Thanks for watching & subscribing! This install is very simple. I’ve had the lights for two years with no issues. I would recommend putting windshield sealant around the seam of the light to keep condensation out. I did that when I bought them and it’s worked great!

I’m working on a video right now where I install new fog lights on my Escalade. In that video I show how to apply the sealant. There’s really no trick to it. You just put it on and if you put too much on, just wipe off the excess. But the fog light video will actually show the process. That video will be out next Saturday.

Unfortunately I don’t have a recommendation. I do all my work myself. I would ask coworkers, family and friends if they can recommend a local mechanic or shop who has done good work on their cars. The jobs that you want done aren’t that complicated so I think you’ll be ok.
Escalade Tail Lights Conversion - Very good vid. I love the gmc looks but wanted those "Lightsaber" taillights so much I thought I was going to have to buy an Escalade. Now I don't have to and now know how cheap and simple the switch is to do. Thanks.

mine came in and was done in about 30 min, the hardest part was unplugging the harness but it worked out fine all is well thanks for the information it made it a lot simpler and fast
Great video. If anyone has a lot of trouble disconnecting the underside tail light connectors, clean the dirt out of where you have to push down with a flat head screwdriver or a knife. Freed mine right up.

My installation was simple as well. But one small problem. Maybe you can help. My brake and signal light go on when I hit the brakes....any wiring I have to adjust. I thought it was was plug and play but I guess not. Thank you.
It should be plug & play. I know a guy who installed a set and they didn’t work properly because the pins in the wiring harness bent when he was trying to snap them together under the bumper. Once he took it off and straightened the pins, he snapped it back together and it worked as it should.
You’re welcome! The process is pretty much the same, just make sure you purchase the lights for the Escalade and not for the Yukon, Tahoe or Suburban. I think the connector may be different for the Escalade.

Is there a way to turn off the top of the lights so they don't light all the way up? Probably not. Love the look but don't like the lights all the way up to the top.
I've been searching for videos related to GMT900 performance upgrades (reliability/braking/handling/power/etc.). I really wish those were the kinds of videos you were producing because you did such a fantastic job of filming exactly what needs to be done and editing out all the nonsense. My only critique would be to recommend that you plug in and test each assembly PRIOR to installing them. Always best if you can do that before you tear things apart. Otherwise, great job, man. 5 out of 5.

You’re welcome! Unfortunately I can’t. The Yukon is long gone. I drive an Escalade EXT now. But there are several videos of people with these lights. One of those might show all the different lights illuminated.

It’s really simple! The aftermarket lights are made to fit right in.

Very helpful! Im thinking of getting these for my 2011 Escalade
They definitely make these for 2007-2014 Escalades. Installation should be pretty much the same.
I've been searching for videos related to GMT900 performance upgrades (reliability/braking/handling/power/etc.).
I really wish those were the kinds of videos you were producing because you did such a fantastic job of filming exactly what needs to be done and editing out all the nonsense.
My only critique would be to recommend that you plug in and test each assembly PRIOR to installing them. Always best if you can do that before you tear things apart.

Thanks for watching & be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already! I bought the 3rd brake light off eBay. Just search “escalade style 3rd brake light” and you should see it. There are only a few bolts holding it in. It’s pretty simple to change.

You’re welcome! Unfortunately I can’t. The Yukon is long gone. I drive an Escalade EXT now. But there are several videos of people with these lights. One of those might show all the different lights illuminated.
