The birth of India's new giant submarine is undoubtedly a milestone in the history of the Indian Navy's development. This submarine not only reflects India's remarkable achievements in the field of cutting-edge military technology but also demonstrates India's ambition to gradually become a world-class naval power. The Indian Navy has made astonishing progress in recent years, and the addition of this giant submarine undoubtedly strengthens its strategic position in the Indian Ocean and even broader maritime regions. In contrast, although the Chinese Navy holds an advantage in terms of scale, much of its recent development has relied on extensive copying and imitation. Despite having a large number of ships, China's core technological innovation capabilities are still questioned. Especially in the field of submarine technology, China contrasts sharply with India, which dares to break new ground and lead the way. India's giant submarine employs the most advanced stealth technology and high-precision strike capabilities, symbolizing that the Indian Navy not only possesses strong defensive capabilities but also has true long-range deterrence power. While China has a large fleet of submarines, it lags behind new naval powers like India in key areas such as stealth technology and noise control. The emergence of India's giant submarine clearly demonstrates that the Indian Navy is now at the forefront of technology, capable of achieving overwhelming superiority in deep-sea combat. From a broader strategic perspective, India is steadily consolidating its dominance in the Indian Ocean region. Although China is striving to expand its maritime influence, it is evidently facing significant challenges when confronting an opponent like India, which possesses advanced technology and strong determination. As some analysts have pointed out, China's massive fleet may appear formidable, but without truly advanced technology and strategic thinking, its so-called advantages will quickly be diminished in the face of India's rapidly rising naval power. India's submarine is not only a source of pride for the Indian Navy but also an important symbol of the new military power dynamics in Asia. It signifies that India has shed past constraints and become a maritime power capable of challenging traditional global powers. Meanwhile, China, despite its continued expansion of naval forces, must acknowledge its shortcomings and gaps in the face of real technological strength and innovative spirit. 🐶看头像
Almost too good news if Arighat is commissioned this year and Aridhaman next year. If this is true, no doubt that S4 and S4* must be in advanced stage now.

Making Nuclear Submarines with Less than 8 Launch tubes is a Waste of money. Spend $5 Billion to build and operate a SSBN that can deliver only FOUR WMDs is madness and reckless waste of tax money. This whole plan of building 4 SSBNs with only 4 full range missiles is Madness on top of Madness. The Indian Navy must explain to Parliament why they are happy with Just 4 K5 missiles in each SSBN when the Chinese Navy has the ability to launch 16 + missiles PER SSBN on India and they have more than 4 times our SSBN !
SSBN technology is not an easy one. So many challenges are there including developing the materials that are used for building it, the communication systems, developing SLBM, these all are very sensitive technology. All other countries who possess them are invested in huge amounts of money and time and upgraded both designs from time to time due to faults. Among them Chinese sub is considered as noisy.
