Congratulations on your milestone. I know how much we as viewers benefit from your wisdom, experience and creativity. My question is - how has flosstube benefitted each of you?
I had to tell you when Ivan barked my Chesapeake who never pays attention to anything on tv came flying in and began to bark. I tried to explain who Ivan was….to no avail. Too funny! 🥰 love you two and of course Ivan.
So excited that I found you all, I have enjoyed watching your post especially as I am walking on 5he treadmill, you all have changed a chore into something enjoyable.
Congratulations on 20k subscribers. Your channel is so enjoyable...It's a good day when I see you've posted another video. I am interested to know how old each of you were when you started stitching. The Easter cross stitch is adorable. Thanks for another cheerful and informative video. Enjoy the day!
Wow! What a huge amount of subscribers! You two deserve it as you both know so many forms of needlework and then beading. Your beading is amazing, Liz. Deb will you come a decorate my home as I love all the beautiful items you use to decorate? Question: You both know quite a few specialty stitches, so which is your favorite specialty stitch to do and include in a pattern? and why?
LOVE ❤️ WATCHING YOU GUYS , I LEARN SOOOOOOO MUCH….. BECAUSE IM NEW AT THIS ,WHERE DO I GET THE SAMPLER STITCH HEART ?GARDENING… I would like to advance myself a little more now….
Glad to see you both back together. Look forward to watching your videos especially after having met you both. My question for you both is what is your favorite thing about each other? Holly.
I have to say you ladies are very talented and the your fans that have sent photos and gifts as well. Its so inspiring to see everyone's work...just amazing!
The question I have for both of you is what pattern have you both stitched & not necessarily the same pattern has been the most meaningful and why. Liz you are quite the enabler. I now have in my collection, the Frixion erase able highlighters and Round the Corner grid. Can’t wait to make some strawberries. Glad to hear Ivan is doing better. A big thank you to both of you ladies for sharing your love of needlework with all of us. Melody Patterson
What is your favorite must have can't stitch without stitching tool? I love watching you ladies. I would love to be able to meet you ladies one day. Congrats to 20000!
I'm extremely new to this craft. I've always been REAL BUSY to do any thing but work and be a mother before. Now I'm retired, alone and started cross stitching . I'm addicted. I am working on my 3rd project and just want to tell you gals, I find I add 1/2 stitches and sometimes I purposely over fill the stitch squares to cover all the under material. Have a great day. I'm not in ant competition nor any race.
I found your video today., I’m glad to be part of the 20k followers. Just returned to crossstitch after a 20+ year break. I stitch the old fashioned way, stick and stab. I see you both use hoops but am sure you use the sew method. Could you illustrate that for me? Surely I am not the only one who doesn’t understand how you do that in a hoop! Thank you for your video!
Thank you for another wonderful video, My cattle dog mix, Pili, responded to Ivan's comments with "Ruff, ruff, ruff". A bit too early to think about Easter, but in my neck of the woods, rabbits abound all year long. I checked out Fox and Rabbit floss tube this week and "amazing" does not capture what they do. I am in awe of them. I would not have "discovered" them without your mention so keep sharing your discoveries!!!
Thank you for all the time you put into making this show. You make my week. I love the Easter pattern. I would be happy to skip winter and start spring.
Congratulations on 20K subscribers!!. I love your Sally Spenser, it is beautiful. I tried to find the chart and cannot find it anywhere. My question is How did you two meet and become such good stitchy friends?. Your friendship is to be admired. Also the fact that you both share your love of stitching.
I am so thrilled Ivan is doing so much better and things will improve. The was the best news!! Of course, I love everything you all are stitching and the things you finished. Thanks for sharing!❤️🧵🪡❤️
Easter, gardening, Holly. All fun things! I had to say for your baby mouse an idea for a hat could be an old thimble! Love the tiny one over 1 mouse! Question for your 20 questions: Do either of you do other crafts besides needlework?
Congrats on 20K - that is unbelievable!! Where is the most unusual place that you have stitched? And, what is the best thing you have ever made and given as a gift to another? Thanks so much for sharing your time and talent💕
I am not entering to win anything. I just want to say how beautiful the fob is that you made! Congratulations on your subscribers. You girls are the best! Your content is reward enough for me.
Love your finishes and the color choices for Deb's sampler! Poster hangers are a genius idea; the black one looked like the plastic bobbins you can wind your floss on. I wood love to adopt and finish Jolly. Than yo for very enjoyable videos!
I would like to thank you for your great channel yours was the first flosstube I found and I love it. I have cross stitched all of my life, in amongst other crafts, and have stitched gifts for other people over the years. I started a map, "Britain in Stitches - Northumberland" by Heritage Stitch Craft, about 25 years ago (life got in the way) which I never finished but with your enabling I finished it today. I am now going to complete "Britain in Stitches - Yorkshire", which I probably started about 20 years ago. I have another very large Blackwork map to finish and lots of "Waiting in the Wings" charts which are kitted up and waiting to be started. Also the birth of my granddaughter in August 2020 (she was born on my birthday, so proud) inspired me to start and finish charts. I stitched a birth sampler for her and the then stitched a picture of a Spitfire for my mother for last Christmas. Thank you once again for your wonderful channel and good luck with all your stitching projects they are wonderful. Regards Ruth. p.s. I hope Ivan is well on the mend. Now back to Yorkshire ( I am a Subscriber but not sure if you can see that. I have followed your instructions so that you can see it but not sure if it worked)
Hi Liz and Deb, congratulations on your 20 thousand subscribers. Liz your little Quaker stockings are very pretty. Deb I like how you change the colors of thread to suit your taste on the charts that you purchase. Liz I use pacifier clips to stretch my fabric on the sides when it is on a scroll rod. It just has a heart decoration that is glued down on the clip part. TTFN have a great week.
My question for you girls is. How many hours do you take to prepare for an episode? You are always so prepared I’m sure you don’t throw it together in a day. Thank you for your time spent entertaining and educating all of us.
Congratulations on your 20,000 subscribers! My question is what part of the day is your favorite stitching time? I enjoy early mornings when it’s quiet. It’s part of my morning routine. Bible reading, coffee and stitching time. It’s like my morning isn’t complete when I don’t get even just a few moments of some stitching. You girls do beautiful work…Again, congratulations!
Enjoy your flosstube every time. I appreciate your sharing all that you do and all you teach us. I'm interested in Easter Gardening and Holly. Have a great stitchy time!
Amazing time...Easter, Gardening and Holly...always so amazing watching you. Questions 1:...When you two met many years ago, did you think that you would become such good friends.? Questions 2 ....How has being a Flosstubers with 20k Subscribers changed your life?....thanks for sharing...take care and Congratulations
Easter Holly Garden. We love your stuff. Keep up the gorgeous needle work and enjoy your granddaughter. Been watching you guys for awhile and you guys remind me of home as I have family in South West Pa. Love watching you guys.
Congratulations on 20K subscribers. You both are a joy to watch. For 20 Questions: If the both of you could plan a trip anywhere in the world (that you haven't been before) for a stitching retreat, where would it be and why? Hope you both have a great start to your November and have lots of stitchy time. Take care.
I’m just getting caught up on your videos! Local needlework shops are so important and some of us are very lucky to have them nearby. Thanks for touching on that at the end. I love watching this channel and how supportive you both are of others and each other!
Hi. Like your channel. Back in the early 1980's my sister taught me to cross stitching and I had a real passion for it. My specialty was always small projects. Mason jar lids, ornaments, broach, and small pillows. Thru the years it fell by the wayside. However I saved my fav pattern books and picked up a few more along the way.
Hello lovely ladies!!!! I am thoroughly enjoying your videos. I watch a couple of your new and now I’m catching up with the old! I used to live in Old Hickory many many years ago! You both do beautiful work! Thank you for your wisdom!
So glad to hear Ivan is doing well. Such good news. And congratulations on 20 K subscribers… well deserved, your work, and info on all your videos are always fantastic. Love that variegated beige. And Deb how you figure changing floss so well, just boggles me. Love your colour changes…oh. So close to a finish its beautiful !! Oh Liz the stockings are so cute, very pretty. I have done the autumn cricket collection, love the Easter one. My question… how to decide what colours to change,to as i get confused in the colour families and they rarely look right like yours, granted I use DMC as don’t have many variegated. I like muted prim type but get very confused. So deb even though Liz says it’s a given talent but man help !! Lol. With those magnetic poster frame things, how thick can it be? That is so cool.
That poem we used to sing that in Sunday School. I find the suspender things, your fabric has to be far enough away from side bars to work well but they do work. Have a great time till you are back!!!
Congratulations on having reached 20,000 subscribers ! Having done so I would now consider you two “Floss Tube Celebrities “! My question is do you feel like celebrities? You certainly do not project that image in any way, but it certainly must give you great personal satisfaction to know that 20,000 viewers want to tune in to see what you two are doing to “ Share the Joy of Needlework “ with all of us ❤️
Way to go ladies!!! 20k is incredible! I know we all have fav projects we’re working on now… what are each of your favorite project EVER and why? Ie what parts of it made it so special to you. Can you show them? Love your flosstube so much!!
Congratulations!!! This question is for both of you: whenever you go to cross stitch shopping or online order, do you feel you buy too much or not enough, Easter,Gardening and Holly, enjoy your video. Happy stitching.
Love you guys. All your patterns and goodies are wonderful. My question is have you either one ever thought of designing? With Liz's experience and Deb's creativity I think you would come up with something great!
Glad to have you both back. Congratulations on 20 thousand subscribers! Before I get to my question, Holly!!! Inheriting one of your projects Liz is awesome. BTW, so happy Ivan is doing well. My question is two fold. What is your wonderful friendship history, and you both choose your own floss for most of your project, but how do you do that? I think I am wishing for a tutorial. 😁 Love you guys and happy to have you back.
I am so happy to hear that Ivan had a better diagnosis than originally thought...he is part of Country Stitchers! I also love your finishing idea with the little frame thingies...going to have to try that and I think I know which stitch I'm going to try it with. For your 20 questions...What gadget, tool, thread or fabric were you really excited to try and ended up not liking it all? As a side note Liz has made me fall in love with her peyote fobs so I just had to go buy a Fern Ridge kit...we'll see if I can make that happen. Cheers to you both~Tara
My question for you both is, Name one project in your WIP's that you struggle with, what makes it difficult and if possible show the project. Thanks for your videos they bring so much joy!
Congratulations on your 20,000 subscribers! 😊 where is your favorite place to stitch? Favorite chair? Favorite room? Do you watch tv while stitching? Liz, how long does it take you to make your beautiful scissor fobs? Will you be selling your designs? Thank you
Question for both of you: With so many lovely pieces that you've done and will do, is there one that you feel represents who you are at the core? What would a Liz piece look like? What would a Deb piece be? If there isn't one, what would your ideal piece be (if there was no limit to size, style, charting resources, fabric, floss, etc)? While I don't tend to lean towards samplers and traditional images, I really enjoy watching your videos as it exposes me to other styles and artists and who knows, maybe one day I'll pick up a sampler and give it a go! Your friendship chemistry also shines in your videos and is a great comfort to watch as well. Thank you for all the hard work and time you put into these videos!
The pouches would be great for items to go on a plane. Easter, gardening, holly. They look amazing. That fob is beautiful. Question, what amount of time do you spend stitching. Do your children support your stitching, and ask you to make items. Do you insure all your items, especially when travelling.
I enjoyed this video as usual. Your FFOS and wips are stunning. Thank you for sharing Deb on the magnetic pieces for top or side frame. That was very interesting. Thank you.
Easter, Gardening and Holly, love it all and we get Liz’s original stitching, priceless! How supportive are your husbands about your stitching (hobby)? It would be really cool if you could interview them on camera without them knowing your question to them.
Congrats! On reaching 20k subscribers. We all I'm sure are as excited about that fact as you both are. We love your videos and the fun memories that you bring to us. So glad to hear that Ivan is doing better now. Love the Easter, gardening and Holly stitches. And my question is... have either one of you attempted hardanger stitching? If so we would love to see your work. Thanks again for sharing the joy of needlework.
Thank you for sharing the poster hangers. Great idea! I also shared with my history teacher daughter who changes out posters in her classroom quite often.
You both are such experienced stitchers... and will stitch on anything over 1 or 2..it doesn't matter... I'm sure someone will ask what's your favorite count or fabric type... but my question is what is your favorite specialty stitch that you think is fun or love how it looks 💜☮
Thanks for the project scroll frame idea. I’m headed over to Amazon. Do you have a favourite piece that you stitched? Does that change? Has your stitching changed over time? I guess I have lots of questions. You both do amazing work. Finishing is always challenging for me so I appreciate all of the ideas that you share. Happy stitching🧵🪡
Deb, All Creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, and all things bright and beautiful are Book by James Herriot, and PBS has a show called All creatures great and small.
Easter and Holly are both beautiful. My question - How many hours a day do you devote to stitching? Enjoying your videos so much. You have taught this old lady some new stitching tricks.
Congratulations on 20k subscribers. Love the Cath Kidston tin--I need to search for it. Her things are amazing especially her pajamas--so comfy and cozy. Love the James Herriot books.

Easter Gardening and Holly. My question is out of all your pieces, which one is your favorite and why is it special to you. Love all your work
Congratulations. This is for both of you separately. What is the best stitching advice you were given from your stitching buddy.
My question for you both is, Name one project in your WIP's that you struggle with, what makes it difficult

If so we would love to see your work. Thanks again for sharing the joy of needlework.
Awesome WIPS AND FOS. Love your new WIPS too!
Congratulations to you both on reaching 20,000 from Jude in Australia
I love the Cricket designs and bunnies, so Easter. I just purchased a Just Nan mouse. They are adorable. Thank you.
Glad you two are back together! Easter and holly
Which was your least favorite and your favorite cross stitch you have completed?
Thank you for sharing the poster hangers. Great idea! I also shared with my history teacher daughter who changes out posters in her classroom quite often.
You both are such experienced stitchers... and will stitch on anything over 1 or 2..it doesn't matter... I'm sure someone will ask what's your favorite count or fabric type... but my question is what is your favorite specialty stitch that you think is fun or love how it looks 💜☮
Love the Easter pattern and garden heart pattern
Question for you both, which finished cross stitch is your favorite, I’ll be nice 😊 Pick your top three😉❤️ congratulations!🎊🎉🍾🎈
My question to both of you is What is your favorite piece you have stitched and why is it your favorite what makes it special? Great video!!
I love the Stoney creek Easter pattern. I’m finishing up the Autumn one. Thanks for sharing!
