Couldn’t help but smile watching this! Brought back memories of my childhood days, whe n we’d take a window screen and tie the four ends up to make a simple net. We’d go in the nearby canal and catch some nice minnows and shiners for bait. Use them to catch some nice channel cats! Those were the days, let me tell ya! Thank you for sharing sir! Hog Rings have a lot of uses. When I recovered the seats on my old Porsches, they have old fashioned upholstery that's held on by hog rings (like cars from back when I was a kid). A lot of other uses for them as well. Get some Hog Ring pliers Jeff, they're cheap and hold the rings better.
I always use bread ties when making traps like that. They work excellent,and is a little quicker. Of course you need to save up the bread ties. Being a hoarder helps LoL.

I have requested before and will again. Will you please make a video on how you build a turtle trap out of a cattle panel. Half the size of the one that you use. I want to be able to conceal it. And if smaller, I believe I would stand a better chance.

Honestly zip ties work just as well everywhere on the thing.... That's what I used when I made mine..... Bro, you can hang a person with zip ties. LO l, they're not going anywhere.

My stepdad has ponds Full of brim Blue Gill whatever you want to call them. They spawn like crazy. We put loaf bread in the trap within 3 to 5 minutes We have enough baby blue gills To set out a 150 hooks jug fishing. On a bad day we'll catch 75 pounds of catfish

I just built a z minnow trap not long ago. It's not working as good as I was hoping. Not even as good as those little store-bought cylinder traps. I live on a lake in South texas. I think this design here is what I'm going to do next because, not only is it simple but it catches bait.
Jeff, you and Hannah need to get networked with the right people and get a virtual reality TV show going. The time is right and the two of you have a strong fan base. I think a lot more people would be watching your videos if they knew about the two of you. I think if you did do a virtual reality TV show it shouldn’t be scripted where there is make-believe drama, and a bunch of crap. Just have a like an hour long show that has the same content you got now only more of it. Have like your friends and family join in living out particular every day life scenarios etc..I think you need to consider doing some videos about all of the adventures the two of you have going to them outdoors conventions etc….Keep it up brother👍
In this joe Biden economy.....I'm building one of these today. So I can eat and not rely on welfare. You can't by crab on food stamps.....but alot of woman on food stamps can give you crabs.....

Minnows are very hard to catch in a cast net. They hug the bottom. Out here where I live the bottom is not smooth, so they go under the cast net.

I use zip ties on all my traps. Hardware cloth on small traps. 1/2by1 in on my catfish traps. When the SHTF ANYTHING will be something to eat
