British humour is very spontaneous and seems to be a part of everyday conversation, as many of your episodes show. Other nations also have that, but the Brits are masters in this area.

in latin america countries (countries in america continent that speak spanish and portuguese), there is a mexican TV serie very famous. The original name é "El Chavo", in Brazil we call "Chaves". This TV serie is old, but is so funny, hilarious.

I think Americans don't get irony so well and don't make fun of themselves as much as Brits do!

I'm telling you, Mitch, mate, when that girl said _"brace yourselves!"_ I felt that! 😁 I'm _so_ lousy at humour, that I could make a fortune by just betting humongous amounts of money on your sense of humour undergoing an implosion, the likes of which physics has yet to observe, right after one of my jokes.
I know some folks might not agree, but the older I get, the more I'm convinced that that's one of those things that you're either born with, or have mercy on those poor souls, oh God almighty who in heaven art, who have to listen to your "humour".
Then again, there's still some solace to be found in the fact that, just like with so many other things in life, you don't have to be good at it yourself to be able to appreciate it in others, eh? 😎
P.S. I didn't know that Freud joke, but I sure know I enjoyed it! 😂🤣

This American also enjoys British humor, more so than our comedy. "Dad's Army,", "The Thin Blue Line", Alas Smith & Jones, The Two Ronnies (esp. "Four Candles!!") are all brilliant.

'Not Going Out' has to be the sitcommiest sitcom I've ever seen. Which is weird to me, b/c when I think of corny sitcoms I think of American stuff pre-2000, not British.

We do banter in Slovenian as well all the time. It is like saying d*head stuff but being good at heart.
But some of British jokes are still difficult to understand, not that it is so brutal, but we just find it a bit wierd really.
Same as you would find wierd some our jokes about nationalities (slovenes, croats, serbs, bosnians, montenegrians).

I started to watch an old BBC TV series called "Dad's Army" and I didn't expect it to be that funny 😂, it's also a kind of depreciation of Britishness mentioned in the video.
My joke is: Descartes finishes his drink and the barman asks him if he wants another, Descartes says: "I don't think..." and he disappears.
(Descartes is known for saying "Cogito ergo sum." Meaning "I think therefore I am.")

Always thought Brits have wickiest humor on earth. Yet I found it very entertaining and love it. My favorite shows so far Catherine Tate in Catherine Tate's Show (really loooove her rendetion of Shakespeare's Sonette 130 that ending with her screaming, "BİTE ME, ALİEN BOY!!"), Mr. Khan and all his crews on Citizen Khan (the way he explained sex intercourse using Cricket metaphor was tottally ruined my view of Cricket. Eeek... And Oh, even when I watched a lecturing about fasting by Dr Pradip Jamnadas as If was lectured by Mr Khan. Well, if you know then you know). The BLACKADDER series that looong before Mr Atkinson was muted to Mr Bean and way more younger and handsome mate! The Ali G, Little Britain, the chatty Alan Carr and Graham Norton. Alas, nowadays many find Brits humors (comedy shows) are too racist. Or is it the world that shrinks and become too sensitive, innit?!

To understand British humour you firstly have to not take yourself too seriously. If you take yourself very seriously and act like the world revolves around yourself, you won't understand British humour at all.

Brits are very good at making puns! here are few which i found funny: 'To the guy who invented zero- thanks for nothing'.
My dad died when we couldn’t remember his blood type. As he died, he kept insisting for us to “be positive,” but it’s hard without him.
My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned. I couldn’t concentrate.
