What sort of recommendations do you need? Media City only, or further afield?

Asha's - Indian, expensive but lovely
Annie's - owned by Jennie McAlpine, good steak, good Lancashire hot pot, authentic Northern cuisine
      Hotel Gotham - afternoon tea
20 Stories - great views, very high end food
Hawksmoor - the best steak, also does roast dinners
The Ivy - celebrity haunt, very very trendy, often paps outside on weekends
Porky Pig - Yorkshire pudding wraps (not sure if still open but we had a delivery)
Dakota Grill and Restaurant - also very posh, does a nice breakfast buffet
One Plus Restaurant - great Chinese place for Chinese hot pot / Chinese BBQ
The Alchemist - nice cocktails, filming location, party hangout
Lazy Sundae - icecreams, milkshakes and bubble tea
Mrs A's Kitchen - lovely Indian place that does takeaway Thalis
Mughli Charcoal Pit - on the Curry Mile, really great Indian street food
Further afield - Navigation Inn (once owned by Pat Phoenix), Lantern Pike (Tony Warren and Pat Phoenix's location, does a decent roast)

Just as a point of reference, the partial terrace houses you can see, are not the houses on Coronation Street. On screen, they’re the rears to the houses on Maudsley Street and sit directly behind the Coronation Street houses on the other side of the ginnel. The terrace houses on Coronation Street are 1/9 scale, but are four walled enclosed buildings, unlike the ones you can see here, which really, are nothing more than an elaborate backdrop.

Thank you! We realised this about the Maudey Street houses after we published the episode! 😅
