Block cheese tastes better then ready grated cheese because the ready grated comes coated in corn flour to stop it sticking together. So doesn't taste great & also doesn't melt nicely. I prefer block cheese too but hate grating it, so will be getting me one of these graters👍 thanks for review.
I have been grating my own cheese since I moved out, mostly chedder and parm, for cost reasons and versatility and then for taste. Now that my hand problems are getting worse, I ordered one of these dodads. What you have looks like the one I ordered. I'm glad to see it handles cheddar perfectly.
Sorry to hear about your hand problems, hopefully the cheese grater works good for you. I haven’t tried Parmesan cheese in it but that’s a good idea. I think I will try that next. Thank you and Thanks for watching.
LOVE IT...
although i don't do "cheese" at this current time, but works GREAT for carrots! 🥕
Never thought to use it for carrots, but it makes perfect sense. Thanks for the tip 😊

Block cheese is infinitely better. Has anybody ever seen finely made expensive cheeses pre shredded? Of course not. There's a reason for that.
