Starting my first QA role in June. It’s more so healthcare IT, are you aware of any differences that there may be when dealing with the healthcare IT QA side vs QA in the standard Tech industry?
Congrats on the new position! High level it should be the same concepts, writing test documentation, executing tests, creating bug reports, and going to meetings. The difference may be the what you are testing (tech apps vs healthcare apps) and the company culture. Hope this helped!
I used to work for a pharma company as QA. It depends on what you are doing as QA. IT covers a wide range of things. I was working on validating our software purchased from vendors was configured correctly. If you share what kind of healthcare company it is, I can offer some insight on what to expect.
Hi just wanted to say what a great job you’ve done with your content ! Thanks so much for all the hard work you’ve put into them, it’s been extremely helpful. I’m currently in the QA program with tripleten and your content has been more helpful to be honest haha. I have a question, have you heard of this course and have any advice as I near the end of the course in finding a job? Thanks so much
🤣🤣🤣 that only works when it’s 3-4 jobs that each pay $200k+ with a max 1 hour a day of actual work! (For those of you who are new to the field and reading this we are joking lol).
Great content! It's always hard those first couple of weeks but you get into the flow after awhile and it doesn't feel so daunting
I appreciate your hard work bro
Thanks for the support!
I am starting with careerist next week (hopefully), it's good to see some things I'm getting myself into
