In 90s I was listening Dave Weckl performances in CDs of: Akoustic Band, GRP All Stars Big Band. Dave at that time shown already is incredible/superlative sound, touch and drumming capabilities, already at that time was clear that He is the number One. In this video he plays with so really great musicians just confirming his continuos growing....👏👏👏👏👏👏
How the hell is this even possible? Three musicians as one, woven together in the most beautiful way. It's telepathic and the highest level of listening and being present. The music is playing the players. Absolutely mind blowing performance.

This guy is a magnificent pianist, I enjoy his (your) work. Totally clean, precise, inventive, and musical. Nice collab, you and Weckl, definitely one of my favorite drummers in this genre. I love his lightness and extensive use of brass percussion instruments, cleverly known as cymbals. :-) Corea's band that Weckle was in was a favorite of my youth. This one dropped right into the ole personal playlist. Beast of an arrangement, too.
The great Virtuosity and Musicianship aside, the MIX is incredible. Kudos to the Sound Engineer! Didn't know of this Pianist and the Bass Guitarist till today 🔥🙌🏿 Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬👊🏿🖤
