And, please Cancel Your Contract with the USPS. Today, I was expected one of my medications to be delivered. Why today? Because, I was told twice to expect my delivery today. And...my mail carrier didn't deliver today. At 7:02 pm I received a message informing me that my Mailbox couldn't be accessed for delivery. In other words, it never showed up. No one on my entire street received anything from the USPS. At least use UPS.
How about a step by step video on how to do this? That would a better use for your resources. This one isn't helping anyone get through the process. I got real id several years ago and it works fine. I do remember that is was a confusing to get it.
My husband is a Vietnam Veteran, with a Mental disability, as his wife and his caregiver, I’m doing everything for his care. Can I sign in my name with his informations??
Just create his account and use his information (with his permission obviously) to sign in and access it.
Yet... there is no support.. from IDme.. it sucks
After reading through at least 50 responses, I find the same response, without exception, the general consensus is BULLSHIT! As ever, the va saves on expenses if they just make accessing services impossible. Now, my only option is calling my local clinic and either being on hold forever or left leaving voice messages, usually both. Does anyone expect this will make recruiting easier?
Veterans dependent award and chapter 35. Can a vet get both if 100 percent p and t
Can not get in.
This ID.ME is horrible. IT DOES NOT WORK. You make me have a USA cell phone number, but I don't live in the USA! Then when I call the "helpline" there is NO answer. This is your customer SERVICE number? WTH are you doing?
What kind of crap are you trying to pull? Why can't you just "validate me" with my EMAIL address that's already on file.
NOW thanks to YOU, I can't access My medical appointments and prescriptions AT ALL. Thanks VA. YOU HAVE FAILED another 20 year veteran.
Veterans in their 80's for thr most part don't like or trust computers. And, going through multiple verifications and setting up accounts on other sites. Will only confuse and anger more veterans. I'm 59 and I've spent many years watching the VA "change & adapt" for better service to our veterans. You've only made it more difficult and frustrating dor veterans. But, what else should we expect from people with no experience, making decisions in 3 piece suits in a glamorous office somewhere.
It does not work as the DUFAS explains...
This is such a disappointment! Good grief! FUBAR only begins to describe it. I have 2 factor authentication with my bank for crying out loud. Not good enough for the VA? Go figure. I am ashamed of the people who rolled this out. Come back to reality, please!
all gov.is like that now i had to do it to see my pension with opm.
I hope it works
It doesn't.
You can hope in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up first. It doesn't work.
Great addition veteran security! I find it very easy to use!
You must work for the VA.
I'll be calling in meds and they send me appt. notices. Never had no luck collecting mileage except for Gaylord appts.
It’s like they think us old farts are brainiac computer geeks! Come on. Went to VA clinic - no help..
When are you going to start talking about what happens when they remove all of our health insurance and benefits? When you going to stop talking about we have to resign up and things that aren't going to be here and apparently a month???????
I have tried for three months now to change, and it DOES NOT WORK! This video is ..... another lie.
I just added a whole paragraph which you guys deleted. I would like to thank you for not helping the veterans. Because you guys aren't helping anyone.
As you "dedicated your life to this, (making money) IDme has no support.. it is just another way to scam...
I use both logins and have no problems entering my VA.gov account and accessing my information. Good video explaining why VA did the change. 😀
I have both accounts. Easy to sign up and use. I like the change.
1% er.
Which section of the VA do you work for?
Thanks
For what? This is a joke and doesn't work. ID.me is screwing veterans with the VA's tacit approval.
I had to check something on my Social Security account today, and they gave me the same screen you show in this video. I already had ID.me account for the VA claims a while back, so I used that with the same password. It worked, but it was still tricky with a selfie for biometric identity and a couple other steps, but it worked. Looks like ID.me will work for any (?) government agency, they mentioned the IRS, SSA, and VA. In that regard one login for all agencies is definitely simpler.
I really don't like the biometric identity stuff. All the other identifiers should be sufficient.
The Vet does not have a cell phone and had a stroke so meeting the requirements of Id. me is not possible He has s my healthen.vet account that he was granted by the VA but how to get an id.me account. Cant seem to find a way to help him. (his sister). Help.
THE CEO of ID.ME is laughing all the way to the bank on this one. I bet he got a nice fat contract for something that FAILS VETERANS. Repeatedly. Hey Blake, I thought Rangers don't leave anyone behind? Turn in your tab, poser.
💯💯
I already have a Login.gov and ID.me sign-ins but for the life of me cannot figure out how to use either to login to VA. All info I see takes you thru establishing one of these and trying to start at the step after establishment does nothing. Maybe I’m just dense but having started with analog in 1961 and digital in 1972, I doubt it. Seems more like “We’s from da gubmn’t and we’s here to hep ya”
There was no need for this. I feel like they just had a big push to sign up for myhealthevet and now another change?
I don't want to give all my info to ID.me just to get refills on my meds.
Knowing the VA the ID.me log in will be changed in a few years to something else.
Why would a new sign in make a difference? What would a hacker do with the information, get more meds, maybe? Doesn't make sense to me unless you have already been hacked!
