- A Pokemon TCG Lost Thunder Booster Box is opened in this video. Lost Thunder is brand new, just being released November 2nd, 2018. With 236 total cards, Lost Thunder is the largest set ever in the Pokemon TCG. I purchased this booster box from Collector's Cache for $89.99. This is part 1, where I open the first 18 booster packs in the box.

Meganium’s ability is a bit confusing! If you can use that ability on your first turn wouldn’t you have to evolve this Pokémon in order to evolve another Pokémon. Correct me if I’m wrong but how would this work if you don’t have his basic and stage one cards. 🤷🏽♂️
You would need to have 1 Meganium set up and in play first, before you could use its Ability, yes.

Such a great looking card!
A great set overall with Johto and Sinnoh Pokémon. But the cards go way up in value. A single Ditto prism star card costs 30 MYR here in Malaysia.
All of these cards are somewhat valuable right now, they should drop in price soon.
Haven't been in touch with the TCG for a couple years, so could anyone tell me what are GX cards? And what happened to EX cards? Or are they the same thing? :D

GX cards replaced EX cards, these GX cards are extra powerful Pokemon, once a GX is knocked out, two prize cards are taken instead of one.
What the difference is, is that most GXS aren’t basic, have more hp, and have a super powerful once per game move called a GX attack. Hope this helps!

Why do you call the cards reverse holo that are not? When you get to the actual reverse holo cards you say it's a regular card, am I missing something?
Reverse holo cards have a holofoil pattern everywhere but the illustration window.
@@PrimetimePokemon yes, I know about that but in your video it looks like you're calling the card before the reverse, a reverse holo.

Just bought 4 packs (guess a lot of us did) and pulled a Virizion GX (wts if anyone's interested)
I have a couple questions maybe someone has the answers to.
- Shouldn't these all be first edition cards?
- Do they still make first edition cards or am I too old school?
- What do the shapes next to the number in the bottom left corner mean? (stars, circles, diamonds)
- Is GX just the new EX?
GX cards replaced EX cards, yes. The shapes indicate the rarity of the card. In Japan they still make 1st Edition cards, not in English.
