maybe try to adjust your breathing and lower your arms. also don't chug water and if you do drink water before running, take little sips. and remember, if running isnt your thing, then you dont have to do it :) keep your head up!

ArisaStudios The problem with a lot of people who want to run is thinking that running is just a matter of running. More often than not, people who have issues with their stomach when running is because they have just eaten or their stomach is not empty. It is very important that you have an empty stomach and are well hydrated preferably only with water. Hydration does not mean drinking gallons before a run. In fact you should drink water only up to about two hours before you run. It is a different case if your run is really long. Then, you can just keep taking in little amounts of water throughout the run until you finish. The best way to hydrate is to spread your hydration. Instead of taking a lot of water at once, drink every couple of hours. And even when it comes to drinking, listen to your body. Don't drink too much if you are not thirsty. Over hydration is worse than dehydration. In any case, don't run long distances when starting out. A ten minute easy run should be enough for the first day, then keep advancing. Running too much too soon will only cause injuries that you will regret. P.S: Take in a lot of carbs preferably from fruits. That will make a very big difference. Fruits and vegetables are a runners best friend.

Hell, my time for approx a 2 mile run was 15:50:91 or sth like that (fastest for me, about 2-3 min improvement from last attempt), and even then, it was slow considering the 1st person to finish had a time of 12:30 sth sth.
Well I think it's genetic. My brother is very physical, and is very fit, but he can endure only a little bit more than me, my dad can't run very far, and my mother hates running all together, so yeah. My family's muscles are 80% fast twitch, so that means we are sprinters and can run a lot faster than other people. So long distance is a huge no.
Jog or run lightly and then slowly speed up the pace. When I first joined cross country in high school I thought there's no way I could run hard for a mile. But I slowly worked my way up to 3, then 5, then 8 miles. It's really about running with your mind.

The last mile is always so nice on a long run of 5+ miles, I always feel so good like I could run forever! Anybody else experience this? It's called the runner's high. I've been running for like 8 years now since I was in 3rd grade and you only get this feeling every once in a while. It really is the best thing ever.

1 tip: When you're jogging it's good to try to always wear like jogging clothes or something becausebthen people won't assume you're running to or from something.
Is anyone else running and thinking "Run Forrest, run!" just to keep motivated..? xD
The last mile is always so nice on a long run of 5+ miles, I always feel so good like I could run forever! Anybody else experience this? It's called the runner's high. I've been running for like 8 years now since I was in 3rd grade and you only get this feeling every once in a while. It really is the best thing ever.
You have no idea how good and proud of yourself you feel when you finish your run
I wish this is what I thought of when running. With asthma basically all I can think of is "Holy %#@$ I can't breath."
