I was laughing out loud at the memory of when we were prepping for a wedding when Cole was a child and the barber said, “I’ll fix him right up!” Boy did she! Lol!!!! Let’s just say, the crew cut did grow out! 😂
Cole - Aunt Melissa here and this reminds me so much of when you were a little boy. I think it’s the expressions on your face that are making me laugh so hard. Emily here’s my pro tip for cutting hair… always use a guard. Back when Mark and I were dating I used to cut his hair with the clippers in my parents garage. One day for whatever reason I decided to not use the guard. As soon as I made the first swipe in the back of Marks head I said, “ oops!” I just remember Mark saying, “What do you mean oops?” I had to cut the rest of his hair down and it was pretty much down to the scalp. The next day he went to work at the Lion King Show at the Magic Kingdom with a ball cap on because it was a time when Disney had very strict guidelines for Cast Member appearances and a shaved head was not in the guidelines. Halfway through his day he had to take his hat off to put on one of the puppets and a manager saw his head. After the show he got called into the office and was almost written up for his appearance but they took pity on him after he explained the mistake I made. So…. Always use a guard!
Love the episode! I have been cutting my husband's hair for 21 years! It's called, "self-sufficiency." We have been preparing for boat life for the past 14 years. But wait! It gets better! Soon, you will be assisting in manscaping - using the clippers to shave his back hair! Your own little Furby!😅❤
Also, I loved the rest of the video. There is something to be said for a laid back day of playing board games after church…. has to be good for the soul! ❤️
To be fair to Cole, they have 4 days left on their filming challenge of a video a day for April. I can see the apprehension of not wanting to finish it with a bowl cut ;)

I have been cutting my own hair with clippers since the mid-80s. The key is being OK with a few mess ups the first couple of times. Then it is so much easier. I dont have hair anymore but I do still have my clippers. Used them in 2 different wars before I lost my hair. Have fun with it. It will grow back if you make an oops. You got this Emily.
The problem with the Bahamas and having a dog is that when you walk along there are a million dogs on every corner wanting to tear into your dog. Oh my wife cuts my hair, and she seems to get better every time she does it.

You have enough precision in your hands to do it. Or just get a Flowbee. Yep look it up. Way before your time. Used one for years on me, the kids and the neighborhood kids. What’s up for tomorrow?
