It's funny those calling Drake a culture vulture, are never the ones rooted in the culture nor do they contribute anything to it, but he gets a cosign from those in the culture.
@@FrankEcks Lol I new some one would come up with the Wiley beef,/rants, but you a fool for taking Wiley seriously that guy has beef with everyone just for clout I am sure he even beefs with his own mom. That's why no one ever took his rants on Drake seriously. Next time come up with a better example bro.
When I hear the culture vulture comments, I feel like people didn't listen to the So Far Gone (2009). The fact that his production has been so versatile has allowed him to be a global artist. There is no regional sound. Of course sounds have evolved and became popular over the years and he incorporated that into his music.
the "vulture" trope is totally ridiculous, simply being a fan of a sub-genre and participating in it through your own music is completely normal. people want to gatekeep something that don't even belong to them in the first place... if you don't enjoy the music, move on... stop trying to make people feel guilty for enjoying MUSIC

Not true all of the time tbh (see Wiley in the UK scene calling out drake for using the Faux British accent and being a “culture vulture”)
