In a world where humans meet their doubles, Sally and Jack's lives get out of hand when they discover that a patch of burned ground in their backyard made this possible. Plot twist: The guy that died was the duplicate of the original guy and he died because he reached his expiration. The original guy had already left and started a new life for himself elsewhere before the video even began. The duplicate guy knew his days were numbered because he'd already figured it out some time ago.
Also, if you want to make some money, go duplicate things like saffron or truffles or some of that really expensive ginseng Asians like to spend tons of money on.
these are 2 short films. while doubles did come out 2017, you are wrong about burnt grass coming out 2021 because it came out 2014

I believe the flower in the normal pot was the original as you can see Jack placing one with a normal pot in the cloning soil. I think this means that since that's the one that died, the originals are the ones dying and the clones are the ones that survive which ties nicely to how only the original Jack died with his origin Wife who got punished for trying to clone herself

The cloning must've greatly boosted her ego as well also, in the end she depended on herself. It would've been interesting to see where this story goes afterwards, or could've explored if the soil had any other abilities besides cloning.

Why would anyone clone themselves? How did a clone get a cell phone when non organic stuff does not get cloned? How did she get that chocolate cake off of the roof and onto a plate? Shouldn't the clones show up naked? The first part about the guy and his wife was interesting. The part where Booker shows up is confusing. It has no connection to the first part and it is confusing and uninteresting. If I were that guy in the first part, I would wait until both wives were asleep and use a branding iron on one of them. That is one way to end the confusion.
