with my masking method, you don't have to pull it off when you're done.
when you choose to stop, your painting is finished and you can close it as usual.
when working with this technique you must do it on top of a hard surface.

this piece did not go as expected at all LOL
so I added some waves with alcohol ink markers.
that's how it is sometimes with ink, you can't really predict how the ink will behave.
I hope you will enjoy this timelapse anyway
in this demo video I use Posca Pencil wax/oil based as masking to keep the alcohol ink - bottel and Mermaid inside my expression.
Design twin marker CG4 for waves

You can dilute alcohol Ink with isopropyl alcohol.

i use Academy series paper, there is the same as YUPO PAPER
( Nara is no good for this technique).
