There are not a lot of choices for simulators on the Mac. You might be best off purchasing a subscription to a web-based simulator. Design Soft, the makers of TINA, have a student web version (TINACloud) that is relatively low cost ($12 for a year). I've used it and it works just like TINA-TI with a few minor twists.
is it possible to use triacs, thyristors, diacs, and other components of this type?
I haven't used those specifically, but if you have a SPICE model from the manufacturer, it should run. I have imported op amp models with success.
Any ideas for radiation i.e. antenna simulations?
You're going to nee a more specialized tool for that. That's not something your average circuit simulator will do.
