- Watching and listening regularly to your repertoire will speed up your learning process. These pieces are played with beginner´s technique (without vibrato or other advanced techniques) and proper bow division, so that you can make the most of your learning! Your teacher will be very pleased with the results of your practice!
🎻✨🦋
Also, you can find all of these pieces in a slow practice tempo on this channel, which is very helpful in the early stages of learning a new piece!
If you dont have strips on your own bow it can be helpful to put some on, or use chalk to divide the bow into four even parts so that you can copy a precise bow distribution:-)
And remember, if your teacher suggests other bow distribution, always follow his/her advice!

A video like this can be very helpful, but remember that it can never replace your teacher. Please always follow your teachers advice, as even within the Suzuki program, the teachers playing and instruction can vary slightly from one another and this should by no means confuse you! Always confirm with your teacher as he/she knows how to help you best!

The piano accompaniment in this recording is arranged and performed by David Andruss. It was produced by the German Suzuki Institute in 2001 under its own copyright; it belongs to the test files of the Step by Step Series volume 1A and 1B.
Challenge for you: Play through these pieces with me with your very best violin hold! Check and adjust it in between each piece and let me know how it went!🎻🤩🦋
Your smile looks so sweet when u play ❤❤
My teacher told me to listen to suzuki book 1 songs and this video really helped me!! thank you so much for doing this video
Thank you! My six year old daughter is practicing all the pieces in the book 1. Your plays are quite good examples for beginners. This channel deserves more views and subscriptions.
thank you ❤❤
Thank you for this great video 👌❤️
Wow! This helpd me soooo much! Thank you! Everyone should subscribe!!!!
Beautiful
What i find especially useful is the progressive use of varied parts of the bow with the corresponding bow mechanics required of the entire arm from shoulder to finger action and wrist. As a beginner i emulate from the elbow down relying on the upper arm for string levels. I find that opening of the arm from the elbow is a timing and coordination challenge that is compounded in difficulty by the flattening of the wrist and finger extension. To see it performed is a great learning tool that i appreciate immensely. Thank you.
I am so glad to be of help on your learning journey! You can also find all these pieces in a slow practice tempo, which might help you even more, as you can emulate more accurately:-) Wishing you all the best on your journey! Best regards from Vienna!

👍👏❤
Im a beginner, started last April this year and i am working hard for the last piece of susuki 1, Gavotte.. i am learning a lot from your videos. Thank you very much.
I wish my orchestra did suzuki method 😅 everything is simply too easy in the essential books.
I've been watching how you manipulate your bow. I always seem to run out of bow length.
That means you are using too much bow speed. Simply slow it down, especially at the lower part at the down bow. You can practice drawing slow bows from balance point to middle and see how slowly you can play while still producing a nice sound:-) All the best for your practice!
Wonderful! I can't believe she isn't married!
Sis can u give me how to play Etude to be easy🙏🙏🙏
Wonderful! Am so glad to be of help to your practice!
@@violingardenacademy This channel is very helpful for me who has only been learning violin for 4 months, now I have entered the Etude song and it is very difficult to do it because it often swipes 2 strings.
The legato part at gavotte’s song is super hard 😪😪
Yes, its a tricky spot! You can find a video with play along practice to learn that part! Its in one of the playlists called "Tricky Spots Book 1". You can do it!!
Thank you! I’ll watch 🤩
