people demolished camila for leaving fifth harmony. they stayed together after she left but they didn’t stay together long and all members have now gone their separate ways. one thing that pissed me off throughout my fifth harmony era was the fact that people *slandered* camila for the line distribution and when she finally left to pursue her own music, now y’all wanna get pressed and say *she* made the group fall apart? *YALL DIDNT WANT HER THERE ANYWAYS!!*
She got alot of hate when she left and because she was like the main star of the grp their album didn't do that well so they broke up

I never clicked this fast on a reaction video. I love all your videos, and I'm a huge fan of Camila and Shawn's music. And their relationship is fascinating to me, mostly because it is so rare in the type of industry they work in. I watched them grow from teenagers to adults, and their friendship & support of each other has been unwavering. They truly are soulmates. You could tell from day 1 they have crazy chemistry together, but it's been a long journey for them to come together officially as a couple. As someone who followed their journey all along, I would summarize it as follows: boy and girl meet, they have a crush on each other, write a song together and likely have a short teenage fling but the boy's career is just taking off and he chooses to focus on it. Girl waits for two years for boy to come back and take their friendship to the next level, but he waits too long to do it. When he finally decides he is ready, she had just met someone new. She starts a new relationship but the boy doesn't give up. He writes more songs confessing his feelings. They finally come together once again to record Senorita and the rest is history.

If you want to add to Shawn's side of his first "unrequited" confession, check out "Song for No One" on his new album, "Wonder." He admitted it was about him first trying to confess to Camilla his long-repressed romantic feelings for her and getting rejected that time because she was with her ex (in an effort to move on from her feelings for him).
The lyrics are: "Yesterday, I got pretty drunk/Said some things that I shouldn't have/Told you I really love you/You did not reciprocate those feelings." My guess is that the combination of bad timing, booze, and possible jealousy-fuelled stuff Shawn might have said lead to Camila hurtfully lashing out with "Should've Said It" and "Feel It Twice."
In "Feel It Twice," she uses used the line "How can I be your friend when I know the way you taste?" She was the one to later add that line to "Senorita" ("You say we're just friends/But friends don't know the way you taste, la-la-la (La, la, la)." Shawn may have said something similar to her during his botched first confession and she later incorporated it into their duet when she knew she was still in love with him like she always had been.
Go on, go on, now tell about how she had hid/suppressed her love for him and by working together and being close again she couldn’t hide it any longer.
@@DS-tx7vv I am not an expert on their lives, I just have pieced together things in a way that seems to fit given the details we already know/they have confirmed for us. Their story is their own. All I know for sure is that the mutual feelings were always there from the beginning, or at least, a very rare connection that clearly hinted at more than just platonic friendship.
Shawn also has mentioned in recent interviews that even though he prided himself on being a sensitive male, Camila pointed out to him that he wasn't always as open to her as he should have been. He wanted to be "The Man" and not seem "weak" to her and he had to open up outside of his songwriting. There's even a line in his new song, "Wonder," that goes: "I wonder when I cry into my hands/I'm conditioned to feel less of a man." She helped him face that about himself and rise up against that toxic emotional repression that is imposed on men thanks to the patriarchy.
@@rebekahvaught2747 I thought it was interesting that after all of these years of wanting her and him saying he finally decided to do something about it that it was Camila who taught him to be all in the relationship and he wasn’t all in in the beginning because he said if you are all in the hurt is more painful if it doesn’t work out, so after all he insured he was still scared and almost ruined it. The love of these two and how they work so well together in all aspects is just wow to me
@@DS-tx7vv In Shawn's Netflix documentary, Camila called them a "saga" and that epic label does seem to fit them perfectly, especially, when you learn the long and complex history behind their love story. What you said about how while Shawn's heart was fully there, but he was still afraid of going all in, and she helped him face his fears fits in what he said in that interview about how she feels things so strongly and loves harder than anyone else he knows. And just to be clear, I know he loves her just as hard, but due to the toxic patriarchy effect, he was afraid to show that outside of all the love songs he wrote about her for years. Thankfully, he's moved past those hang-ups because "Wonder" is basically an ode to her, their relationship, and what he wants for them in the future.
@@rebekahvaught2747 yes, he showed her he was “Shameless”. Before the documentary came out i think during her romance time she had talked about them both not realizing they liked each other, shawn writing songs such as Ruin and Treat you better probably Mercy as he says they are all about her and her not even aware. I think he got a clue or slap in the face when he got her album early and relised all those songs were about him as he mentions in his song Why. Their story is so intriguing i keep going back to interviews with Zane Lowe, she talked about a song she wrote about friends not acting like friends something about sitting on the couch and him also talking about her being his favorite person in the entire world. Anyway its a beautiful love story they both said they could relate too in the Senorita narrative describing that video.

what happened that night in december 5 years ago (camila 5h drama) is literally a whole video in itself and no one to this day really understands wtf happened because they never talk about it...some say she left, i say she was kicked, but thats my opinion
After the success of IKWYDLS, the management of 5H told Camila that she won't be allowed to do both solo projects and stay in the group at the same time. She'd have to leave 5H if she wants to continue doing stuff outside the group. So, Camila and her manager said to 5H and their management that she will be leaving 5H after the 7/27 album cycle is over, i.e. 18th december, 2016. The 5H mngt tried to make her stay, but Camila was adamant on why she was leaving and what she wanted. So it was already decided that on 18th Dec, 2016, her contractual agreement to the group will be over.
But then what happened was 5H released the infamous statement without consulting Camila or her manager on how they will handling the breaking of the news in a mature way, and created a fake narrative that they didn't know it, as a PR strategy to put the blame on Camila and publicly proclaim her as the "BAD GUY".
Camila then issued her own statement about them knowing her departure. Then 5H released another statement about the whole thing but it went unnoticed.
Conclusion: Fifth Harmony and their management were all immature a-holes wanting any attention they can possibly et and sabotage Camila's image.
