This is something I have been struggle with lately is doubting that I am saved. I always get conviction when I do something wrong like cussing. Which God has helped me stop a lot it’s only when I get really upset. Then I think about my past sometimes or when I get upset at someone. I even worry that I may be teaching people wrong. I feel that I don’t have a strong prayer life. Just a struggle right now. But I feel bad and I know all of this. However, I do pray to him when I feel this way and seek his word to find my answers. And one prayer I been playing is Mark 9:24 “I do believe help my unbelief.” CSB

We have been there before my friend. So many times and even to this day I struggle with the thoughts of not doing enough, or struggling to pray or read the word but all of this is a sign that the desire and power is there which comes from God! Philippians 2:13. Don’t be upset and don’t condemn yourself Romans 8:1. Love Jesus and know that it is by faith that you are saved not by the way you follow the law or read the word Ephesians 2:8-10. You’re saved by faith in Christ not by works so remind yourself of that everytime you feel condemned or too sinful or feel like you can’t be saved because of it. Remember our thoughts are not his thoughts . Man’s thoughts will always be against Gods. There’s a reason why there’s depression and anxiety. Doubt , fear , etc . God says that he does not give us the spirit of fear but a sound mind . Speak to him . Don’t pray any special prayer . The more I mess up , the more honest I have to be . Things I don’t want to speak out or to even acknowledge about myself, but it ends up being the best thing to say and do. He knows everything about us. He just wants us to o acknowledge him through them. To run to him for everything. We are always learning . Having a season , growing in Christ. Stay in the word . And trust in his word and promises over what the enemy is attacking you wit h. He loves you more than you’ll ever know . Cry out everything. And wait on the lord , but in the meantime, praise him . Follow Christ . Seek his kingdom and his righteousness and everything will follow.
I wish I could like this video ten times. I have been struggling with being caught up in discractions and fulfilling my mind with them. I had also trouble praying and even talking with God because I would always get lost or distracted during prayer or being in His presence! This video helped me realized I need to meditate on the word of God and how much He loves me and how much His grace is for us!!!!

Keep seeking Him and submit to His plan. When I first came to Jesus I had no idea what I was doing with my life and I was 18 (I also thought military for a little bit) but I just kept praying for Gods will to be done and I didn't know what that was. Take it slow, work a job and find Gods plan by praying continually and doing what the written word says today. And you'll see Gods direction in your life. They are a lie and need to be dealt with by going to the word and replacing the lies with the truth. 2 Corinthians 10:5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. Keep reading the word and keep praying, God will renew and change you mind and you’ll see that you are saved and loved by God!
I have been a Christian for a few decades. I have always struggled with doubt. But reading 1 John always encourages me during those times. Lately, so do the Psalms. The psalmists struggled, too! Everyone does! Continue believing the gospel daily, reading the Word, praying in faith, and fellowshipping with believers. Most of all, think of Christ and how He died for you, and set your heart to love Him more and more. Sin is deceitful and costly, I know. It drives us to doubt. But we are transformed to look more by Jesus day by day, year by year, and some things are a slow process but it’s all worth it. I can focus on how I still struggle with some sins and get faint-hearted, or look at all the sins I no longer have and thank God for growth. Even the battle with sin is evidence you are a believer (read Romans 7 and 8).
The moment you believe and trust in what Christ has done for you. You are eternally saved sealed with the Holy Spirit forever. You can’t forfeit your Sonship. His righteousness imputed onto you. You don’t turn from sins to prove your saved or keep you saved. No it was all done away on the cross. Nothing can change that. We should condemn sin and we should live good for the Lord but this is separate from the requirements of salvation and more to do with us being disciples for the kingdom. Salvation is permanent once you believe. End of.

Hi Amy, I’ve struggled with this fear too in the past. I gave my life to Christ when I was 9 years old. I prayed the prayer they told me to and thought that was it. I gave my life to Christ out of fear. Since I grew up in the church, I had this feeling that God had always been a part of my life, yet I was still anxious and depressed. It wasn’t until recently that I found myself in a situation where my only help was God, and I truly realized how much I need a savior, that he showed me several things. One was that, as I waited for his answer to my situation, I was still in fear. That made me realize that there were areas of my life that I wasn’t fully surrendering to Jesus. Jesus told us before he ascended to heaven that he was leaving us his peace. A peace that surpasses all understanding. I didn’t have that peace. So I cried out to Jesus and told him to have my life. I surrendered all of it to him, knowing that if my situation got worse, I would still put my faith in Jesus because I know that this life is not the end. That there is a heaven and that one day Jesus will bring me there. Since then I have had overwhelming peace. My situation has not changed, but I’m no longer anxious and depressed. I believe Jesus will work every situation for the good of those who love him. We are saved by putting our faith in Jesus. Not by the prayers we pray or the works we do. He just needs our surrender. God doesn’t always answer our prayers the way we think he will or the way we think he should, but that’s because he sees the full picture. He knows things we don’t and sometimes the answers to our prayers are “no” or “not yet”. We are told to seek the kingdom of heaven first and all the rest will follow. Keep trusting him and putting your faith in him. I hope this helps and I pray that Jesus comforts you and gives you reassurance of your salvation in him.
Hi Amy :) I think you are worrying way to much. And there is a lot of I's in this message where is God in all of this? "I believe I bore fruit" .. "I used to share" "I don't things I used to" "I don't get convicted anymore". For a matter of fact John tells in in the gospels we can't receive anything unless it is giving to us from heaven. Also Jesus tells us, that remain in Me and I in you and you will bare fruit, you are the branches I am the vine apart from Me you can't do nothing. Also does the bible tells us to be still and know that He is God. :) I am praying for you. But fix your eyes upon Jesus my friend and less on the I's ;) Remember Jesus loves you.

If you are concerned whether you're saved you probably are. You wouldn't care if you weren't. **Romans 8:16**: "The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children." The desire for assurance of salvation can be a sign of the Holy Spirit's presence in your life

I don’t like saying this but i feel bipolar when i sin or feel conviction but It feels and makes me question why does God let me live but I think we forget there have been worse and horrible people between the time of the old and New Testament that have done way worse then we have as people of today and the lord forgives them
We feel remorseful and convicted when we sin. We go to God and pray for forgiveness, God forgives and forgets (holds no record of wrong 1 Corinthians 13:5) and we move forward. It doesn't mean that we persist in sin but we turn and look to be more holy (like Jesus). Don't feel condemned (Romans 8:1), move forward and keep seeking Jesus! Do not compare just look to Jesus, for forgiveness, love, grace and He will always be there! Amen!
I think I could connect more if there was more Bible verses in context, also was this KJV, because the other Bible translations take out verses like Matthew 18:11, Matthew 17:21 etc
Those thoughts are not from God. As you continue to renew your mind (Romans 12:1-2) you will see a change in your thinking. Even though those thoughts come to your mind that doesn't mean you're blaspheming, just take those thoughts and replace them with the truth, you don't need to repent if it's not your thought! So if a thought comes and says "The Holy Spirit is evil" or "The Holy Spirit isn't God" you simply open the word and read about what the word says. John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. John 14:26 is one example, and find many more throughout scripture and you'll replace those bad thoughts with the truth of the word! I hope this helps!
I mean being saved is up to God, i don't think it's healthy to just assume, hey I am defiantly going to heaven no matter what because first of all we are not deserving of heaven, second of all many Christians even will go to hell, what makes you think you aren't one of them? Nope. The bible says we can KNOW we are going to heaven in 1 John 5:13-15. If you believe in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross and his death and resurrection for your salvation, you are saved and nothing can change that.

It’s hard to see you’ve come to the conclusion you have about truly being saved along with falling etc if you listen to Paul washer. (I believe that man was Paul washer I saw on your screen) my point is washer is very works oriented. I can elaborate on that but that’s exhaustive. I just mean that he’s very action oriented and yet you somehow come to faith alone and trusting in him as opposed to his position which is a little more than that. I’m just glad that aren’t shaken by his teachings and still rely on Jesus alone. That blood and gospel that does it all if we trust in him. - Corinthians 15:1-4. Proverbs 24:16 for the righteous falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked stumble in times of calamity. Jesus Christ forgives us our sins and cleanses our iniquities, we look to be holy as He is holy, but if you think you're perfect in your day to day life that is quite concerning. Persistence in sin with no repentance is not the same as a child succumbing to temptation and repenting to hopefully achieve a greater holiness.

He just wants us to o acknowledge him through them. To run to him for everything. We are always learning . Having a season , growing in Christ. Stay in the word . And trust in his word and promises over what the enemy is attacking you wit h. He loves you more than you’ll ever know . Cry out everything. And wait on the lord , but in the meantime, praise him . Follow Christ . Seek his kingdom and his righteousness and everything will follow.

I wish I could like this video ten times. I have been struggling with being caught up in discractions and fulfilling my mind with them. I had also trouble praying and even talking with God because I would always get lost or distracted during prayer or being in His presence! Keep seeking Him and submit to His plan. When I first came to Jesus I had no idea what I was doing with my life and I was 18 (I also thought military for a little bit) but I just kept praying for Gods will to be done and I didn't know what that was. Take it slow, work a job and find Gods plan by praying continually and doing what the written word says today. And you'll see Gods direction in your life. I have been a Christian for a few decades. I have always struggled with doubt. But reading 1 John always encourages me during those times. Lately, so do the Psalms. The psalmists struggled, too! Everyone does! Continue believing the gospel daily, reading the Word, praying in faith, and fellowshipping with believers. Most of all, think of Christ and how He died for you, and set your heart to love Him more and more. Sin is deceitful and costly, I know. It drives us to doubt. But we are transformed to look more by Jesus day by day, year by year, and some things are a slow process but it’s all worth it. I can focus on how I still struggle with some sins and get faint-hearted, or look at all the sins I no longer have and thank God for growth. Even the battle with sin is evidence you are a believer (read Romans 7 and 8).
The moment you believe and trust in what Christ has done for you. You are eternally saved sealed with the Holy Spirit forever. You can’t forfeit your Sonship. His righteousness imputed onto you. You don’t turn from sins to prove your saved or keep you saved. No it was all done away on the cross. Nothing can change that. We should condemn sin and we should live good for the Lord but this is separate from the requirements of salvation and more to do with us being disciples for the kingdom. Salvation is permanent once you believe. End of.

Hi Amy, I’ve struggled with this fear too in the past. I gave my life to Christ when I was 9 years old. I prayed the prayer they told me to and thought that was it. I gave my life to Christ out of fear. Since I grew up in the church, I had this feeling that God had always been a part of my life, yet I was still anxious and depressed. It wasn’t until recently that I found myself in a situation where my only help was God, and I truly realized how much I need a savior, that he showed me several things. One was that, as I waited for his answer to my situation, I was still in fear. That made me realize that there were areas of my life that I wasn’t fully surrendering to Jesus. Jesus told us before he ascended to heaven that he was leaving us his peace. A peace that surpasses all understanding. I didn’t have that peace. So I cried out to Jesus and told him to have my life. I surrendered all of it to him, knowing that if my situation got worse, I would still put my faith in Jesus because I know that this life is not the end. That there is a heaven and that one day Jesus will bring me there. Since then I have had overwhelming peace. My situation has not changed, but I’m no longer anxious and depressed. I believe Jesus will work every situation for the good of those who love him. We are saved by putting our faith in Jesus. Not by the prayers we pray or the works we do. He just needs our surrender. God doesn’t always answer our prayers the way we think he will or the way we think he should, but that’s because he sees the full picture. He knows things we don’t and sometimes the answers to our prayers are “no” or “not yet”. We are told to seek the kingdom of heaven first and all the rest will follow. Keep trusting him and putting your faith in him. I hope this helps and I pray that Jesus comforts you and gives you reassurance of your salvation in him.
Hi Amy :) I think you are worrying way to much. And there is a lot of I's in this message where is God in all of this? "I believe I bore fruit" .. "I used to share" "I don't things I used to" "I don't get convicted anymore". For a matter of fact John tells in in the gospels we can't receive anything unless it is giving to us from heaven. Also Jesus tells us, that remain in Me and I in you and you will bare fruit, you are the branches I am the vine apart from Me you can't do nothing.
Also does the bible tells us to be still and know that He is God. :)

You don’t need to be baptized to receive the Holy Spirit. It is an outward action to show your faith.
I don’t like saying this but i feel bipolar when i sin or feel conviction but It feels and makes me question why does God let me live but I think we forget there have been worse and horrible people between the time of the old and New Testament that have done way worse then we have as people of today and the lord forgives them
We feel remorseful and convicted when we sin. We go to God and pray for forgiveness, God forgives and forgets (holds no record of wrong 1 Corinthians 13:5) and we move forward. It doesn't mean that we persist in sin but we turn and look to be more holy (like Jesus). Don't feel condemned (Romans 8:1), move forward and keep seeking Jesus! Do not compare just look to Jesus, for forgiveness, love, grace and He will always be there! Amen!

Those thoughts are not from God. As you continue to renew your mind (Romans 12:1-2) you will see a change in your thinking. Even though those thoughts come to your mind that doesn't mean you're blaspheming, just take those thoughts and replace them with the truth, you don't need to repent if it's not your thought! So if a thought comes and says "The Holy Spirit is evil" or "The Holy Spirit isn't God" you simply open the word and read about what the word says.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
John 14:26 is one example, and find many more throughout scripture and you'll replace those bad thoughts with the truth of the word! I hope this helps!

Nope. The bible says we can KNOW we are going to heaven in 1 John 5:13-15. If you believe in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross and his death and resurrection for your salvation, you are saved and nothing can change that.

It’s hard to see you’ve come to the conclusion you have about truly being saved along with falling etc if you listen to Paul washer. (I believe that man was Paul washer I saw on your screen) my point is washer is very works oriented. I can elaborate on that but that’s exhaustive. I just mean that he’s very action oriented and yet you somehow come to faith alone and trusting in him as opposed to his position which is a little more than that. If you think that one sin, or falling short means you're not a child of God then I guess when Peter was rebuked by Paul for fearing and pleasing man he was not saved?
A constant and persistent path of sin with no heart change would tell you that persons not saved. But to condemn someone for their shortcomings is throwing a stone when you've got logs in your own eyes.

Jesus Christ forgives us our sins and cleanses our iniquities, we look to be holy as He is holy, but if you think you're perfect in your day to day life that is quite concerning. Persistence in sin with no repentance is not the same as a child succumbing to temptation and repenting to hopefully achieve a greater holiness.
