So I recently figured out why I liked this video so much: the camera movements. It doesn't just sit still in one place the entire time; it moves, tilts, zooms, jumps from character to character, changes angles. The work put into that adds a very nice touch to the overall video

I did this song and dance for a talent show recently with two other friends, both of which were guys. We got first place and a chance in the news paper, plus we decided to do an encore for everyone. It was so much fun! Of course, in this case I was Gumi. My boyfriend took the place of Teto and his brother took the place of Miku. We had specially designed costumes and everything! It was such a hit with my school, that they're having us do it again next year and they want us to compete again. ^^

I've watched several MMD videos for this because it's my favorite Vocaloid song, but this one is still the best imo.
The animation is smooth, the camera angles work well (and not just for the t&a either, however their outfits are nice though) and the camera isn't all over the place trying to give me motion sickness, finally just little details like how the girls wink at the camera every so often.

Wasnt the song, skimpy outfits, sexy girls or anything like that (although it's still great) it was the quality of animation, shading, expressions, everything is just goddamn beautiful. This surpasses the quality of even rwby. It's just so frigging good.

The video as in what can be seen on the screen on its own is brilliant. I'm happy MMD has come such a long way BUT the visuals aren't connected with the lyrics at all which is usually mandatory for a PV. ECHO is a serious psychological song yet this [although good] dance belongs in a pop idol's music video. I was just expecting something deeper and more meaningful than tits and ass.

So, I love this song but hearing the lyrics it makes me kinda feel sad. I feel like it deals with the issue of emotianally unstable people (like borderline-syndrom). The clock stopped ticking forever ago means that person loses all sense of time. Maybe referring to an inner emptiness. Trying to hold onto something that isn't there and yet not being able to let go expresses an inner conflict/brokenness together with desperation. "Why can't I see all the colors that you see?" Meaning that person wants to be like someone else or like everyone else because humans are usually able to see colors. The person knows he/she is different. Also, people with depression usually have this black tunnel vision where everthing (like the future) is "black". Another interpretation might be referring to the black/white thinking typical for borderline. Its a kind of thinking where everything and everyone is either good or bad but nothing in between. The question might mean that the person has already tried to change but has failed, he/she doenst know how to go on. "Please", as a plea in desperation, "can I be colorful and free", the person wants to be rid of these feelings and be like a "normal" person. The switching faster than the channels in TV would support my borderline-theory. People with borderline have often mood swings that go from high to down, so the switching channels might be referring to that. Black as in down, white as in good, but the person knows its not "normal" to be switching emotions so fast. The invisible enemy is the inner conflict, the inner self one has to fight but as stated in the song, the person doesnt know how. Trembling fear is a very negative feeling. The fear might be because the person doesnt know whats wrong, afraid to speak about it or scared he/she might lose the fight to their inner self maybe leading to insanity (or even suicide). As for "Echo in the Mirror": An Echo is something that one has heard before, words, that not neccessarily have to come from oneself, the mirror shows your "true" self. It's something you have seen before if you have looked in the mirror before. So heard and seen before may mean something that has been experienced before, more specifically mean the feelings the person experiences over and over again as well as the inner conflict. To burn down ones house means cutting all ties with something that you are familiar with and that usuaully is dear to you. It can be good if it refers to these negative feelings and implies that the person starts to accepts themself but it can also be negative as in cutting all ties and shutting one away from anyone they know. Running away is usually negative, they cannot deal with it so they try to escape. That would go with the shutting oneself away from everyone. But it can also be positive if we think of the line before as positive, that the person burns all these negative feelings and accepts himself. Then the running away from that place can mean a fresh start. Maybe I am being really negative here but thats just what I herad when I listened to the song. But I would appreciate if you guys told me your opinions on this.:) Sorry if my english is not that good ^^"

Your theory makes a lot of sense, but what I like the most of it, is that you can see the lyrics in a positive light, I have read a lot of theories of what this song is about and like 99.9% are completely negative, they don't even try to see a light in the lyrics, so yeah, good job
