Lol, your parent stories had me flashback. When we lived in what we called the hood on Roosevelt Street. We had a good street of kids growing up together. There was this little boy who cussed my daughter out and started calling her all these bad names in Spanish. Those words always sound so much worse.. I went off on the little boy, and his mother came like a tornado out of her house to defend him. Everyone was more surprised by my actions because I very rarely got mad or cuss about anything. This day was my exception. Oh, the joys of motherhood. ❤❤❤
The smaller cookbooks are a great idea. You could do seasonal ones...like one for Christmas, one for general baking, another one for soups. There are so many categories to choose from. Sounds like fun.
Love the idea for the smaller cookbooks. Sometimes the big cookbooks can be overwhelming. The American tomatoes dinner the other night looked so wonderful. I hope that recipe gets into one of your books. Love all your soups. Your kitchen must have such a wonderful cozy aroma. ❤😘
I’m listening to u and cracking up… it’s u Linda! I love u… but girl do u have trust issues… Ur children are adults, trust that u have taught them to be strong and independent and able to do things on their own (especially Jenny) my mom did this with all three of her kids and my daughter (my mom is now gone and I still look to her for anything) They say to break the ties.. but I think it’s us that have to break them…

I use peanut oil to cook southern fried chicken. I let it cool, strain it out into another container and use it again a few times.
