i realized after listening to this album 215 times that it’s not about the heartbreak. it’s about the effect that the heartbreak left on him. he got into drugs, and the entire time he did not know how to cope with the breakup so he begins doing tons of drugs. you can tell in all girls are the same, he is fairly sober apart from alcohol. his first insobriety is in lean wit me in which the entire song is about how much the drugs are doing to him and he starts to like it. he then goes off the rails. by the end he is starting to realize the drugs might kill him, but he still believes he is not addicted, in which he states “ima be fine” this song is the perfect ending
