around 68-70 mph, just last month I conducted my own little experiment, pulled a ton of random loads and my average fuel mileage for that 10k miles was 7.2mpg. I'm very happy with it
Well now I'm back to hauling windmill blades, I'm normally around 250 feet long. Fuel mileage with my rgn was around 7mpg but with blades I'm around 4 lol

@@rarebreed6933 for real I don't understand what the obsession is with hauling heavy ass loads. all it does is wear down your equipment exponentially faster. I guess they love them repair bills.
Beautiful sir. May I ask, what kind of freight do you pull which allows you to make these payments and keep up, plus make good money for yourself in your business? I've been thinking about the ARI Legacy for a while now, but have always pulled either dry van or reefer in my 20 years. Can one continue with that or do you need flatbeds or step decks? What about backing/parking? Thanks!
I'm leased to Southern Pride, all we haul is aircraft parts and engines. Backing isn't terrible but i barely fit in any truckstop parking spots, I'm normally about 10-12 feet longer than the average truck and thats pulling a 48 foot trailer. There are companies out there you can pull vans with these, but you have to make sure its with the right company pulling the right types of frieght as these trucks are fairly heavy. I can only pull about 35k lbs with my setup and some people are alot heavier than me. And also pulling the right frieght that pays well, the notes on these trucks are high, and insurance is high. I've seen forwardair using them, household movers, exotic car haulers, anything that pays well and is always light frieght.
@@diegoaquino6449 well originally I had around 310k in it, I'm right at about 350k now, the truck now is bigger now than what it was, videos coming soon
I haul windmill blades, 1 piece at a time, so permits to haul change by the state. My last load I was around 113k but that was about as heavy as I'd go on this setup. It's going to the shop Monday to get a pusher axle installed so I'll have update videos afterwards
@@rarebreed6933 well I haul usually containers & even when I haul 20ft in extended axles, im very close to the 80k. Now I can imagine how you feel but you are right. Some companies do carry permits to haul higher loads
@@franktorres3135 i gotcha, I see alot of the Atlas boys that have them, are you an O/O now? These things can be tough to keep up with if you have the wrong mindframe. Originally setup it was 310k but I've recently got some custom work done to it, stretched the frame, added another axle and more custom work so I'm right at $350k as of now and I'm not done with it
