I have something very close to yours mine didn't have gray around the canister mine is blue but it has the same color gray on the bottom of the canister I use that for a few years and then I replaced it with a Kenmore Progressive in blue I don't know what part of the country you are if you're in Canada they call its a Kenmore Elegance I like that Kenmore you have is it called a whisper tone? Have you heard of a Kenmore Progressive Elegance thank you have a great night I like your vacuum sounds
