    Hello from Wisconsin I hope you sell some of those oriental pieces at your auction some day as I have be collecting them since I was 14 years old and I'm 59 now. So I'll keep watching for anything down the road on them....♥♥♥ Love to you and your beautiful wife.

      It does tend to suck you in, huh? Even while editing it, seeing it for the second time, I tend to get sucked in. Sometimes hard to know where to cut the scene, because I don't know how much more people want to see. Some love it, some get bored quick.

Once we have an initial appraisal, we might try it in our live auction with the reserve, or put it on eBay with a starting price, I don't know. I noticed at the end of the video you said you will keep us posted on what became of the scrolls you found in the trunk. I was wondering if there is a hidden video on this or perhaps no information came out. Either way I had hope to learn more on the outcome of the paper work/scrolls you found. Please let me know. Jack idk if you still have those Chinese scrolls but if you do or in the future, check out k auctions, they're based in canada but they charge a lot less than other places. 25% or less. For about $250k they only take $20k instead of the 50% that most of them take. For the scrolls, its worth it because it wouldn't cost too much to ship them. Kastner auctions or k auctions. If its too late for that, keep them in mind for future endeavors. Happy hunting!

    I found an obit for a Benjamin "Ben" Tom of San Francisco who passed away in 2017 at 91 years old. His obit said he is survived by his wife and four children. You may want to look at that obit and then determine if those family photos should be returned to them.

    • @LockerNuts
      @LockerNuts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We offered to give them back to the facility, but they didn't want to take them. They said the man had died some years ago, and the wife passed more recently, and that they didn't think they had any children. We don't try to contact owners directly for safety reasons, we only work through the help of the facility.

    Seems to definitely have been a pilot...the pin with the wings and propeller look to be WW2 U.S. Army Air Force Pilot Wings... If you put together the WW2 items from his (assuming it was the husband) career they would sell well as a lot on eBay, as collectors like having groupings of individual's careers, keeping the history together and alive. Might want to check and see if he was a decorated vet, also
