    I made it with 15cm foil tissue in about 90 minutes. Not perfect, but the design is stunning. This, and Jo nakashimas eagle, are my favorite models so far

    So many undeserved negative comments! Thank you for sharing this free tutorial with the public. It was well done in my opinion. It’s obvious so many people here feel unnecessarily entitled for you to provide them with a FREE origami tutorial perfectly catered to their individual learning needs haha! Don’t mind them or their critiques.

    A nice model, but a very frustrating demonstration fold. Much too fast at critical points and made more confusing by continuously rotating the model during a fold. Needs to be redone more slowly, with two coloured paper and without all the rotations.

      i folded it very comfortably with 20x20cm
      *edit*: no problems encountered with 20x20cm except for maybe the horn but thats mostly a thickness problem

    perhaps move your hand out of the way so the camera can see the model after you make a crucial fold.

      I disagree, I've lived amongst these animals my entire life and I feel this model is quite an accurate representation. They're extremely stocky animals :)

    • @TheGaurdianSeesYou
      @TheGaurdianSeesYou 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      also, dumb question, do you think I'd be able to use rhino hide paper on this? If you haven't used it, it's a thick paper like elephant hide that can be tricky with layers and hard against the grain. Also with wetfolding should I dampen then fold or fomd till I have to dampen?

    • @SethFriedmanOrigami
      @SethFriedmanOrigami  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use rhino hide for this model. Wet folding isn't necessary, you can just use some glue at the end to hold the parts in place.

    Very frustrating demonstration. You move much too fast at critical points, and rotate the model way too much. And you almost never move your hands out of the way so the viewer can see what you are doing.

    This is not a tutorial. This is a video of a professional folding origami at full speed and obscuring important details with scene cuts (8:20) and blocking the rest of the view with hands.

    • @Guttor
      @Guttor 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nah the figure didn't change at all. Scene cut just transitioned to a more zoomed in shot.
