It was a watershed moment when Terry realized that he couldn’t go any further musically but YoungK could. Terry chose school and a more traditional career path. It was also the single most terrifying decision for YoungK. His parents expected him to take Terry’s path but he decided to go for music. I’d say they both made the right call.
Wah... It's so fascinating how every member had different background, Young K the rising band vocalist, Sungjin the vocal prodigy, Wonpil the optimistic student, Jae the college student who pursued his passion in music, and Dowoon the student who just want to play drum. And somehow they meet and become brother in Day6. I feel like watching a biography or a movie about them. This must have taken a long time and so much effort to put this video together. I can feel you put your heart into making this present, and for that I really thank you. I just got into Day6 this april, but as jae said whether we're baby or old myday the important this is that we're together now. I hope I can grow old together with them and cherish every memory.
Nahhh I was in that era and Youngk was already kinda known as the “Ace” or the “Triple Threat” trainee of JYP. Surely, if he can’t get into Got7 then they’d make a new group for him, like what they did for Sungjin. Hahaha

I found this group for like a month and yet seeing their progress and where they are now makes me proud. And the thing that stood out to me is how hard they must have worked , especially, leader Sungjin....learning cajon for 5live and then learning guitar in 3 months....while also taking responsibility as a leader.....I really liked what he said about working hard as there are no other way around it. And THANK YOU sooo much for putting together this series. How did you even find Young k and Wonpil's music video extra clips? It must have taken so long to edit and go through their clips. I'm an old soft day6 stan but recently I've been very active on stanning them and I don't think I'm a soft stan anymore. I really look up to day6 because of their passion and great music. Just imagine this one particular skill you need to even survive at JYPE and you spend so much time to perfect it and when you finally do it and your so proud of yourself. You go to tell them and then they’re like “nah fam jk lol you don’t need to do it anymore” 🤣
Thankyou so much for this video. I'm still amazed at the fact that Sungjin and Young K had to learn their instruments for the band without prior experiences (especially Sungjin within very short period). How some of them trained so hard for dancing for a long time but eventually debut as a band, some might think it was all a waste, but I think all the efforts really made them for what they are right now. When all of a sudden, they need to learn how to make their own music to debut (which they are really good at now and even getting praises from fellow musicians) I'm just. Truly. Amazed. I think this really inspired me. Even when they are faced with something so unexpected, seeming impossible almost, they did that. Though a lot of times things were really stressful, look at them now. Look how far they've come. We know they're born with immense talent, but in this video we can really see how hard they work to reach what they are right now. These boys are amazing.

crazy how because of all these coincidences, differences and random unfortunate things, we now have this band who gave us meaningful songs that get us through the day, and a band who made us happy and inspired. I JUST LOVE HOW THEY'RE FORMED, IT'S LIKE A BEAUTIFUL BLESSING TO ALL OF US; MYDAYS.

Their debut song title "Congratulations" is really fitting to their debut story--"Congratulations Day6 for passing the one final requirement and now you're debuting"... jype pushing them to write their own craft and gave the creative freedom to the boys is really smart 💯
I filled with sorrows and rejoicing when finished the video… Before this, I knew DAY6 since 2016, their debut song Congratulations and the FABULOUS project even called Everyday6. All their songs from sunrise and moonrise helped me through my puberty. I listened to all their music but didn’t know more than that. Along with they enlisted one by one, the video of Yonk crying on Pily’s concert hit me at that moment. Why did he cry? And How come never did I know more about them…So I watched all the video crazily these days🥲I never know the hardships they been through before cause they always played instruments like they born that way. Finished the sorrows part… And THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video with all the details though it was published a year ago. I’m sorry I’m late. Their talents, courage and faith in music amazed me, their tenderness in lyrics in Korean or English shaped me again. Though Jae parted and he still with music. DAY6’s music recused me every day and night. Their music were my pals back then and I want to be their friend and strength now. Wonpil said STAY and I will. The 5 of them might come tgt as coincidence, but to me (at least) it's destiny. I read somewhere that the company planned to cut Sungjin off because he was bad at dancing. But JYP himself couldnt let him go and made the first ever band on his company for Sungjin. And other members were added after that Edit: Im really grateful for this video. Because there are not much content of Day6 like the other groups have. So if someone was interested, sometimes they ended up leaving because the lack of information. Thank you 💙

I am an ahgase, when youngjae become DJ at idol radio with YoungK, i found that YoungK is such a cute,sweet and amazing guy, I am in love with his voice so muchhh !! ofc i listened to some of their songs before but then i didnt put much attention on DAY6, i felt so sorry now huhu T.T and recently i watch Jae playing games with Mark and Bambam, and i think Jae is so funny and such a sweet guy too T.T So recently i listened to many of their songs, watch many videos about them and i think i am going to stan DAY6, not only YoungK and Jae, Sungjin, Wonpil and Dowoon are amazing too T.T all DAY6 members are precious gems !!!! I really like when Dowoon sings omg i hope he can sings more, his low tone voice is attractive hahahah xD i hope Sungjin and Jae can get well soon and i can't wait their comeback

I will no longer see them complete since jae departed the group but still im happy to be able to see them grow and be happy. Really, I am always thankful to this channel for providing Day6 contents. I started really being a Day6 fan back when they comeback with Days Gone By. I knew them before that when I stumbled upon a lyric video of Letting Go back in 2016 and the opening harmonies really got me. I casually listened to other of their songs with MVs after that and even though I admit to love all of their songs, I didn't identify myself as a fan because I kinda distanced myself with KPop at that time because I didn't really like how I am behaving as an ARMY/EXO-L, lots of toxicity within the fandom and stuff. When I really decided to go deeper with the band, to know more about the members and Day6 itself, there's not much to see here on YT. Or when there's content for them, there's no english subtitles which is why is kinda hard to sit through the entire video. I remember looking through what came up when I search Day6 and they were mostly your videos. So, for loving Day6 so much and providing other people Day6 contents, I thank you very much 😊😊
Also, My Day is the chillest fandom ever, I swear. I remember seeing a comment on one of One OK Rock's songs saying that Day6 is also a good band, and someone replied saying KPop is trash or something along that line. The commenter suggested for the person to listen to one of their songs and the person insisted on not liking Day6's music. I was kinda of pissed of with the one who replied, but I was pleasantly surprised when the fan replied with thanking the person for checking out Day6. Really, My Days are composed of matured people, I love it. Being one with the people who appreciate Day6 for being the talented people that they are is just amazing and really refreshing. There are no pressure for votings and stuffs, no dragging down other groups or fandoms, just loving Day6, the members, and the music.

This was a long apple story of mine of how I stumble upon DAY6. I think I said it too many times already. I was diagnosed with MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) two years ago. At that time, I'm just at the beginning of my treatment, with the trial & error of meds, etc, etc. This one fine day, YT recommends me When You Love Someone by DAY6 and I clicked the video. Man, how I can relate the song with my current condition, only He knows. The things about myself, when I listened to music I just listen to them, the name, the details, I couldn't care less about it as long as the music was good to listen to. So, I start to find about these boys, because I want to know how can they make their arts that deep. YT again, recommend me this channel then I keep coming & waiting for their video. DAY6 songs soothing my soul that being wounded for years. Their songs always open to different interpretations of their listener. Watching some of their interviews of how hard it was for them to gather the members and start the band, I can feel that into my deep bones. I struggle to meet people's expectations, achieved only the best, all the numbers & straight A's from primary school until into the uni. People watching me all the time, waiting what I'm gonna be with all the so-called excellent & smart apple student title they proclaim to me. It made me anxious with a lot of 'what if's' in my mind until I broke down three years ago after my graduation. No matter what are you aiming for, there were always challenges & presumption of the mass people. I love DAY6 as the artist that able to touch others' hearts sincerely. I don't care if they didn't get big awards or whatsoever. People who appreciate their artistry wouldn't make a big deal about that. I know the Korean music industry doesn't work like that, but yeah I hope, the music will be more than YT count views & awards. For me, the awards were just a little thing, it's a good indication of physical appreciation but if you know DAY6 then you know. I miss the whole squad, I miss to listen to all of their voice in a song together but hey. It's always good to take a pause in your life, to reflect, to take a good rest from everything that burdening your heart & mind. So, I'll patiently wait for the Park Bro's comeback all together as DAY6 again, while supporting Even of Day. Rest & recuperate enough, bro. This is really touching. Now that Day6 is being more popular, and many people listen to their music, it makes me so proud of them because i knew them since their busking era. Also i'm so proud of myday that always support them and their music. There's no way this fandom can be this strong without Day6's music😭❤
Day6 did catch my attention when they debuted, enough to check out who they were and enjoy some of their songs. But I never really stanned them from the beginning. Then, "I loved You" from Every Day6 Project dropped and I was Swooned. When "All Alone" dropped, I felt so bad that it took me so much time to appreciate the true gem Day6 and their music has been. But Now I am here, and I will Stan them till my last breath.

I found this channel via Got7. Then i remember seeing collaboration performance between Day6 and Got7 a few months back. Well i don't follow Kpop music because mostly i just listen to English and my native language songs. But I always search songs in various languages i listened in movies or dramas. so that's means OSTs, track list etc. Most of the time I don't even know the singers. But whenever i got to know them, I'll check their few other works. Today i took time to get to know Day6. I think i like it. Ahah there's songs i used to listen in my Spotify playlist. Oh i just want to state this comment to channel my thought. I like it here, i appreciate whenever people do something they love, embracing their talents and acquiring new skills. Such an inspiration story to start another new day. It's 6am.

I found this group for like a month and yet seeing their progress and where they are now makes me proud. And the thing that stood out to me is how hard they must have worked , especially, leader Sungjin....learning cajon for 5live and then learning guitar in 3 months....while also taking responsibility as a leader.....I really liked what he said about working hard as there are no other way around it. And THANK YOU sooo much for putting together this series. How did you even find Young k and Wonpil's music video extra clips? It must have taken so long to edit and go through their clips.

I'm an old soft day6 stan but recently I've been very active on stanning them and I don't think I'm a soft stan anymore. I really look up to day6 because of their passion and great music. Thankyou so much for this video. I'm still amazed at the fact that Sungjin and Young K had to learn their instruments for the band without prior experiences (especially Sungjin within very short period). How some of them trained so hard for dancing for a long time but eventually debut as a band, some might think it was all a waste, but I think all the efforts really made them for what they are right now. When all of a sudden, they need to learn how to make their own music to debut (which they are really good at now and even getting praises from fellow musicians) I'm just. Truly. Amazed. I think this really inspired me. Even when they are faced with something so unexpected, seeming impossible almost, they did that. Though a lot of times things were really stressful, look at them now. Look how far they've come. We know they're born with immense talent, but in this video we can really see how hard they work to reach what they are right now. These boys are amazing.

Before this, I knew DAY6 since 2016, their debut song Congratulations and the FABULOUS project even called Everyday6. All their songs from sunrise and moonrise helped me through my puberty. I listened to all their music but didn’t know more than that.
Along with they enlisted one by one, the video of Yonk crying on Pily’s concert hit me at that moment. Why did he cry? And How come never did I know more about them…So I watched all the video crazily these days🥲I never know the hardships they been through before cause they always played instruments like they born that way. Finished the sorrows part…

Their talents, courage and faith in music amazed me, their tenderness in lyrics in Korean or English shaped me again. Though Jae parted and he still with music. Ngl got emotional watching this as I realize again all the hard work they have to go through before being able to debut as Day6. The 5 of them might come tgt as coincidence, but to me (at least) it's destiny. They have always been talented, hardworking, ambitious musicians even before their trainee days, which is why it's like fate they end up together at last
I read somewhere that the company planned to cut Sungjin off because he was bad at dancing. But JYP himself couldnt let him go and made the first ever band on his company for Sungjin. And other members were added after that

I am an ahgase, when youngjae become DJ at idol radio with YoungK, i found that YoungK is such a cute,sweet and amazing guy, I am in love with his voice so muchhh !! ofc i listened to some of their songs before but then i didnt put much attention on DAY6, i felt so sorry now huhu T.T and recently i watch Jae playing games with Mark and Bambam, and i think Jae is so funny and such a sweet guy too T.T So recently i listened to many of their songs, watch many videos about them and i think i am going to stan DAY6, not only YoungK and Jae, Sungjin, Wonpil and Dowoon are amazing too T.T all DAY6 members are precious gems !!!! I really like when Dowoon sings omg i hope he can sings more, his low tone voice is attractive hahahah xD i hope Sungjin and Jae can get well soon and i can't wait their comeback

I will no longer see them complete since jae departed the group but still im happy to be able to see them grow and be happy. Really, I am always thankful to this channel for providing Day6 contents. I started really being a Day6 fan back when they comeback with Days Gone By. I knew them before that when I stumbled upon a lyric video of Letting Go back in 2016 and the opening harmonies really got me.
I casually listened to other of their songs with MVs after that and even though I admit to love all of their songs, I didn't identify myself as a fan because I kinda distanced myself with KPop at that time because I didn't really like how I am behaving as an ARMY/EXO-L, lots of toxicity within the fandom and stuff.
When I really decided to go deeper with the band, to know more about the members and Day6 itself, there's not much to see here on YT. Or when there's content for them, there's no english subtitles which is why is kinda hard to sit through the entire video. I remember looking through what came up when I search Day6 and they were mostly your videos.
So, for loving Day6 so much and providing other people Day6 contents, I thank you very much 😊😊
Also, My Day is the chillest fandom ever, I swear. I remember seeing a comment on one of One OK Rock's songs saying that Day6 is also a good band, and someone replied saying KPop is trash or something along that line. The commenter suggested for the person to listen to one of their songs and the person insisted on not liking Day6's music. I was kinda of pissed of with the one who replied, but I was pleasantly surprised when the fan replied with thanking the person for checking out Day6. Really, My Days are composed of matured people, I love it.
Being one with the people who appreciate Day6 for being the talented people that they are is just amazing and really refreshing. There are no pressure for votings and stuffs, no dragging down other groups or fandoms, just loving Day6, the members, and the music.

This was a long apple story of mine of how I stumble upon DAY6. I think I said it too many times already. I was diagnosed with MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) two years ago. At that time, I'm just at the beginning of my treatment, with the trial & error of meds, etc, etc. This one fine day, YT recommends me When You Love Someone by DAY6 and I clicked the video. Man, how I can relate the song with my current condition, only He knows. The things about myself, when I listened to music I just listen to them, the name, the details, I couldn't care less about it as long as the music was good to listen to. So, I start to find about these boys, because I want to know how can they make their arts that deep. YT again, recommend me this channel then I keep coming & waiting for their video. DAY6 songs soothing my soul that being wounded for years. Their songs always open to different interpretations of their listener. Watching some of their interviews of how hard it was for them to gather the members and start the band, I can feel that into my deep bones. I struggle to meet people's expectations, achieved only the best, all the numbers & straight A's from primary school until into the uni. People watching me all the time, waiting what I'm gonna be with all the so-called excellent & smart apple student title they proclaim to me. It made me anxious with a lot of 'what if's' in my mind until I broke down three years ago after my graduation. No matter what are you aiming for, there were always challenges & presumption of the mass people. I love DAY6 as the artist that able to touch others' hearts sincerely. I don't care if they didn't get big awards or whatsoever. People who appreciate their artistry wouldn't make a big deal about that. I know the Korean music industry doesn't work like that, but yeah I hope, the music will be more than YT count views & awards. For me, the awards were just a little thing, it's a good indication of physical appreciation but if you know DAY6 then you know. I miss the whole squad, I miss to listen to all of their voice in a song together but hey. It's always good to take a pause in your life, to reflect, to take a good rest from everything that burdening your heart & mind. So, I'll patiently wait for the Park Bro's comeback all together as DAY6 again, while supporting Even of Day. Rest & recuperate enough, bro. so i just became a myday for like 5 days or more , i know day6 through jae because his videos keep showing on my instagram i dont even know why. so one day im thinking of try to hear some of their songs , and i unexpectedly fall for them ,and i think now i can already call myself myday , i dont even know it was this hard for them to debut , im thinking like how much stress they are having at that time , each of the members had a different story to be in part of day6 , it looks impossible but they made it possible, im so proud of them , they achieve their dreams , after being asked to dance for years , they were also asked to play instruments and i think thats a wow for them , they really did a good job , i really hope there are more people who know them , hope their band become a successful band , i really love their musics , they are so good , hwaiting day 6!🙆🏻♀️

I found this channel via Got7. Then i remember seeing collaboration performance between Day6 and Got7 a few months back. Well i don't follow Kpop music because mostly i just listen to English and my native language songs. But I always search songs in various languages i listened in movies or dramas. so that's means OSTs, track list etc. Most of the time I don't even know the singers. But whenever i got to know them, I'll check their few other works. Today i took time to get to know Day6. I think i like it. Ahah there's songs i used to listen in my Spotify playlist. Oh i just want to state this comment to channel my thought. I like it here, i appreciate whenever people do something they love, embracing their talents and acquiring new skills. Such an inspiration story to start another new day. It's 6am.
