While the failure of Serbia Team onto big 8 is not a big surprised since They didn't call Boskovic and Maya Ognjenovic earlier (at least strarting from second week). That's decison is difficult to be understood because as we all know, Serbia Team is so much depends on Boskovic, mainly since Mihajllovic been absent for long time. It means that once Boskovic didn't play, or didn't perform normaly like in this match, the team as whole become messy. More so their defense was so fragile since Bianca Busa didn't perform as usual. The problem become more compex becaused the setting oftenly errors.

@@jhonatanf9595 Busa es Titular, Las Dos Armadoras también y las dos son campeonas olímpicas y mejores armadoras del mundial, Boskoviç, Stevanovic, Popovic, la liberito, entro una banca que ayudo bastante y no fué para descansar a las demás, es que estaban desconcentradas, vimos al equipo completo de SERBIA caer. Ya las que nos estaban anunciaron su retiro.

Serbia lost so many points because of bad serve reception and weaker defense. This may have been one of Dominican Republic's best matches in week 3! The physicality and defense of Dominican Republic was so great that Serbia had no answer for them in the 5th set. It is unfortunate that both teams didn't make it to the next stage, but I think it might be better for players that need some rest for the European Championship. I think Guidetti needs a little more time to work with the Serbian team. They may seem weak now, but I predict that they will be better prepared this summer. Not qualifying for the next round of the VNL is not the end of the world. Hopefully Serbia ends with a win for their last match as well. Congrats to Dominican Republic ♥🇩🇴!
Serbia had no attack, and no defense (my thoughts watching the match), and good part of it sure is due to DR playing well. But I'm not so optimistic about Guidetti, he looks all confused.
Maja passed her prime at this point. This match is probably an ideal example of Maja's current state as a setter for Serbia. First of all, there is more inconsistency in the quality of her sets. You can definitely tell that Maja is aging especially in her stamina. Back to back games like yesterday against Germany, and today against Dominican Republic is just a little too much for Maja as she is 38 years old. She even got subbed by Drca for some time in the entire match. The largest contributor to Serbia's success is really just only Boskovic. Without Boskovic, the entire Serbian team simply can't play without Boskovic. Serbia really needs to find out a better way to use Maja more efficiently as her performance in the later stages of the match keeps on dropping. If Serbia cannot have a solution for it, then it will be hard for them to achieve success in the future.
Why "even got subbed by Drca"? She was the setter to win - very convincingly - last WC, and before that at least one EC. Otherwise, I agree, but I always liked Drca better.
"The entire Serbian team can't play without Boskovic" while this team without Boskovic won bronze in VNL last year. I can't believe people still try to attribute all of Serbia's success to only one player. If that was the case then Sweden would be on top of the world because they have Haak. But that's not the case, isn't it? All of the Serbian players are good players. Drca, Stevanovic and Pusic were among the best players in WC last year. Stevanovic is constantly one of the best MBs in the world. The problem here is that Maja forces Boskovic too much. Her time has passed and she can't contribute to the team anymore. Drca should have been the starting setter. That's the only point I agree with.
@@59vladai always claimed that Drca is ten times better than current Maja, and i was right, everyone saw it now...
@@natasanj6472 It was just that the whole team - except Tijana and Mina - had a bad day. Maybe the main part of it is in the way Guidetti does his job. I was reading before, and can see again now, comments of Turkish fans about him destroying their national team (and now is our turn). Probably going too far, but I was never impressed by his act.

DR defeating China and Serbia in 5 sets in this week’s games. They played on Frid and Saturday. Amazing performance! Still the 6-8 places in the ranking is 😮something to watch for.
