It’s so useful
You don’t have to boil the peels, they loose all nutrients. You can just blend them and strain. I do it all the time. When you blend the peels, the liquid is very strong. Double the amount of water and use it when you water your orchid, spray the leaves and gently wipe them off with a soft cloth.

@@magierivera8875 you have to be patient and check constantly. I only have had luck with four plants. It also depends on the temperature and humidity. A thermometer will be of much help.

I don’t know about using the banana water, however putting the purée banana debris in the pot will result in abundant of fruit flies. Not a good way to invite pest in the house.

Orchid bark is used. Use a terracotta pot with holes on the side if you can. The roots need air.

Rubbing the orchid with the banana peel is like using aloe vera cream it will give it a protective shine plus it also nourishes the leave with nutrients dont ask me what nutrients i do not care it works. i comment on the banana smoothie is kinda harsh to me. You boil the banana to release the nutrients.
the filtering makes sure you have all the liquid to feed your orchid. the waste product become fertilizer so you never throw anything away that can be used to feed your plant.
try feeding your plant this "smoothie" and every other week do a garlic drink (boil garlic, filter, and feed your plant). you will be amazaed at the results.
think about it it is science not magic but most of all be patient.
