- Plimoth Plantation in Plymouth Massachusetts. A living history museum where you can interact with the participants and see what life was like in the late 16th century. They also have a building where they create arts, crafts, and food the way it was done 400 years ago.
Excellent place to visit if you come to Massachusetts. I arrived just when they opened so there wasn't that many people as of yet but when I left more people were arriving.

if it were not for gun powder we settlers would have been bucherd by the local indians thank god for this chines invencion or has is done more harm than good

In bushcraft in a survival situation where you may hypothetically be caught out with nothing but an ax, the first rule is to build a bed platform that will keep you off the ground. It was nice to see how tightly that approach is adhered to in the Wampanoag summer and winter dwellings. In bushcrafting videos you usually only get to see it being put into practice in lean-to structures. Here, it is especially nice to see it in round, fully enclosed structures.
Tipi Dan open faced structures will kill you up here, especially in the winter.
